On the subject of magnetic tank bags, I purchased the Burly Brand (on Stewart's recommendation) and have found it very secure through many months of highway-speed commuting.
I have the hand grips (on my 650 INT) and the small first shown tank bag. All are first rate, and I highly recommend TripMachine. I have the backpack and messenger bag saddlebags coming. I'm considering taking the magnets out of the small tank bag, removing the small ears at the top inner opening of the bag and using it on my belt for concealed carry of my Glock 29 10mm auto. There is also enough room for a spare clip. The magnets prevent easy removal of the piece.

@@sbrides3042 The American way ...what can I say...bigger is better(power of cartridge and caliber size). I'm getting an aftermarket barrel that is .7 inch longer with 3 ports--will tame recoil (which I don't object to in the first place), suppose to be better for the follow up. Still should fit nicely in TripMachine pouch, not printable, looks like overgrown phone case. Ride on mate.
I have the smaller one and it stays in place at speed and on dirt roads. The waterproof cover is a big plus. These are great for carrying covid supplies as well as the other things you have mentioned.

I'm in the UK and was one of the first to purchase (so TM tell me) the new large tank bag. Like all their stuff it's a nice looking and tactile piece. Trip Machine say the capacity is 4.4L.
I mount mine using only the magnets on either my Enfield Trials 500 tank or on my Triumph Speedmaster 1200 chrome luggage rack. In both cases the magnets hold firmly. On both bikes the bag looks really good, matching both the retro appearance of the Enfield and also the custom appearance of the Speedmaster. On the latter, as the bag is behind me, I must admit to, at first, making frequent nervous backward glances behind at it to ensure it was still there on what is a fast bike. As you say, there is a secondary security strap supplied with the bag if necessary but I haven't used it yet.
With the new large tank bag, I also purchased the accompanying magnetic phone pouch which can be used either on its own on the tank or it attaches to the tank bag. Similarly the smaller tank pouch that you have can also be attached to the large tank bag. In fact you can piggy back all three together, the tank bag, the tank pouch and the phone pouch. TM sell these items separately or as package deals with a small discount.
Looking forward to your next trip machine bag review which I presume will be the 'large' saddle bag. Your reviews and various 'how to' videos always seems to be reliable, thorough and comprehensive. They are much appreciated👍
Nice bit of kit Stuart. Having worked with leather all my life, there's absolutely no reason why that bag couldn't be used all year round. Like with your 'full Fillingham' cleaning, it's all about the quality of product you use and the care you take. If it gets a soaking, careful drying (no heat!) is needed. And then regular 'feeding' (it's natural and it's animal!) with a really good product. I would only use Carr&Day&Martin products or Altberg's Leder-gris (good Yorkshire company making the best boots going!!). If you want to guarantee the contents stay dry, shove a 3l Lomo drybag inside for only £3...
I tried the gold top wax and it seemed to add a slight waterproof layer....thanks for the tip I’ll try this one out

That would absolutely make for a light commuter or touring bag. Especially if you are still riding with a backpack. I think it looks a little better on the tail end though, than on the tank.
As we now seek out high quality items from our past I think these items also would equally stand the test of time. General purpose, mass produced equipment is of finite use and value. Which is ok too.
Ace bit of kit I bought one based on your video, did a mod with the seat strap and turned it into a carrying handle as I am not a fan of shoulder straps.

Thx again for the review and the Discount Code. The original tank pouch is nice, but for my needs a little to small, so this one should be perfect. Also bought the minipanier and the large panier/backpack from Tripmachine on your recommendation and i like at lot. This rough leather pieces are absolutely gorgeous and very useful.

One thing, can't seem to find a quality exhaust for the interceptor that will allow saddlebags. Any suggestions?

I'm using a Q Bag seat pack on the interceptor at the moment looks ok but I'm sure the Tripmachine one would look much better ......Just one thought though Stuart, do you get stung for import duty on these items ? I have bought all my RE accessories direct from a very reliable supplier in India ( bought the seat Friday afternoon, was fitting it Monday morning ) and each one apart from the oil filler cap came with an import duty bill ! Not really a problem if you are still making a saving over buying it in the UK but it may be something that people need to be aware of 🤔.....Don't forget that you putting the content up makes you responsible for some buffoon not foreseeing that happening and you'll get blamed for the puncture they got on the way to work too ! Internet rules not mine Stu 😃
You may well have to pay duty Moog I did make a very lengthy video on the subject of purchasing from India last year. It isn't really practical to go over it again in every video.

Hi Stuart another great video Trip Machine do seem to make good quality products might get a bag later. Have you heard anything from Triumph regarding your Bonneville ?. After watching your video on cleaning your T120 I tried it on my Speed Twin and it does what it says on the tin. The road muck just slid off I was amazed to see that it really works. keep on making the good videos Matt
