As a Swiss who grew up in Berne and spends several weeks per year in the Interlaken region I fully agree with all of your recommendations - useful resource of information! Does the Jungfraubahn still offer the discounted early-bird tickets? Another nice, less costly alternative in the region with beautiful views is Schynige Platte (you have mentioned it before as well).
The best tip that I can give to see Switzerland's scenic mountains on the cheap is to do what I did. Go when I was in my 30s, not wait until I'd retired well into my 70s! And as a bonus, what are now terribly restricting arthritic old bones, were then young and fit for hiking. Plus the prices were WAY cheaper than now. 😜😉😊
As it is not possible and as it is my first trip in my 60s, to have a taste of the Swiss mountains, I have to listen to practical bits of advice and not wait for the time machine building.😊☺
@@Loty2023 LOL Better late than never! 😜😂 Only further tip that I can give is be sure to put in a request for good weather! The sun on the Spring wildflowers and snowy peaks will probably make it worth all the extra money than that which I paid way back then. Enjoy! 😊

We stayed 3 days in Wengen and traveled to Jungfraujoch on May 6th so were lucky enough to be able to purchase the 3 day Jungfrau Region pass with the add on for Jungfraujoch for about $250 USD each. While planning out trip we did not realize that pass was going to end on May 11th!) We had a fantastic time at Jungraujoch with clear skies and cool but comfortable 30°fahrenheit weather. My husband has a fear of heights. Gondalas add to that fear. So for this reason, the Jungfraujoch was the right choice for us. He thoroughly enjoyed the trip up to the top on the train but agreed to go down via the large 20 person gondola, to Grindelwald because he could sit backwards, looking up at the mountain where we had been rather than looking down into the valley as we descended. (This way he avoided seeing high high off the ground we were.) I was so proud of him for facing his fear and going up with me and he was very proud of himself too. That is the day he tells everyone about when they ask about our trip. Those 3 days were an expensive part of our total trip, but totally worth it for this Florida couple. It's not for everyone, but it was right for us.
One of your best videos guys. Thanks a lot for creating such amazing stuff. Basis your advice didn't went to Top of Europe as I had already covered Mt Titlis during my Swiss visit in Nov-Dec 2022. So in the spare day, went to Rigi Kulm from Zurich and the whole journey was awesome and can never forget it. A train from Zurich to Arth Goldau and from there a toy train to Rigi Kulm and on the return a train to Vitznau and from there a Cruise to Lucerne was beyond words. All these rides was able to cover on a Saver Day Pass Will like to cover places in my next trip (hopefully sooner than later) as mentioned in this video like Glacier Paradise and Brienzer Rothorn. Thanks a lot. You guys really rock....
Just came back from my 10 days trip from Swizerland and i can confirm that Jungfraujoch not worth the money and time. Couple of reasons based on my personal experience. 1- Very costly. 2- If you go during early Spring even till May end like i was there last week you wont get a chance to explore it. Snow activity area that also lead for hike to other area was closed due to SNOW. Staff mentioned if we have too much SNOW then we are not open. 2- If you cant get out of the building then why would you go in crowded place just to see everything from glass windows and nothing else. I know on SPINX terrace we have small open area but it is over crowded. My suggestion is to go to Kleine Scheidegg/Eigergletscher and go outside and see the beautify. My fav was Grindalwald First.
Thanks for the great suggestions! I just got back from a September visit and the highlights were definitely The Schlithorn as well as the Glacier Paradise. I would also add Gornergrat as a highlight due to the beautiful train ride up, the altitude, the views, and all the great hiking/biking possibilities. Only passed through Interlaken and barely got out of the car due to the swarms of tourists. Thanks to your suggestions, we avoided Jungfraujoch entirely and don't feel that we missed a thing! Can't wait to come back some day.
Thank you very much, guys !! I have a weekend all to myself in Basel next month. Figured ill do a day trip to Liechtenstein on the Saturday and then ill hit up one of these options on the sunday of that weekend.
I agree with your recommendations. Plus "Altitude Feeling" for me is actually a con. I get sick, and it's not worth traveling to the Top of Europe if you're just going to sit there, waiting for the train to get you down again. We even spent a night in Wengen and interlaken first to get acclimated, but if you're prone to altitude sickness, I guess just don't go up there, full stop.
Shhhhhh! You gave away the best kept secret--the Stanserhorn. ;) Love this place; the ride up is such fun a, the views are incredible, and it's not overrun by tourists. (Another is the Fronalpstock on the other side of Lake Luzern. The funicular up to Stoos is included with the Swiss Travel Pass, but you'll pay a moderate fee of about 27chf for the chairlift to the top (or you can hike up!) The views on the way up and at the very top are spectacular.
One tip for Wengen and Mureen . There are carts for luggage right as you get off train. Easy to get to hotel even if you have to walk a bit . And in Interlaken and Lauterbrunnen there are big lockers at train station to store heavy items if you want to do a a day trip exploration.
Thanks guys! We’re coming to Jungfrau region in our campervan from the UK in June. Very useful. Love all your vids, they are really informative and you really showcasing the beauty of CH !!
One thing people should think about, how do you react to altitude? You can have amazing views at a little lower altitude. I live at 6000 ft/1829 meters in New Mexico (SW US). But I feel that walking around at even 10K/3000 meters can be challenging. I've had friends who got altitude sick visiting me. I got altitude sick to snowshoeing around 3000 meters. It is no fun and can be life threatening. I'm sure Swiss doctors are excellent at treating it, but you might try doing these things because everyone is different. A little bit lower altitude might actually allow you to enjoy your time more. You can still do a lot of great activities. (BTW, young children aren't immune. I know of someone who took his child hiking in Colorado which is a very mountainous US state and his child got altitude sick and he didn't.)
Thank you 🙏 I prefer all the other options to the top that you recommended I visited Jungfraujoch many years ago and was disappointed - overrated for the price I paid You both are the Best Advisers ❤️✨👏✨👍
Hi guys! Thank you so much for your videos! I love them, they are the best. And so good to find out that this year 2023, the top of the world pass is no longer available. So confusing, I kept looking for it, and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. Now it makes sense. So, now I don't know for sure what one to get. And thanks to the info of this video, I really don't think we need to do top of Europe. We do want to avoid crowds, but want the views and some hiking. We are 2 older ladies in our 60's, but still very active and want to do a lot of hiking. We will have 10 days, 3 in Alpenzell, 2 in Lucerne, and 4 staying in Lautenbrunnen. We will have a rental car. We want to do hiking in all places, and seeing all we can do. Which pass would you recommend for us?
Yet another great video, thank you both! Thanks to your previous videos I had budgeted for the Berneroberland pass with Jungfraujoc point to point supplement so thanks to your advice I can still afford to go to JFJ!
Thank you ! This is amazing! I've decided to buy the Bernese Oberland pass and focus on the jungfraujoch region. Never wanted to do the top of Europe thing. Now you have given me more assurance I'm buying the right pass. Will definitely take a look at your itineraries. I'm going in early September. I wonder if anyone can advise me on the temperature difference on ground and at these higher altitudes.
I just returned from Switzerland staying in Wengen. I did not go to the top of Europe although it was offered because I am sensitive to altitude changes. I just enjoyed viewing the mountain from Klein schidegg.
As I wrote before on a similar video of yours, Wagner walked alone from Interlaken to Lauterbrünnen, up to the Wengernalp - ‘where you can touch the Jungfrau with your hands,’ he wrote!
This is a sold video. My family and I come from the UK every few years or so for the last 10-15 years, and have had a much more pleasant experience in some of these other options. Less of a blow to the ol' wallet as well I might add!!!
Niesen is also a great option comparable with Männlichen but the ride is free on your birthday. Another free option with the Swiss travel card would be the Rochers-de-Naye near Montreux above Lake Geneva.
Hi @TheTravekingSwiss I have time for a 1 day trip from Zurich in late October, what would be the best alternative if reason to visit Jungfraujoch was the amazing snowy landscape (also never been on snow) plus a little bit about the thrills or adventure?
The entire region is absolutely beautiful ! You can’t go wrong. Just make sure to budget correctly if the Jungfraujoch is for you, otherwise there are many great alternatives
Mürren is the ideal location for a holiday with small children. If they get too cantankerous there is always the sheer rim of the former glacial valley to drop them off! 😜😱 😁
Hi I am from India but living in south Africa I got motivated with your videos and came to Switzerland on 13th of august where can I meet you if possible.
Hi Louis and Alexis, I’m going to Switzerland this weekend and staying for almost two weeks! I was curious how we would get the ticket to go to Schilthorn from Interlaken? I was assuming I’d just use the SBB app and get a round trip ticket or buy a ticket at the Interlaken station, but watching some videos it seems people have a physical card to scan? So I wasn’t sure if it’s cause they bought ticket in person at a station closer to Schilthorn (like Lauterbrunnen), or if I’d just scan the ticket in the SBB app/ticket bought at the Interlaken station? Also the weather predictions for the next two weeks seem to be pretty rainy in Switzerland :( I was wondering how accurate are weather predictions days in advance (like a week in advance) and if the weather can change pretty fast? Thanks a lot!!
Hello. We love your videos so far. It is so helpful for us. Just a quick question. we only have a half-fare card and planning to go to Interlaken and also do th Grindelwald first walk. Do you think we still need to buy the Jungfrau travel pass or is the half fare card enough? Thank you so much.
I'm gonna visit Swiss in first week of April 2024, I'm not going to Jungfraujoch however, I intend to goes around this route: Start from Lauterbrunnen/Wengen/Kleine Scheidegg/Eigergletscher then back from Eigergletcher to Grindelwald by Eiger Express. I'm using OBP to cover all. I wonder is it cover from Kleine Scheidegg to Eigergletscher and anything to do at Eigergletcher? I can't hike at beginning of April, they close road. Thank you
Hi there. Are you to able advise on how you use your Swiss travel pass to Rigi Klum? I can’t find anything online about booking the boat from Lucerne. Thanks 🙂
Hello, since now we need to purchase separate ticket for Jungfraujoch, what would you recommend to get it cheaper? Thank you for your hard work to make these videos
Thank you for posting this, we are visiting in June and this will help us plan!!! Does your Interlaken & Jungfrau Region itinerary cover these areas as well?
What do you think of the Bürgenstock? I haven't seen you mention it in your videos, maybe I missed it. Is it worth ascending "the highest outdoor lift in Europe"? I believe a catamaran trip from Lucerne is included in the cost.
Hi Alexis & Louis, for all the peaks you have introduced, are the mountains (or the cable car / gondola) closed during winter ? I recalled I followed a tour group to Aiguille du Midi and most of the cable cars (except one) were closed for maintenance. i think i went around Oct/Nov period. thanks
Thanks so much for this video! Super useful. We will be in the area in late June and are traveling light (carryon only). Is there a place to rent warm jackets/hats etc if it's super cold?
Take a wind/waterproof jacket, a pair of gloves & a beanie hat & you should be fine. When I was there in early July it was 6C in the wind, 16C out of the wind and -3C in the Ice palace. Wear shoes with a good grip.
When riding the mountain coasters or zip lines in Grindelwald, do they allow you to take your backpacks with you or are there lockers available? Thanks!
Hello from Australia! We have watched so many of your videos. We are wanting to do a day trip from Lucerne and visit the top but also do a hike (if time) from Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg. Is it cheaper to buy a single ticket and add on the extra gondola prices or buy the pass? We are visiting in mid June. Not sure what the individual gondola prices are?
Thank you! Question: how much does the Swiss Travel Pass? What I understand- do I need to pay For Jungfrau Return extra CHF 160 when I have Swiss Travel Pass? Or If I have Eurail/Interail pass - I need to pay extra CHF179.40? Am I correct?
A little bit disappointed that you didn't mention Pilatus since I'm planning to go there and was hoping I will see it on the list😅 but other than that great video!
Ok thanks for the reply! :) I was just starting to have second thoughts because I figured if you as a local are not mentioning it, it means it's also overrated maybe😅

Hi we are off to Camping Jungfrau 1st week of July staying for 5 days. We have 2 dogs with us Staffordshire bull terriers. We love to know what the situation on transport for dogs is like. Also dog friendly walks places to go with dogs. Love the information you give regarding Switzerland.
Well my only experience was being in Switzerland for 2 weeks last fall, and I will say.. I saw dogs everywhere. Much more dog friendly than the US, and all dogs seemed very well trained. Once or twice I saw someone bring a dog onto a train or tram and stay in the luggage area with them. It might only be certain train cars, I’m not sure. As far as dog breeds, I don’t know if any breeds are banned there. Someone from Switzerland will have to help you more, sorry.. hope you have a wonderful trip.
You can assume your dog is welcome unless there is a sign saying otherwise. The Swiss are very dog friendly. Welcome on public transport (sometimes dogs require a ticket). Same countryside rules as UK in that dog needs to be on a leash when in a protected area or there is livestock present. If in doubt ask. The Swiss are happy to help. You will enjoy your trip. The Jungfrau area is a little bit of heaven on Earth.
My daughter was looking forward to sledding (at the end of September/beginning of October) and seeing the Ice Palace. Would Mt. Titlis be a good alternative? Bought both of your itineraries for Lucerne and Interlaken. They are invaluable, and I highly recommend them to anyone planning to visit those areas.
This evaluation is even too generous.. If you want to go to a sort of theme park on a mountain top, without ever needing to go outside and feel the mountain, this is for you
So if you only had 2 weeks to spend in CH and you had never been before, what would you suggest seeing? We love nature, food, history. Have children! Ages 4, 7, 11, 14. That knowledge might help to answer better. 😁
Hi Alexis and Louis we are planning to go to Switzerland in 3 Aug 2023 and will be there for 6 to 7 days. Please help us with our travel to all attractions by public transportation and the cost. We will be also going to Italy. Is there away to contact you.
Yes there will be snow all year there, the Titlis in Engelberg, the Schilthorn, and mittelallalin will all have snow all year. Once you're over 3,000 meters or so you can generally expect permafrost
@@TheTravelingSwiss Thank you so much for your reply! That sounds great. My wife and I are planning to go next year during Spring and we are hoping to be able to just walk/play with snow. Which one would you recommend for a beautiful view and also the chance to walk around the snow?
I think you can take a train to Kleine Scheidegg and hike to Männlichen from there. I've never done this hike but I think it's a bit uphill and about 1 1/2 hours long? Anyone knows for sure? The last segment, where that 360-degree viewing balcony is located, is definitely an uphill hike. And then you have to hike back 🙂
I am planning to stay in lucern for 3 nights, and planning to buy Swiss travel pass in early August. Mount pilatus or Mount titlis, which to prefer to see snowy mountains better view. Thanks
What is the discounted amount to top of Europe if I have the berner oberland pass. Also does the top of europe pass have to be booked for a specific date? What if we book in advance and the weather is not good that day.. please help
I am going there just for a day, is it worth to buy pass? how much will it cost From GRINDELWALD station to just Eiger station not to Jungfraujoch without any kind of pass? Also how expensive is local train ride like GRINDELWALD to Interlanken etc? Thank you
Traveling to Interlaken in April and looks like the Top of Europe pass is available until the end of April 2023 along with the regional pass. Is this correct? We don't want to purchase if it goes away before then but if it's still available through April, we would add that. If not ~ all of these options are really helpful foe our four day trip to the region..
3:54 Hahaha! A couple of years ago I went to Niesen (the big pyramid mountain near Spiez and Interlaken). I mentioned it to my hotel owner's son and he said: "I've never been there" (he is about 40). Well, obviously, you live there so you can always go, so you forever postpone it because... why not? Hehe. So, Louis, , have you ever been to Niesen? 🙂The funicular up is awesome because it appears to not have changed since the 1960s maybe? An old creaky Von Roll affair with all doors manual and looking and sounding exactly like I remember from growing up in Poland (we have funiculars too!) years ago. The only obvious upgrade is that the old hand-cranked emergency break (a large metal "steering" wheel in front and back) has been replaced by something automatic. The track still makes those 1960s rythmic clangs at each joint, it's simply _fabulous._ It's also the longest funicular in the world (I think)? But for a tourist on a fixed time schedule Niesen is probably not worth it as similar views exist from peaks closer to Interlaken.
Was it scary? I wish I would have known about it.. we stayed in Spiez. Next time.. I already have a long list of things to do next time 😃 can’t wait to go back!
im a little confused i was planning to get the half card and berland oberlin pass based on where we’re staying for most of the trip. so if u want to go to top of europe it’s just more expensive but not called the top of europe pass?
The Berner Oberland pass price gets you the discounted price of 99CHF for the trip to the Jungfraujoch. From what I understand The Top of Europe pass has been discontinued. The attraction is called Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe. I did this trip July 22 & it was good fun, not too busy & an escape from the summer heat in the valley.
Hello. I are still see Tickets on SBB. Is that not the safe? Ok. I posted comment before watching the video. What’s a day trip option from Zurich if guests are limited in time and don’t mind the 6hour round trip?
I was thinking the same too, with my swiss travel pass, can't I just make reservations on the sbb website from interlaken to jungfraujoch? Aren't the sbb train rides included in my swiss pass
The top of Europe pass is discontinued this summer! You can buy them to use in March or April but then they are gone! The you’ll need to buy specific point to point tickets
@@cnuploads I don't have the top of europe pass but i have the swiss travel pass. Is booking the tickets on sbb website not gonna work in this case? (Interlaken -> Jungfraujoch)
@@lamja you'll pay a slightly reduced fare with the Swiss travel pass as mentioned in the video, doesn't matter how you book the ticket. Jungfraujoch isn't included in the pass, you just get a small discount.
How do they get away with calling it the top!??? This feels like a scam!! I was showing everyone my photos from "the tallest mountain in europe" ...... ugh

Thankful i was able to go to Top of Europe before price hike.
Huge help! Thank you so much! We’re coming in June. Some of the other options actually look better to us and less money. ❤
Very nice upload!👍👍👍
Smacked my head up at Jungfraujoch twice at the ice palace 🤣 😂
We are going with a travel company. I am going to check out your itineraries. I have watched you video concerning weather and what to pack.
I particularly liked staying at the Victoria Jungfrau to enjoy the spa treatments
it is a spectacular hotel! Louis' grandfather used to be on their board of directors funny enough!
Niesen is also a great option comparable with Männlichen but the ride is free on your birthday.
Another free option with the Swiss travel card would be the Rochers-de-Naye near Montreux above Lake Geneva.
Wow, the Jungfraujoch is very cold.
I went in January, it was great!
Thank you soo much!! ❤️
Hi @TheTravekingSwiss I have time for a 1 day trip from Zurich in late October, what would be the best alternative if reason to visit Jungfraujoch was the amazing snowy landscape (also never been on snow) plus a little bit about the thrills or adventure?
thank you so much for this video!! Do any of these other options open in November 2024? thanks
you guys are my go to for switzerland travel
We love to hear it! :))
Great recommendations! FYI if you go early it’s only additional 60 CHF with the berner oberland pass + half fare card.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by "go early". Reserve your tickets early or go early in the day?
When you go early in the day
This is super helpful!
Unfortunately it seems the way to Männlichen (from Grindelwald and Wengen) is closed in early May when I'll be there🙁
Same is the case with Schynige Platte and Brienzer Rothorn, I presume.
Nooooooooooo!!!! What are one's choices then😖
Which one is the best for this december? Only have less than 2 days in Zurich
I just wanna cry now. I'm planning a may trip in the Jungfrau region. 😭😭
The entire region is absolutely beautiful
! You can’t go wrong. Just make sure to budget correctly if the Jungfraujoch is for you, otherwise there are many great alternatives
I'm also planning a trip on may in the jungfru, but the prices is too much 😢😢
Thank you so much for this! We're staying in Mürren with a 4-year-old, and I finally feel like I won't be missing out if we skip Jungfraujoch.
Mürren is the ideal location for a holiday with small children. If they get too cantankerous there is always the sheer rim of the former glacial valley to drop them off! 😜😱 😁
Any plans for a Zermatt itinerary? Great video as always!
It’s in the final stages now! We’re going to launch it this weekend!
Hi I am from India but living in south Africa I got motivated with your videos and came to Switzerland on 13th of august where can I meet you if possible.
Wow amazing
Do you suggest mount pilatus ?
Hi from St. Gallen to Männilichen there seem to be no saver day passes
Just done the jungfraujoch
I loved it...
I didn't even count the money I spent, in case that makes me sad.😂
Does your Interlaken & Jungfrau Region itinerary cover these areas as well?
they do! They include a few options and alternative schedules as well depending on your interest / budget
Thanks!
How would you compare Jungfrau to Mount Titlis?
Hi! For those who still want to go to jungfrau, do you have a link where we can purchase the ticket?
Hello from Australia! We have watched so many of your videos. We are wanting to do a day trip from Lucerne and visit the top but also do a hike (if time) from Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg. Is it cheaper to buy a single ticket and add on the extra gondola prices or buy the pass? We are visiting in mid June. Not sure what the individual gondola prices are?
Mount Titlis .?
Is it not on the recommendation ..? ;)
Thank you! Question: how much does the Swiss Travel Pass? What I understand- do I need to pay For Jungfrau Return extra CHF 160 when I have Swiss Travel Pass?
Or
If I have Eurail/Interail pass - I need to pay extra CHF179.40?
Am I correct?
A little bit disappointed that you didn't mention Pilatus since I'm planning to go there and was hoping I will see it on the list😅 but other than that great video!
Pilatus is also great! There are so many amazing mountains in Switzerland it’s hard to cover them all!
Ok thanks for the reply! :) I was just starting to have second thoughts because I figured if you as a local are not mentioning it, it means it's also overrated maybe😅
Hi Alex. I am from Australia. I am coming to Geneva 8 June 2023. Stay 7 days. I like to visit interlaken Zermatt Berns jungfraujoch and visit to Geneva. Also I need to get the train from Geneva airport to martingy and back to airport. What is the best train ticket? Swiss travel pass is economic and cheaper to buy or any other cheaper pass ?I am 61 years old do you think I can manage to go up on the hill jungfroujoch without feel sick? Is it worth go that high altitude ? Any other mountain worth to visit? Please give me some tips 🙏🙏 as I am travelling by my self too🙏🙏
is saver day pass included mountain rigi?
Would you say 6 minutes is enough time to change trains in Visp?
Definitely, the station is not that big!
Great video! Brienzer Rothorn vs Schynige Platte, which would you say is overall a more worth it peak to visit?
Breinzer Rothorn
Wish I saw your advice before going last week. Loved First - would definitely go there a second time instead.
hello travel teacher .How are you .i like this video .information video .benefit video .i like it .snow falling mountain is very beautiful Nature of Switzerland is very very excellent and beautiful .I am very excited to see Switzerland .🏖🏝🏜🏞🏔🏠🏡🌄🏖🏝🏜🏞🏔🌄🌧🌦☔ Thank you so much make this video god bless you lovely lovely couple 🌹🎸🕯💕🌹🎸🕯💕🌹🎸🕯💕🌹🎸🕯💕🌹🎸🕯💕🌹🎸🕯💕🌹🎸🕯💕good video good work good country good city good village I love it.🌟👌🌟👌🌟👌🌟👌🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭bye bye switzerland 👋👋👋👋👋🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰pakistan lahore. . . . . . . . . .
I have same query
Hi! I have the same question...did you get to go to Mt Titlis? I was planning to go soon!!! And hope its worth it :)
This evaluation is even too generous.. If you want to go to a sort of theme park on a mountain top, without ever needing to go outside and feel the mountain, this is for you
Jungfrau pass that includes lakes boats as well, i cnt find it. It only saying 1 day ticket.
Does it also snow all year round on the Klein Matterhorn like it does on the top of Europe?
Yes there will be snow all year there, the Titlis in Engelberg, the Schilthorn, and mittelallalin will all have snow all year. Once you're over 3,000 meters or so you can generally expect permafrost
@@TheTravelingSwiss Thank you so much for your reply! That sounds great. My wife and I are planning to go next year during Spring and we are hoping to be able to just walk/play with snow. Which one would you recommend for a beautiful view and also the chance to walk around the snow?
👍💯❤️
I'm going to Switzerland in May. I'm wondering how can I go to Mannlichen when cable car/gondola is still closed?
I'm going in May 2nd week....I think the only way is to hike from Wengen... Might take around 2.5 hours to reach
@@sushruttalekar Oh! Thank you
I think you can take a train to Kleine Scheidegg and hike to Männlichen from there. I've never done this hike but I think it's a bit uphill and about 1 1/2 hours long? Anyone knows for sure? The last segment, where that 360-degree viewing balcony is located, is definitely an uphill hike. And then you have to hike back 🙂
Why Mount Titlis is not included?
I am planning to stay in lucern for 3 nights, and planning to buy Swiss travel pass in early August.
Mount pilatus or Mount titlis, which to prefer to see snowy mountains better view.
Thanks
More snowy mountains arount M Titlis…. Mountains, lakes, hills, villages around Mt Pilatus. Pilatus is closer to Lucerne.
Hi is that top of Europe or top highest train stations in Europe. Isn’t monte blanc?
1:33 Hi guys…. Plz advise which Swiss mountain peaks has national flag other than Jungfraujoch
All of them do!
What is the discounted amount to top of Europe if I have the berner oberland pass. Also does the top of europe pass have to be booked for a specific date? What if we book in advance and the weather is not good that day.. please help
99 CHF is the discounted rate with the pass. They recommend booking in advance to ensure your spot during high season
If not ~ all of these options are really helpful foe our four day trip to the region..
same! we are going at the end of March and it still seems avaliable?
Next time.. I already have a long list of things to do next time 😃 can’t wait to go back!
im a little confused i was planning to get the half card and berland oberlin pass based on where we’re staying for most
of the trip. so if u want to go to top of europe it’s just more expensive but not called the top of europe pass?
@@cnuploads ah thanks!
@@lamja you'll pay a slightly reduced fare with the Swiss travel pass as mentioned in the video, doesn't matter how you book the ticket. Jungfraujoch isn't included in the pass, you just get a small discount.
Highest mountain is the peak not where a train can travel
It is actually Mount Rosa on the Italian Border
Mont Blanc is the highest peak in the alps
I am going to Switzerland for the first time. Is it worth visiting Jungfraujoch at least once or no?
How do they get away with calling it the top!??? This feels like a scam!! I was showing everyone my photos from "the tallest mountain in europe" ...... ugh
