I love watching Evan play tbh, he, and also the rest of TSM have incredible proffessionalism, I can watch Evan play for hours, just because he never overreacts and if he reacts he quickly calms down and tries reflecting on what went wrong. Never attacks anyone or anything, he tries to give a very objective view on everything that happens in the game. That guy is passionate, calm, and has super positioning ability. Just one of the best imo.

We've seen this dance for years now and the cycle itself never ends, Whenever a streamer or a pro complains after being given what they want they will always have something to complain about either way, no disrespect to Hal but i remember doing a giant facepalm during S13 which was the massive overhaul of ranked that in the first 2 weeks he loved it, casuals like myself hated it for becoming too grindy, but after that he started complaining again that the Matchmaking queue takes a 100 years for him to find a game, the sad part is with most streamers is they lack the empathy of what it's like to be in the casuals shoes, especially who works from 9 to 5 and only has little time to play the game unlike they do.

ace quit a year ago and is still crazy popular in streams. timmy and mande are both on other games now. both have huge followings still. theyre entertainers fully, most other streamers are really just apex streamers not entertainers. he didnt touch on that but thats why the apex streamers will have no fallback

Most of the pro's and streamers don't get any training. They've not had a traditional job which involves talking to and representing a corp. They are young and sadly some of their peers are not great role models either. It's a tough space and sadly there will be a hard reality check for many when the Apex pro scene disappears.

This is why I like him more than any other streamer because he's the most realistic about his takes. Pros genuinely cry about everything thats why I'm grateful for whatever we get in apex. Yes there's time I cry about it as a pubs player/rank sometimes that certain changes are unnecessary or stupid and needs to be reverted but after a while that happens and I'm happy again. Every game no matter who the balancing team is people complain about meta they buff and nerf things people complain again etc (mostly pros at least they always seem to be the loudest) Made me realized no matter what the legend or hero pool looked like and no matter who balanced it there would be complaints. They could literally let pros do the balancing and they’d get mad at it within a week or two of playing. No matter what there’ll always be a “best comp” even if slightly and players at the highest level will play it that is just the reality. Sometimes meta shifts are good to put another legends in the spotlight and encourage refreshing gameplay. Other times meta changes make the game way more boring. Best part is a year or two later people will look back and be like “damn that old meta was so fun” the same one they complained about and got nerf to the ground

I've been saying it for years, when pros complain shit gets done. And all they do is complain even after getting what they want. The casual.player base is dead because pros want it a certain way. Without the casuals there's no one to watch the pros, it's literally that simple.

You can look back to every single comp meta.. not one or two, literally every single one (like every one) and pros complained about each one. It’s the only gaming community that trashes devs so often, for no reason. Saying “fix this, fix this”, without realizing how hard these fixes are (or time consuming). Today’s gen of players are out if touch bc they were raised in the best gaming environment of all time.
I play Apex very occasionally, sometimes for a laugh or to try out a legend, and honestly I have fun with the game, I always see people complaining and I don't understand why. Maybe I'm missing something because I rarely play it, but if someone could explain to me why there are so many complaints lately that would be nice.
And think about it they all/most use the same legends and strategies. So pros losing is literally them being out played. Instead of having a talk about how to improve they just blame the game. Not pro attitude at all.
I think the the algs version should be completely different from the game we all play, casuals should definitely not be put in lobbies with crazy sweats either. Just wish they’d get proper tick rate servers and make the matchmaking based on actual skill as it should be instead of trying to get people to play more, just think a lot of stuff is backwards, they focus so hard on skins/gambling instead of just making the game healthy. Maybe I'm wrong but the problem with Apex is that their isn't enough young talent coming through putting pressure on the current pros. A natural relegation system helps keep the interest in the game as the old leaves and the new comes in with a new user base too.

Tier 2 players with NO ALGS PRO LEAGUE EXPERIENCE are also expecting financial compensation from other orgs that is on par with players that are signed to mid-high tier orgs with active Pro League rosters. I feel the scene is so toxic beyond even more of what you're speaking on. Teams disband after a week of scrims if there is a single hurt ego etc. Theres just so much to speak on
The problem is that while they do complain a lot they have valid points. Aim assist is still broken despite having an easy fix. Ranked is unbalanced and unfair despite having an easy fix. The meta is toxic and doubles down on issues with ranked that are still easy to fix. Matchmaking is so bad that there is a good chance that a brand new player can face an apex pred on their first game. The ingame issues with audio and server issues are so constant that even EA couldnt ignore it.
I think both sides have some reason, they could easily make a pro mode with differences between the casual like other games have, and speaking for myself they just kept nerfing every character I pick until eventually I stoped playing.
I remember seeing a post on reddit about how League, as toxic as it is, got really lucky with the League Pro that became the face of the game which is Faker. They could've gotten someone who just blatantly screams hate on the reg, but instead they just got a chill ass dude who's really good at playing League. He doesn't even play with skins. When I think about an E-sport, I think about the people associated with it--- Valorant with Tenz and Tarik and the like, they're all generally chill dudes. Not saying that Apex is full of toxic ass people, but it's just funny about how whenever someone dies that Wigg's spectating they all just slam their desk and yell LMAO people can be mad, but they gotta remember that they're on stream--as well as talking to teammates who are people

Well. Respawn is just as much to blame as pros and content creators. The reality is the ones that trashed the game verbally were the ones respawn gave everything to and that killed it for people that played the game because they genuinely liked it. If hal or wattson left another person would have been waiting to take their place and still got the game the views and exposure they wanted.

Yes there's time I cry about it as a pubs player/rank sometimes that certain changes are unnecessary or stupid and needs to be reverted but after a while that happens and I'm happy again. I'm not complaining about the monetizion because again respawn loves this game but ea declines whatever they wanna do to make us happy. I have not once seen a pro player happy about a change in apex every time something small changes. I hear tears and it's like bro it's not that deep

If you're in charge or are overseeing something and you continuously fuck up over and over and over again and your company loses money and player base because of your fuck up then you are not doing your job correctly and deserve to be fired. Maybe Apex just isn't the game for these guys but saying people should have to accept subpar work and covering it with a shroud of "empathy" is way worse than saying someone needs to listen to the people making the game money or else they deserve to be fired because they are underperforming.
They have been fired, the people we complaines about initially are long gone. So the people we keep complaining about aren't that invested anyways, the care is gone and we are a part of the problem. If you just keep firing people for mistakes there won't be anyone left. How about you go out and make a difference then, instead of spreading more hate for the game and the people that are keeping it from having no updates.

@@JonathanMaconachie That's the thing though. The way that Respawn updates and changes the game is meticulously designed to Garner negative reviews. They subscribe to any publicity is good publicity. They clearly are not trying to make the game better because we have been bitching about footstep audio for half a decade now and they are still content with pushing new maps, redesigning characters and changing the meta. Fix the broken ass game first then worry about the meta after.

Every game no matter who the balancing team is people complain about meta they buff and nerf things people complain again etc (mostly pros at least they always seem to be the loudest)
Made me realized no matter what the legend or hero pool looked like and no matter who balanced it there would be complaints.
They could literally let pros do the balancing and they’d get mad at it within a week or two of playing.
No matter what there’ll always be a “best comp” even if slightly and players at the highest level will play it that is just the reality.
Sometimes meta shifts are good to put another legends in the spotlight and encourage refreshing gameplay. Other times meta changes make the game way more boring.
Best part is a year or two later people will look back and be like “damn that old meta was so fun” the same one they complained about and got nerf to the ground

I've been saying it for years, when pros complain shit gets done. And all they do is complain even after getting what they want. The casual.player base is dead because pros want it a certain way. Without the casuals there's no one to watch the pros, it's literally that simple.

I play Apex very occasionally, sometimes for a laugh or to try out a legend, and honestly I have fun with the game, I always see people complaining and I don't understand why. Maybe I'm missing something because I rarely play it, but if someone could explain to me why there are so many complaints lately that would be nice.
And think about it they all/most use the same legends and strategies. So pros losing is literally them being out played. Instead of having a talk about how to improve they just blame the game. Not pro attitude at all.
I think the the algs version should be completely different from the game we all play, casuals should definitely not be put in lobbies with crazy sweats either. Just wish they’d get proper tick rate servers and make the matchmaking based on actual skill as it should be instead of trying to get people to play more, just think a lot of stuff is backwards, they focus so hard on skins/gambling instead of just making the game healthy. Maybe I'm wrong but the problem with Apex is that their isn't enough young talent coming through putting pressure on the current pros.
A natural relegation system helps keep the interest in the game as the old leaves and the new comes in with a new user base too.
What it really comes down too is both parties are at fault. The higher ups at respawn and the pros, both are kiling this game.

He’s not wrong. Despite the games position, honestly its the most entertaining game to watch as a spectator. The comps are entertaining, the skills, the plot, the strats, the legend abilities, meta. Everything is just entertaining. Other games could offer better gameplay but apex overall is sitting among the best games ever. Whoever cries about it probably plats apex for the wrong reasons. If you want to cool off after a long day at work, apex ain’t for you. Its hella competitive and it gets even harder by the day.

The problem is that while they do complain a lot they have valid points. Aim assist is still broken despite having an easy fix. Ranked is unbalanced and unfair despite having an easy fix. The meta is toxic and doubles down on issues with ranked that are still easy to fix. Matchmaking is so bad that there is a good chance that a brand new player can face an apex pred on their first game. The ingame issues with audio and server issues are so constant that even EA couldnt ignore it.

I think both sides have some reason, they could easily make a pro mode with differences between the casual like other games have, and speaking for myself they just kept nerfing every character I pick until eventually I stoped playing.
I remember seeing a post on reddit about how League, as toxic as it is, got really lucky with the League Pro that became the face of the game which is Faker. They could've gotten someone who just blatantly screams hate on the reg, but instead they just got a chill ass dude who's really good at playing League. He doesn't even play with skins. When I think about an E-sport, I think about the people associated with it--- Valorant with Tenz and Tarik and the like, they're all generally chill dudes.
Not saying that Apex is full of toxic ass people, but it's just funny about how whenever someone dies that Wigg's spectating they all just slam their desk and yell LMAO people can be mad, but they gotta remember that they're on stream--as well as talking to teammates who are people

I still follow a handful of pros and I agree with them for parting away from Apex as you should if your working with a company that only cares about money and has been proven countless times. Well. Respawn is just as much to blame as pros and content creators. The reality is the ones that trashed the game verbally were the ones respawn gave everything to and that killed it for people that played the game because they genuinely liked it. If hal or wattson left another person would have been waiting to take their place and still got the game the views and exposure they wanted.
