you too Joe g!!
@@MidwestStreetCarsAuto I thought it had a lock up already … I know it did before… bc you and Ryan Martin talked about it at NPK 😅… bc that race you would have beat him and was beating him and the damn lock up came on and you got loose and had to get out of it and he came around you for the W … an you was like damn I had that motherfer … 😅then the next race or two you won that money …You was Big balling … lol just curious 🤨 tho … if that was just for the track …?
Bro, it’s ChEif, didn’t you watch the video!!!
Man I miss seeing yall on tv but glad your here on UA-cam
thanks zach!
The TV shows are OVER!!
Me to. Way to much politics in the TV show along with to much shit from out of state! Honestly don’t even watch the show anymore but I still keep up with Chief
Love that old truck at the beginning
The tailgate squeak got me good through the headphones ha ha, nice old work truck though.
I like the vise grip for a knob trick. Never gets old. Y'all keep doing what you do! Love you guys!
This old man remembers avoiding lockup Th350s WAY back in the day lol. Man, we used to just pick up a “fresh unit” from the junkyard for $50 and we all knew how to rebuild them on a tailgate with a 12 pack. Thanks for videos!
Good times for sure miss the old days sure would like to do it again back then obviously not these days
Whoop! Whoop! Somebody bought a 632bbc, and it's this guy!! Let's GOOOOO!! 😎
dang nice!!
Thanks, I'm pretty wound up about it! Street cars to the front!! 😂
@@johnnymoran180right on man , enjoy and be safe
As a clutch guy, I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed the explanation on the lock up for the converters. I've never been an auto guy. I get why folks like them, but I'm stuck in the old school. It's nice to see how folks make those slush boxes work. Thx
I love when I get to see new videos of Big Chief and Jackie highlight of the day!!
Vice grip wiper switch. Nice
Love these video. So much knowledge and detail. Never knew how a lockup worked. Thanks Chief and Jackie
thanks for watching!
@@MidwestStreetCarsAutoyou need to be out there making 3/4 more test hits again … I would be testing my ass off … I’m guessing after you put the lock back in them you go back out and test at least twice…
Some people buy clothes, tv's, furniture, I buy high performance parts! 😂
When Jackie pulls out the clearview screen "This is the biggest clean out we have had yet!!! "
Parker shnobble would loose it over that filter.
Real POS #42
That truck in the beginning brought back so many memories. My dad still has the 67 C10 he bought in 1989 when I was 3. A lot of burnouts…..I mean memories in that truck😉
Love your C-10 big Chief. Those are my favorite trucks. Very cool 👍😎✌️
That orange and black 60s chevy pickup in the begining of the video is my favorite vehicle you own. Its a close tie between the crow and the truck. (Yes i know im retarted but man c10s get me.)
I love the crow uploads,I’ve been watching since the season 1 405 show. Keep it up.👍
Best description of how a lock up converter works ever, very dumbed down for us common people!!
Bro I love how you explain shit!! You just explained how a lock up works and understood every word!!😎👊🏾🌱
Love the old truck , I am currently watching old seasons of Street outlaws on season 10 particularly now . CHEIF , You really kicked ass on that show & at everything you do now a days also ! You too Jackie !
Chief was the Show, Went down hill after he left
@@JestaBl1tz agreed
Thank you cheif for explaining in detail I did know about lock ups but not exactly how they work I'm still young and learning so i appreciate you guys
I got a 72 chevy Cheyenne i got from Harry gant that he used to pull his race cars back in the day so you know i love your truck..i didn't know you had it that would make great content working to fix it up even better than it is... peace brotha i like you even more now lol
i got lots of stuff that rarely makes it into videos lol just not alot of time between race cars
to do other stuff currently
I wish I could come stay with you two for a few days and help you guys wrench on racecars and hang out i bet it would be a blast. Much love and respect to you both ✌️❤️
Hey Big Chief and Jackie good to see you guys again hope all is well with you you are definitely missed by so many...much love to you #team405
Love that transmission! Sweet! Good luck with the new converter.
It’s a space age metal that came from Roswell. Don’t even worry about the aliens 👽 in the catch filter. Just keep sending it. 😂😂😂😂
unobtanium
11 years and counting. 15 back then.
Still awesome to watch..
Justin/Jackie, thank you, perfect timing. Priceless ✌️
Converters in other words have magic inside and are awesome 👌
Thank You Miss Jackie and Chief
thanks Phillip!
Big Chief the Tech Guy!... Love Your Passion.
My only guess would be rockers being aluminum. Got to love the clear view filters. Wish you the best and hope it isn’t too costly.
Oil pump be a good place to check, looks like gear pump shavings
Glad to see yall are doing great!
I like the stickers too man.
Its the best thing about opening up a box of new parts lol
The overall layout and editing of the videos has improved drastically. I especially enjoy the story telling when you guys hit the track. Keep the videos coming!
Hell yeah nice too see someone else running a lockup that will definitely give the crow some wings 🪽 going out the back door to the strip. As for the metal Jackie found how many passes do you all have on that combo now it’s better to find it now and fix it then in the middle of a run but that’s definitely a lot of aluminum and gasket material. Love y’all’s videos as always wish we could get longer videos but thank you as always for chiefs tech break downs I always love listening to him break down how stuff works.
Man I've missed your video's very glad see you both back at it even though you've got some more things to do I'm sure you both will get it done much love and support from Brisbane Australia can't wait for the next
As always
LOVE LOVE for the Chief and Jackie Show
Love his explanations of things.
Aussie FANZS ;)
Great video! Thanks for the converter info very useful! Like the the vise grips for the wipers don’t change that!😆
That was the best explanation of how a lockup works I’ve honestly wondered how they worked had an idea but I thought it was just all clutches 😂😂 thanks for that school session
Thanks for sharing Chief and Jackie
Om my fu ---cking. GOD I THOUGHT I WAS GOING TO PISS MY PANTS when I was watching you in the old Chev pickup, patina paint missed match shit , slamming the tail gate, fuel gauge, don't work, even the vise grips for wiper wipers, ABSOLUTELY AWESOME SIT I REMBER WHEN THATS HOW MY DAILY DRIVER SHIT WAS BACK IN THE DAY. AND WAS PROUD OF IT. I LOVE YOU AND JACKIE, BEEN WATCHING YOUR GUYS STUFF FOR YEARS. LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT. KEEP IT COMMING, GOD SPEED. BRUCKMANSAUTO GREENVILLE NEW YORK
Great description. Thanks for the video.
WOW 😲 BIG CHIEF & JACKIE, ALMOST HAVING 400,000.00 SUBSCRIBERS! Way to go! Keep up the good work that you do, it's very appreciated 👍. Great video 📸. Thanks.
Hell yeah I love the crow ol girl is rowdy
Metal from the engine block when it went to the shop I am guessing, USALLY from the break in period and passes great video, chief can't wait till you make a movie soon it's going to be epic
What a great converter !
Listener #1 here. I’m glad you got the laptop debacle cleared up and now we can get back to regularly scheduled programming.
Really just love everything ya do !! So much heart
Letsssss goooo. I been waiting for another Jackie and chief show production 🎉❤
Learn something new every video, thanks. Seriously thanks.
That c10 looks like my nova 😂😂 the vice grip🔥🔥
The only thing aluminum I can think of is rocker arms, pistons, and rods
And your music is absolutely fantastic. Keep up the good work.
thanks! these rods are steel
Hell yeah!! Love the custom dial knob
That's one fine truck!
Thanks for the lockup converter lesson. So Cool
That's a sweet old chevy truck you got there looks to be a 69. I use to own one back in the day had a SBC in it and put a 454 in it out of a old 70 Impala that got totaled off it had 400hp all stock except intake and headers.
You are a book of knowledge Big Chief and if im ever confused about anything on a race car i can go through your videos and find the answers. Dang Jackie that filter looks bad from what i can tell through my phone it looks like bearing material but whatever it is I'm hoping it's not serious. Thanks you two for sharing your knowledge. Nice looking c10. God bless and as always be safe.
usually bearings will put copper into the filter
@MidwestStreetCarsAuto I agree but looking through my phone being blind in one eye and can't see out the other lol and I know you said you didn't see any copper so my question is what else would produce that small of material? And what type of material is it? You may have said but I can't hear as well lol. I was just guessing without touching and seeing in person. Thanks so much for your reply Big Chief. God bless and as always be safe.
As always very informative and well explained. Thank You!
Very cool information about the tork converter
Man you got skills and you explain it well and thank you
Finally, welcome back guys. Love the videos and continued success in your upcoming races.
Love from South Africa
You were one of the first ones to have a lock up. I remember Ryan Martin when he got a lock up coming to you to ask you about it.
Yeah buddy let’s go. Been looking forward to this all day. 👍😎✌️
cool to see how content and happy you guys are.
All the guys with toters and 100 grand hemis look stressed out all the time
Pull the valve covers on CaddyJack 😂😂😂
Those aren't stickers like little kids get, those are Race Car Decals
Love the vise grips on the wiper control on the yard truck...the fact that you two talk to us like we are there is just great. As for the metal in the CaddyJack, I suspect the distributor gear is rubbing inside , is that aluminum? I was thinking a bearing but bearings are copper correct?
I got locked up one time Jackie.....and tell Chief there wasn't any Fu&kn cake at that deal either!!!! One of the cats is pissed off and messing with Caddyjack!!! Thats right Jackie!! One of those cats is a crow fan!!! 😮
Professor Chief teaching the masses!
Just about to go to bed in the uk oh well looks like I’m gonna be a bit tired for work😂😂
Farm truck collaboration! I love it...
Perfect, always wondered how that worked. Excellant job Mr. Cake maker! lol But yeah, good stuff.
I watch a lot of UA-cam videos, their doing a really good job with their videos.
thank you!
Glad your back! Happy belated 4th of July to Midwest Street Katz! 🤣
🔦🏁💰🤑🇺🇸
Love the vise grips on the wiper switch 😂
Hey chief and Jackie great to see another fire video especially when it's starts off with the c10 and the converter tutorial was great but that filter had a bit more shavings than I'd like to see myself might what to check them bearings . As always keep up the awesome work guys let's go 💪 💯
That old truck at the begining is the best.
If I remember, that is a cast block and steel rods correct? With that much aluminum shaved like that it’s got to be some super unhappy valve train or thrust issues. Is it possible that oil filter block off, adapter doohickey thing could be doing it. Or the oil pump itself?
Poor Caddy Jack...too much glitter there on the screen.
Oh man that beautiful truck!!🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
in trade school they explained torque converter as a fan thats plugged in blowing on a fan thats turned off making that fan turn
Yeah, my 25 year old Jeep has a lockup converter, automatically engaged in 3rd sort of like another shift. One can put a switch on it and do it manually, which is great for crawling down hills hold back.
Ya'll weren't even in diapers yet when that music came out, were ya? Great music!!! Ya'll are awesome. God bless & PEACE OUT YA'LL.
haha true!!
Well i'll be damned... it's Tuesday
Ahhh yes, the memories of my old truck with vise grips as the wiper knob also.
It’s Tuesday pos watcher ##12 with double hash browns 😂
Alright, I got my nom nom shopping done just in time.
🎉😋
Glad y'all are back after the computer tumble. Im wondering if the Rockers could be rubbing on something or if one of the Rockers are eating itself up? By the way love how you explain things, its the exact same way my brain works and absorbs info.
If I'm not mistaken that's a steel rod motor, so the glitter could be from top end debris.
steel rods yes
I watched a video recently from Powell Machine . The same thing occurred with a car running big power ...and a lockup converter . Too much pressure caused the converter / flex plate to push into the engine . The metal was coming from the thrust caps on the main journal . Hope this helps . Give Powell a call if it makes sense , they have a solution .
Hopefully Jack isn't hurt bad😢 Great video 😁
One hell of a windshield wiper switch you have there chief 😂
Don't wait so long between videos, it's been weeks😂
jackies laptop took a tumble out of the truck lol
I see them every Tuesday, like clockwork? #17.
Gotcha a big orange truck! With some swingset pipe exhaust!! Yea boyee. R.d
Iloveyou too bigchief and jackie and caddyJack and mr crow Iloveyou bigchief and jackie and caddyJack
POS Tuesdays !!
POS Listener #304!!
MWSCTTF 🇺🇸🏁🇺🇸
Awesome video and perfect explanation!!!!
The crow getting that jewelry!!
Thank you for the video I learned a whole lot y'all. To tell you what I think was in the filter I would possibly say piston but I don't think you use aluminum pistons so scratch that maybe pieces came off the head freak it whatever it is id change the oil and filter and run it anyway just keep your eye on it and have another engine ready to go
I knew how torque converters worked but didn't understand the whole lockup process that people are using more and more these days..thanks for the education Chief!!! The ol black Chevy looks pretty sad sitting there while you're driving the ol c10
You know "Cheif" is excited to pull those valve covers off!
