Eric Kripke originally did plan this show as a five season show, which is why they are all a big master plan story. Then it was left open to potentially continue if everyone wanted it to. Kripke just moved on after this for the most part. It was still a fun show to watch though for 10 more seasons. In my opinion I thought the first five were the best but it was always great watching the Winchester's story continue.
The first time I saw it.. I thought he disappeared cuz his purpose of writing the Winchester gospel for heaven ended with the end of apocalypse. Little did I know.. this was actually a hint😅
You are right, this was supposed to be the end. My 1st car was a 67 Impala but it was the color of the first car they showed coming off the line, but a 2 door. I wish I still had that car. The Devil told Sam, in the episode that Ellen & Jo was killed, that he would say yes in Detroit, within 6 months. This episode aired just before 6 months from that one. These guys really had an eye for detail. Which you will notice throughout the next 10 seasons. When the Devil told Sam he would bet a "fiddle of gold against his soul" that's a line from a Charlie Daniels Band song called The Devil Went Down To Georgia, where the Devil was behind in collecting souls so he bet a young man his soul against his own fiddle made of gold. Great song. You should check it out. Did you notice that Chuck was no longer in his bathrobe at the end? He was dressed in a nice shirt. I know you saw him poof. What did that mean? Sam's back???? The show was renewed in February, so I wonder how much they could've rewritten for the next season. Maybe Sam was added at the end. Who knows. It was great!! The cast & crew really looked like the had a blast. In all their interviews they said it was a lot of fun. Even the people that weren't regulars said it was a fun set to work on & everyone was very nice. Dean just letting Lucifer wail on him so Sam wasn't alone was so heart wrenching. I loved your reaction, as always. See you on the next one. 👵❤☮
Lol I am assuming you saw Chuck disappear while you were editing... This is probably the best episode of the series. No complaints whatsoever and Sam taking control after seeing his life with Dean - so emotional... The true ending would have had Castiel and and Bobby both staying dead and Sam wouldn't have made a cameo at the end. I'm sure you've noticed but it's crazy how the colour grade immediately changed after this season. It's much more saturated from here on out
Well there you go, the best 5 seasons of television ever created!!! Ok that is my opinion anyways. Great reaction as usual and yes this was hard for the fans... not knowing how Kripke really wanted this 'story' to end but so glad that it was continuing even if we were scared of how that was going to happen with less of his involvement. I look forward to watching you continue on.
Anyone telling you the last 10 seasons aren't that great, i'd have to disagree. I honestly place most of it above season 1 and 2. Seemed very hit and miss to me. Three was much better then 4 and 5 are pure gold.
It was a good ending. I think it would've been an appropriate series ending. In my opinion the seasons after this are... not as good. But I'm sure you'll make up your own mind about that.
No matter how many times I watch this episode it makes me cry.
Had the series actually ended with "Swan Song", Supernatural would have literally been the perfect show.
Idk about that tbh

I don't know how many people I've seen react to this episode, only to look down or away from the screen right as Chuck disappears.

That's "Rock of Ages" by Def Leppard Dean blasting to interrupt the grudge match. Hell of an entrance. They sure know how to pick music on this show.

What a wonderful reaction to one of the best finales in television. I truly enjoyed you with this.
7:16 Bless you.
Ever since I saw this episode years ago, I make it a point that every time I molotov somebody, I call them "assbutt" first. :)
12:41 She looked down at the wrong time.
I backed it up in the uncut reaction.
The prophet chuck dissappeared at the end
Don't worry. Seasons 6 and 7 are awesome too
C'est tellement une fin fantastique.
What a thrill, I'm preparing my fries to watch your video 😁😁

after ,season 5 i will say i do lose some interest . . 9 and 10 have their moments. . but then season 11 usually grabs me again
Season 1+2 are the BEST supernatural seasons. Season 1 over Season 2 even
@@ysup8674 That's actual lore. And legends. Badass af.
15:30-15:35 Supernatural might change that 😀
Might 😂
Hey Assbutt! Great reaction.
As far as I'm concerned, this IS the ending of the series.
The rest is just weird post-credits bonus scenes.
I really think this would be the perfect ending for the show but im glad it wasnt n i watched all seasons 😅
Great reaction girl

I agree.
