This gives +15% Resist Magic. Combine with Savior's Hide (15% Resist Magic), and Greater Magic Resistance from the Alteration skill tree. (+30% Resist Magic). Laugh at the silly magic users as their spells tickle you before serving them a meal of cold steel. Flip those dragons the bird as their breath attacks either warm or cool you slightly. Get them to donate some bones and scales.
@@Amir_Abdoullaev True, but I think the effects of Magic Resistance caps at 85%, so being Breton doesn't really tip any scales... unless one likes Breton for their roleplaying, of course. ;)
Breton 25% resist. Saviors hide 15% maras blessing 15% ring and necklace 2×15% = the 85% resist cap. Being a Breton makes a huge difference on legendary.
@@accaziahs.180 True, but with 100 Enchant you can get 25% Magic Resist on an item, along with another enchantment if you choose the right perks. Takes a bit more effort than choosing Breton, though!
Yeah, because as we all know, all the other quests in Skyrim universally give you awesome, completely game-changing rewards that are definitely better and more helpful than a permanent passive buff
Do people actually play this game or just turn it on and stare st the scenery the games almost ten years old i knew this a week into the game being out. Wheres the meteor this level of stupidity deserves an extinction event
It's 13 years old but has had many Added DLCs wich has given it new life. Many people have not played the game and are starting to play it. A game could be played by many generations.
This is an extremely easily missable quest and one that even if found is often overlooked because “random unremarkable priest asks you to do some busy work” wont typically be the kind of quest hook that will make players think the reward will be good.
The game is actually 13 years old, and some of us have just recently started playing. I didn't have the chance to play it when it first came out, I just got it last year. So yeah, some of us still have a lot to discover.

And being a Breton adds +25 magic resistance.

The same commentary could be leveled at nearly any game that has been out for a time...GTA, WoW, etc.
