Wow! Large scale indoors in a wonderful building. The track work is very complex in spots. Kudos to the builders of this fantastic model railroad! Cheers from Syracuse, NY
The blue prototype Deltic. Just as I remember it about 1960 at Doncaster. Made a right racket parked in the up-side platform for a few hours around lunchtime, waiting for its return trip to K X. :-). Perfectly modelled! Thanks. Now, where are my notebooks? 😂
Just WOW !!! Don’t know where to start with how absolutely fantastic this is….the dedication, time and commitment to bring this to life is truly next level…beautiful work…would love to see it up close
Although I'm ignorant to UK railway knowledge, this layout blows away any American layout I have amever visited! I'm also an O scale 2 railer and I think this is unbelievably one of the most beautifully detailed train layouts out there!
Could not resist the title!!!! Apart from Sinatra, this took me back to the 60's, when on 0-0 gauge(?) my older brother and I would run the Christmas Eve Special! He hooked up his British trains to mine, led by a Candian Pacific...with a real light! Cool I'd say. All, in our little boxroom, upstairs, in a little terraced house with no bath and an outside toilet. Behind us marshalling yards, and a slaughterhouse, to our right we had our only lovely Catholic neighbours and to our left a Guiness brewery. But as Coproal Jones would say "but they were good times"...............thank you John Ryan.....oh ..by the way.....that train, that train...... ran all night ..until Santa Claus came in, when we had fallen asleep at our posts...and he turned off the power......that burning/acrid smell of over-heated transformers! Thank you all for posting. Magniicent! I can still dream of a mancave one day, can't I?
Fantastic! You should invite Pete Waterman round. I'm sure he'd enjoy himself. Spent a lot of time in the summers during the 1960's in Lower Peover when Uncle Fred worked for the Bibby's. He lived in Snelson. Super place. Regards Stephen.
@@michaelnutt3727 oh I know, I bought my first 2 rail O scale freight car at a train show and I've been hooked ever since! I'm an HO guy converting so I can use my knowledge of dcc
Simply amazing, thank you for sharing your layout. All your hard work is much appreciated. I’m hoping to return to modeling soon, only a 30 year gap, can’t wait!
I must add my congratulations on the quality of this stunning layout which, somehow, I hadn't seen before. A North Eastern layout in the north west though - how about a few "guest" LNWR trains? I'm not a massive fan of diesels, but the sight and sound of that blue Deltic at the head of the maroon BR Mk1s is absolutely stunning.
What a great layout! The only problem with sound in steam loco's is that it's near impossible to get the "chuff" rate exact and consistent, but that doesn't detract from the overall scheme and hard work that has obviously gone into this masterpiece 😎👍
@@dgall3794 no they are models. The price goes up exponentially. A small O gauge loco can run you up around £200. They have rolling stock too, multiple engines. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the engines cost 1000. Plus track, any pre-made scenery they may have bought, and work hours.
I haven't watched this video in a while, and your comment brought me here. First thing in the video an A4 with smoke! That's 1000 right there definitely. Plus a full rake of coaches. Also a special probably heated building built for purpose.
@@dgall3794 sooo why are you here? This is pretty niche stuff. It doesn't get recommend on peoples home pages unless they are interested in this stuff.

It's like going into a cicle of African Americans and saying black people suck. It's just a stupid thing to do, and you just did it. And I'm pretty sure most people with more than 2 braincells (this excludes you) will realise that these aren't just toys. And will see the work and dedication to the craft displayed. The layout seems to have gotten even larger than before - I see a new industrial area beyond Over Peover station, and what appears to be a new scenic section along the opposite wall in the general area of the Fiddle Yard (please correct me if I am wrong). It all looks spectacular.
I am from India I am fascinated with the layout and working model trains....and realistic tracks...looking awesome...which country and place is this..I would like to visit this place..and where do I get these trains for me to buy it
Finally someone who gets the track and ballast the right colour. The view on 2.45 shows this stunning trackwork. Congratulations.
This man's commitment to excellence is super-human. Beautiful!
The sound, the movement, the details. What a fantastic work of art. 👍
What a truly fantastic layout !. The effort that has gone into producing this is immense.
Simply amazing. Thanks to all who constructed this layout and keep it running, and thanks for posting the video. Utterly fantastic.
Utterly fantastic, I didn't know that such incredible layouts exist.
Thanks to everybody who brought us this beautiful layout.
Excellent all round. The grass effect is the best I've seen, and so also is the engine smoke effect.
I find so much relaxation and calmness to watching these sort of videos. Amazing set up and organisation

Absolutely superb.....so well done
I'd almost chop the odd finger off to get my hands on this. Just perfect....LMS, & the Diesel....fabulous layout.
What a magnificent layout. Nothing like O Gauge for realism.
You’re spot on! I find myself looking at the and buildings more than the actual trains!.......so real.

Wonderful. The A4's passing each other with smoke looked fabulous, and the DMU at the end sounded very realistic. Beautiful layout, thank you.
What a triumph! Beyond art.
Great to see another new video of this outstanding layout, more welcome.
2:55 - Those trains for many years - the real versions, that is - ran on the Darlington to Saltburn and the Esk Valley lines to Whitby!
A superb railway and brilliantly filmed. Congratulations to all concerned,
Doncaster rovers plaque, we made some great locos in the plant works.. 👍
Most amazing train collection I’ve ever seen . I see Burlington Northern all the time in Fargo/ Moorhead.
Great atmosphere, I can almost smell the smoke !
This is an amazing layout, thanks for posting this!
Life goals. Simply awesome to watch and look at.
Absolutely amazing...and very impressive too...and the right railway....😅..wow...love it ❤...i'll stop now...

Incredible detail. Amazing.
Amazing layout. I am so envious.
This is fantastic John
super camera work. lots of effort. very slick
Very good. I wasn't even aware that there was O gauge available without that hokey, unrealistic third rail.
I really love these videos, they look so pleasing
Best I have ever seen, Brilliant...
Love the 3-cylinder exhausts!
Like the Deltic sounds - really good
All I can say is WOW!!
Beautiful!
A masterpiece... Pete Waterman eat your heart out... 😆
Great work....amazing track work
great camera work. was filming it just as if it was a real railway line.
Absolutely fabulous
Move over Pete Waterman, superb.
European train layout and the sounds with it .it makes the layout top of the line.
Very well done, excellent job, glad to see the trains run to scale instead of Lionel speed
Who mass produces O gauge stuff in the UK? I've yet to find anything. Seems like only special one off builds🤷♂️
The best layout iv'e ever seen !!!
Absolutely awesome….!!!!
This is fabulous!!!
Magnificent. O in the King of Guages
This amazing!!
Hi just found your channel I think you have an amazing railway ,see you next time 👍
it is truly amazing the size wow!!!!!!
At 2:35 I was expecting the two 'gangers' to jump when the horn sounded.
Wow! Fantastic layout. Pure realism.
It`s absolutly so great!👌

Is that what we would call 2rail O scale in Arizona USA???...😊😊
