Yeah, that cuts the size/capacity of the bags down a bit, but it is super nice to not have to relocated my turn signals. Especially since these bags won't stay on the bike all the time.
Thanks for the review! I am considering these. I don't think the issues you mention are too big to keep me from going this route and buying a pair. Sadly the stock exhaust has to go, but whatever...

Ah hell no, dude! I'm too old and cranky to do 800 mile days like that. At least on a Softail. But I've got to say... I've been feeling the tug of the Road Glide since I got back from that trip.

Hi, I can not know the capacity (in litres or m3) of these saddle bags. Can you tell me their capacity? Thanks and congratulations for your videos.
You could buy a small lock to put through the zipper holes if you really wanted to lock those bags up so no one could get in them
Just go to a good key locksmiths they can sort you two locks that have the same key that will fit the tabs that open the zipper on the zipper at the bottom a bit of wax spray at the ends will sort that water
I got some showing up Monday. Took two months to get them but they are exactly what I need. Think painting the mounting points would be worth my time? Is there enough play in them for some paint? I would like them black. Best video on these bags yet👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks! I immediately wanted to paint the mounting hardware black when I got it. But when I looked at how tight the fitment was with the docking points, I figured that no matter what type of paint I used, it was going to scrape off when putting the bags on and taking them off. I really wish they offered black hardware. Let me know how you like the bags when you get them. And I would really be interested in how well covered the zippers are on the bottom of your set.
@@withPercy thanks a bunch. Yeah I’am thinking the same about painting them. Hopefully some black hardware will be in the future. I certainly will let you know about the zippers when I get them. Probably go with the trash bag liners jest to stay safe. Lol. Thanks again.
@@withPercy got mine finally today and I am very pleased with them. My zippers seemed covered all the way to the bottom. My latch system seems to be tighter than yours also. They don’t seem to bind up like yours do.

I actually sold the bags shortly after making this video. Never actually ran that down with them.

Hi, a bit confused. is this the Retro or the EZ Mount (non retro) version? From my understanding both versions are EZMount while the Retro is larger than the EZmount version.
They were the Retro V3 version. EZ mount and do not require turn signal relocation.
