It sounds like Prince Charles and Princess Diana had a lot in common when it came to genuinely supporting charities. It makes me wish they would’ve made it together
Diana deliberately steered public attention away from Charles Charity work by promoting herself first and using the media to highlight her profile. So much so that a whole younger generation of people have no idea about Charles decades long Charity work. They were not a good team. Diana was competing with Charles. Also interesting to note that when Diana was stripped of her HRH she immediately dropped 100 of her Charities overnight in what could only be described as an act of petulance. These Charities lost millions of dollars the moment she withdrew her patronage. So where was her caring and charitable kindness is the making of that decision and letting these Charities down so badly. Diana had made a sweeping announcement that her reason for dropping these Charities was because she wanted to step back and live a more private life! However within weeks she had relaunched herself into the stratosphere as a jetsetting Celebrity. At least Charles has always shown true dedication to his work!
There are a lot of reasons why one might criticise the then-Prince Charles, however, one area where I will always gush with praise for him is the Prince's Trust. That trust is arguably the greatest thing he's ever achieved, and that's saying something, because he's accomplished a lot in his time.
King Charles might like it 😅 his marriage failed , but it doesn’t mean that he’s a bad guy. His trust did help a lot of teenagers and Charles prefer to name himself as defender of all faith, advocated for religion freedom .

King Charles is so under appreciated. I recall that back in 2008 when the prime minister refused to meet the Dalai Lama during his visit to the UK for fear of angering China, it was Charles who defiantly stepped up and invited him to Clarence House. Diana was never the only humanitarian in that marriage.
