Hi everyone! Hope you enjoy this silly video that I took far too seriously. INTJ, INTJ Female, 16 Personalities, Myer Briggs, Reacting to Memes, INTJ Memes
Well, some of these I thought way too hard about...Regardless, I hope you enjoy the 15 or so minutes of me overworking my very sleepy brain. Also, make sure to stay to the end for a cute surprise!
I can relate to that 'SF' imposition, though I'm a dude. As someone that was raised in a community that skewed heavily towards 'E, S and F', to my INTJ self, that imposition always felt like being a fish raised in a tribe of monkeys. It was years of "why are you swimming alone in the river when everyone is throwing poop at each other in the tree tops? No wonder you're so unhappy and lonely!" Well, duh... I was the only fish there. Everyone else were monkeys with, maybe, a few rhinoceros there, which were always my only friends because rhinos like to bathe in the river sometimes. "Why don't you climb this tree with us?" they would say "Because I have freakin fins and gills instead of hands, feet and a tail! I'm going to choke if I get out of the water! Can't you see that?" But they couldn't and that was the problem. Those monkeys were so used to seeing only other monkeys like themselves that they couldn't even conceive the idea of a fish. So I suffered in that jungle for 18 years until I discovered that the world is full of lakes and oceans and life has been marginally better since then.
This is 100% my experience and very poetically stated. I always described myself as a cat in a dogs world. Everyone can look and see I'm a cat, but they get mad that I don't meow or react like a dog. Thank you for taking the time to leave such a comedic and beautiful comment.
as a guy intj, i ABSOLUTELY DO ABSOLUTELY AGREE with you about ALL of it. it is really quite RIDICULOUS about how we are often posed as some sort of devious person who plans on taking advantage of everyone in ANY situation at all. YES, we ABSOLUTELY DO scheme. NO, it is ABSOLUTELY NOT about how we can take advantage of people. instead, it ABSOLUTELY IS about how we can best utilize the facets of the environment we find ourselves in. the scheming ABSOLUTELY IS about things and/or dynamics and, it is ABSOLUTELY NOT about people and/or taking advantage of others. in general, we ABSOLUTELY ARE INFINITELY MORE MORAL/ETHICAL than to act in some sort of devious or underhanded way toward others. in fact, we ABSOLUTELY DO DETEST THAT. ABSOLUTELY. FOR SURE. - (again) INTJ
Hi Ryan! I think most of time it's a joke that INTJ's are villainous, but there are some out there who seem to believe we're plotting the downfall of PEOPLE instead of plotting the best time to go grocery shopping to avoid said people. Thanks for providing your perspective :)
My ISTJ Mom used to always say that I overanalyze situations. But now, as an adult, I make such good predictions that she's stopped saying that. She's now quite amazed at my ability to "see the future", even though it's literally just from "overanalyzing situations" from the past.
My mom used to call me psychic haha. It's just analyzing everything without actively even trying to do so, and then storing it away for future usage. Thanks for commenting!
Thank you! I could sit down and do videos about INTJ personality types in a more clinical fashion, but I believe these story time/chatting videos provide far more insight. Granted, I've seen comments saying I'm much too "vulnerable" to be an INTJ, but they must not realize I'm in a room by myself when I record these. Thanks for commenting! It's healing to see people relating to me and appreciating my videos.
I've been practicing my social skills at work, but this has created a new problem which I have trouble dodging, and that is getting invited to hang out.
Just found your videos as was looking more about INTJs (again, being one myself), and really liked the asking questions part. However, I reached the point with this questioning and philosophical mindset that I find it hard to come up with questions. So with some people I sometimes practice my superiority by letting them challenge me asking some hard questions. And so far, as much as I have done it, always answered them, giving all detailed explanations along the way. However, the part of having strong emotions is unfamiliar to me, as I indeed am more like I look. I'm not even sure what the emotions are and where do feelings come from. I do know, however, what effects they have on people and how certain things evoke certain emotions in people.
As an INTJ mother of 3, that “constructive criticism” or “teaching about life” is how I show my love for my kids. My kids are well aware that when mommy is teaching about life and guiding them about how to succeed, or how to improve themselves in whatever aspect of interest, that this is completely mommy giving a verbal huge.🤣
As far as INTJ death stare goes, my stare was often not a death glare but more of a dead stare. No expressions no life probably no light in my eyes either. It's like my soul just left my body to explore into another realm of existence. It's hard being a person with Ni dom
As an INTJ-T, I'll say honestly parties are only fun if the whole goal is to get at least mildly drunk and thus finally have some of that psychological freedom headspace.
Ooh, new job is going to be so good for you based on all you've described. I haven't finished watching the video; I just wanted to say that as soon as I thought of it.
Thank you! I didn't realize how bad I was doing until I received the offer (more money, less stress, less job duties). After 6 months I'll receive 2 days of remote work as well which I'm excited for. Managing and growing this channel will be much easier.
I didn't realize how isolated I felt (desensitization, I suppose) until I decided one day to record a video on my phone and upload it. It's a relief to finally make contact with so many similar people. Thank you for the support :)
@@nikiyikes5674 I was about to say EXACTLY what Jake said. I never felt so understood. I don't think I ever met another INTJ in my entire life, so I always felt so alien, but then watching your reactions and your behavior and your thought process in this video I was like "are you me???? Hey, there are more people like me!" So yeah, thanks for that, Niki. It's good to finally not feel like I'm the only one of my species. :)
I'm in the early stages of learning, but within the first hour I was able to play and sing a simplified version of a song. Maybe I'll be able to give a better answer some other time! I'm very far from classical, however.
@@nikiyikes5674 Oh, that’s wonderful! I’m so glad to hear that you are learning music, and I hope you continue and it brings you enjoyment. I’m not a classical player either. I much prefer improvisation and spontaneous playing. I’m heavily influenced by Elton John’s style of piano playing.
I think my favorite comment: big eyes plus death stare may make people think she loves you. That is an interesting perspective I never thought of. Typically "death stares" are thought of as threatening.
Well, I must say, I love INTJs, plus we both have a shared dominant Ni, but my Fe differs from your Te in quite a bit of ways. INFJ here, and this world is not made for Ni doms like us, but we still exist. It does suck when you are right about things that no one ever wants to acknowledge that you are when they were wrong. Human beings, am I right?
These we're pretty great and had levels of truth in each one. Still trying to figure out if "sensitivity" is a seasoning or not... Thanks for commenting!
@@nikiyikes5674 my favorite was the weddings/parties. These also are guaranteed to drain me, and I find little to no enjoyment with them. We are definitely a unique breed.
My Dog knows how important my spot is to me, so she continuously steals my spot every time I get up. When I challenge her, she looks at me submissively and wags her tail. She is teasing me and wants to see me break my frame. For the same reason when we need to do something important quickly and she dramatically prances around the room in a long display of time monopoly. Then I give her the "INTJ Stare" and she begins to yawn anxiously. She also sleeps with her butt against me and farts on me on purpose. I am pretty sure she is an ESFP and a Real Stinker of one at that...Yes, I took the Myers-Briggs test for my Dog, seemed like the most INTJ thing to do at the time.
According to 4 Sides Dynamics, you actually ARE an SP some of the time. I'm guessing people sensed that side of you and were concerned you might be repressing some kind of trauma or growing into some kind of sociopath or something. I think SJs in general see most other people as fellow SJs (because they kinda are) and SPs as the fun but reckless animals that they think they can tame. But they don't know what to think of intuitives. They probably assume they are the autistic ones. Anyway, it might help to think "acting more like an SP" as nurturing the ESFP side of your mind. In light of this theory of the four sides of the mind, you're not necessarily trying to be someone you're not; you're trying to nurture a side of you that just doesn't come as naturally to you. I suspect on some level you actually aspire to be like an ESFP (confidently living in the moment, more emotionally aware, etc.).
Well, some of these I thought way too hard about...Regardless, I hope you enjoy the 15 or so minutes of me overworking my very sleepy brain. Also, make sure to stay to the end for a cute surprise!

That was funny! These days I've been aware how feelings can sometimes be sacred to me. But most of the time I handle them like radioactive waste XD
