Wow you took me back there man. I lived in Tollcross through 70s 80s 90s. Left in early 2000. Lived in Altyre Street my whole life. That’s new houses their building on the part that was closed. That’s were I lived😊. Yeah good times and bad but that’s what it’s all about innit. Would go back to those times in a heartbeat ❤. Btw Dinira Street looks like an open prison 😮😮. Also fantastic to see Tollcross Park❤. Had many many great times in that park through the decades. Thank you very much for your video trip down memory lane❤. All the best from the USA ❤
T VIDEO OUR SONS USED 2 WORKS AT THE BISCIT FACTORY NOW WORKS AT THEWISKY FACTORY IN OR OFF LONDON RD THANKS AGAIN BRILLIANT KEEP DOING THIS GREAT STUFF POWFOOT ST JUST OF WEST MUIR ST SMALL WORLD WHERE I STAYED FOR A SMALL WHILE CHEERS THANKS
Fantastic Paul. I enjoyed that tremendously. Many, many thanks. As you say, many changes. I saw a lot more than I asked you for, so thanks for that as well. The area around Prosen St was a no go area for us kids from Dunira St. The old railway bridge on Braidfauld St that has since been pulled down used to seperate 2 rival gangs, lol. That was in the 70s. I doubt it's still like that although not sure if the gang culture still exists. Those new flats are a monstrosity. I wish they would have built solid brick tenements again. The walls were so thick you rarely heard your neighbour. I much appreciate the time you took on this. How do I make a donation. I have no bank details on my phone and I don't have paypal. How does it work? Have a great Sunday Paul! 🎉
@@ROUTEPLANNERPAUL Have a look at her channel Paul, she's a great singer and a friend of mine. Great video btw, I used to deliver to a load of garages further up Tolcross Rd. 👍👍
