I noticed you mentioned that people criticize you for eating the way you do in your what I eat in a day videos. I just want to say that I've been watching your what I eat in a day vids since you lived in your previous apartment. You've inspired me so much that im now starting my own vegan food/wellness blog. You exude happiness, creativity, and spontaneity when you cook and that's what I love about you Lauren!!! I mean I just baked 10 batches of cookies the other day testing out new vegan cookie recipes from scratch 😂. Call me crazy but you are seriously one of the few people who made me realize just how much I love to cook and I will forever be grateful for your presence Lauren.
As far as you eating.....You eat pretty healthy & normal to me. I think that's the thing....you eat normal like a real person. I mean let's be real here.....no one eats healthy and perfect every single meal every single day. No one's perfect. Some vegans try to make it seem like they eat perfect every day when we both know they don't eat like that EVERY single day. You're not hurting any animals throughout the day so eat wtf you want!!! That's why I love your what I eat in a day vids because you give me ideas for cooking normal vegan food. Not every dish is super duper healthy and I love that!! And I don't wanna eat super healthy every single day! Keep being you Lauren, and keep eating what ever the hell you want to!!!

Me too and I don't know why but EVERY single time it happens and I KNOW its BAD - I still try to salvage it by adding more ingredients... until I just have to give in and NOW drink an even bigger yucky smoothie :(

I like to turn off everything, light candles and listen to someone like Chelsea Wolfe on vinyl and just lay on the floor and i find it very relaxing and sometimes I'll cry lol

I was so excited to see this style video again! I love the low key vibe.
When I need to relax, I take a bath, but I do it in the most extra way possible. I use bath bombs and bubbles and a face mask and I have a glass of wine and listen to my favorite chill music. I think it works so well for me not because of all the little extra bits, but because it's a way for me to shut off my brain and just go through the motions. I think that's the best way for me to relax, to just be present in the moment. Good luck!

Lauren, I love you and I love your videos. If you're focusing on your wellness, sit down when you eat. You'll digest better and enjoy your food more. It will also help with anxiety if you're trying to relax.

When I am really stressed, I crave for more caffeine, but I can't drink more coffee, obviously, so I have like, 4-5 big mugs of all kinds of different teas. I have green, hibiscus, mint, jasmine, chamomile if it's after 7 pm
green tea has more caffeine then coffee!

Hi! I have pretty bad stress and anxiety issues too... and recently I’ve tried CBD oil (a type of hemp oil) and when I take it regularly I do feel like it helps. As well as taking my supplements and what not regularly. I’ve also started a gratitude journal to help keep my mind on the positive. Also, I love your meditation space and you already know yoga is amazing and healing! Lauren, you’re one of my favorites on UA-cam. The main person to help me through my vegan food journey (nearly 2 years now). I love your candor and realness. I understand how it feels to have your life flipped upside down, my little fam is currently in a struggle of our own, it’s really tough, you’re never alone and I hope life starts to balance back out for you soon! :)

i’m a firm believer than your body will tell you what it wants. that it’s smart enough to tell you what you need to eat and when. So just listen to your body.

I relax when I'm in the kitchen. Chopping up vegetables and cooking new things makes me happy and calms me down. Other things are cuddling in my bed the whole day with some Netflix or a nice thrillerbook :)

honestly to relax I just like to work out at least 4 times a week! I'm very busy too but I'll always make time to go to the gym or for a run because otherwise I just go crazy! I feel as though working out, and especially when you're busy and barely even have time to think, is a great time to reconnect with yourself and your body :)

Hi Lauren, I loved this video, I want eat these pop corns, "fish thing" and "egg" salad now :) What I do to relax? I used to do A LOT of yoga when I was in North America, any workout helps in general, watching youtube videos, going for coffee with a GOOD friend, going to the beach (honestly one of the best!), cooking a fruit pie, asking for a massage, .............I love your videos even if you do short ones (if you're busy with the cook book) thanks!!!

My experience is....if you do lots of computerwork (vlogging too), then you spend most of your time in your head and you need to ground yourself. And for me, that means physical activity. Walking, gardening, working out, horseriding, yoga, anything that puts your body to work. Meditation is headwork to me, so that doesn't help to destress. Balance! I get that from working with 'my' horse: training him, riding him, etc. Being outside and physically active helps to keep me sane after a busy week at the office.
