Great video guys! I've always wanted to visit the Swiss Alps. The views are incredible! What a good girl Pepper is, quietly staying in your bag like that. You should get her a winter jacket, or a snowsuit. Most dogs here in Canada, because of our winters, are now wearing them. How would you compare the Swiss Alps to the Canadian Rockies?

So beautiful, it reminds me my honeymoon trip to Spain, Portugal, Morocco and Switzerland where I went up Titlist Glacier at 11000 feet dressed in summer clothing and ending up at top in snow storm.. After we had Swiss cheese Fondue at St Moritz... Really enjoy your videos Allison and Tim... 🤗🥂

16:21 I found out that once at altitude, the combination of the dry air and pressure change reduces our taste bud sensitivity. Also, our perception of saltiness and sweetness drops by around 30 percent at high altitudes.
Very interesting. I live at high altitude and I thought things tasted more salty up here!

The James Bond movie you're thinking of was shot at Piz Gloria, a similar peak in the same area from which you may view the mountains (the Jungfraujoch) that these two travellers were on. Piz Gloria features a revolving restaurant at the 9,740 feet high summit of the Schilthorn near Mürren in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. The Bond movie shot here was "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1963), in which it is the mountain-top hideout of the villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld. I visited Piz GLoria in 1983, while on a six month backpacking tour of 14 countries in Europe...next trip to Europe we'll be checking out this spot as well!

The 37 $ for the Harder Klum Look Out Point may be expensive but the stunning view that offers absolutely worth it . I mean where else are you going to see such a gorgeous landscape ?
Those birds are Alpine Clough. A type of crow. I have been there. The amenities have really been upped from my time there in the late 80’s when I was in the Air Force. We came back in the winter to ski the Eiger.

Call me crazy, but in the intro it was said you were staying in Interlaken but a shot of Lucerne is shown. Am I wrong?
Fondue 🫕? The traditional restaurants also have options like Beer Fondue, Prosecco Fondue. Those are a bit nicer. But the trick is to put salt, pepper and paprika on your plate, then once you’ve dipped the bread in the cheese, then you dab it on your plate and pick up the spices. That’s how you prevent it being bland. You’re welcome!

Besides the obvious comment of "Oh my gosh, so pretty!", I just wanted to say that I'm 5000% on board with your Mexican fondue idea. It sounds amazing! Just don't sue me if I open a Mexican/Swiss fusion restaurant with your idea.
Can you do a video on how to fly on a plane with a small dog like your little guy? Id love to take my dog on my trips!

@@timandfin Also, not to get too nitty gritty but I wonder how Pepper flies such long distances, then goes through customs, etc. with no potty breaks. How does she do it?? I love sweet Pepper and once had my own “Pepper” but she was a wire hair fox terrier. Love, love, love all your videos/blogs!
@@natalietyson9981 we def plan flights around her comfort. For example, we did red eye from Miami to Madrid to get to Europe. Pepper was able to stay on her normal schedule- she just thought she was going to sleep in a car. Madrid wasn’t a destination for us but it was the shortest flight we could take across the pond so it was better for her.
We also scout airports ahead of time- lots of them have pet relief areas.
Finally, fin had tsa pre and clear- well check bags, go through security, and send fin out last minute to take pep on a potty run before boarding.

We've been there and it is spectacular!. I just wish they would show more of the scenery instead of constantly doing selfies. Annoying.
This disney world on top of the Jungfraujoch is disrespectful to the mountain. Very disappointed. Swiss should do better. I don't know if is on top of the Matterhorn also Rolex shop?

Pepper super cute but watching her take a dump isn't. We were actually eating dinner during that scene so it was kind of crappy to see LOL.
