Yes, the live clip should be Sid's first gig!:) He wore the vive le rock t-shirt in that occasion..And then, a small audience was allowed to see the gig.
No one in the UK called themselves Blank Generation(punk was 100% opposite to that) only in usa was it blank Generation & thr airport thing Never happened & it was a nightly news show on at 6pm Not a youth show
Excellent! I think i've only seen the Paul Cook 'Grundy' bit before. Wasn't the live clip Sids first gig at the Notre Dame Hall? Funny watching the Teds outside Boy obviously attempting to intimidate punks, though I suppose it wasn't funny at the time - the Ted revival was before my time, i had to contend with Skinheads.
It was from a TV show that was shown on network TV (NBC, I think) on a weekend in 1977. I remember watching it when it was originally broadcast.
I remember watching it as well! Fell in love with punk that night!

Everything is harder now. Everything is regulated. Cameras everywhere. All your details are on computer.
Whenever I hear the report of ‘one irate TV viewer kicking in his set” I always laugh out loud - utterly hilarious
Cool! Thanks for posting. :3
Love it
Grundy's Today show a teen program - it was a fucking topical news program broadcast at 6.00pm every week day during prime time
Today show wasn`t a "teen program" at all,it was a news and current affairs program....The ITV equivalent of the BBC`s Nationwide.
