You are getting a double signal or an echo because you’re listening to the direct source and the playback. The Antelope Audio configurations screen, with all the patchbay colors is very difficult to understand, and it’s very easy to get a double signal.

Love the Levee on drums! I have the Scarlett and was wondering if you think I should switch over or get another mic? I have to play crazy loud on my amp and still add gain on the Scarlett for it to be audible. I have an sm57 that I’m running through. Just curious if you felt that the gain was adding any distortion in a bad way with this. Any help would be appreciated

Id have to say 276 vs my id22 I enjoy the pres and or conversion slightly more and the headroom with the headphone amp feels way more important for me as well as I mix and listen through the headphone port on both

I've heard some people had problems with the volt 2 glitching/popping/cracking. Is this a common problem? I'm considering to buy one, but it's holding me back.

Increase the buffer size to 128. Below that, it will pop or glitch.

For a podcast, which could give me better sound quality ZOOM H6 or a volt 2 interface?

      Thanks for your question!

It really depends on your specific needs.

If your podcast setup primarily involves recording in a studio or fixed location with a limited number of inputs (yourself and a guest), the Volt 2 would be a solid choice. It offers a great balance of performance and affordability, and I prefer the desktop design personally.

On the other hand, if you require a more mobile solution and anticipate recording in different locations or with multiple microphones, the Zoom H6 portable recorder could be the better fit.

It provides some extra mic inputs, along with the flexibility of an XY stereo pair for diverse recording scenarios. (Although I wouldn’t recommend the XY as your primary method of recording voice)

The H6 also allows you to import recordings to a computer via SD card or directly thru USB.

The H6 is more expensive and has many more features, but would benefit greatly from a stand (sold separate I believe). The design reminds me of my old Apogee ONE which was always a pain to work with, (albeit the H6 is more robust than the Apogee design, I personally still prefer a desktop interface.)

In summary, if you value stability and mainly record in a fixed location with one guest at a time, the Volt 2 is a solid, cost-effective choice.

On the other hand, if you require mobility, versatility, and additional inputs for various recording scenarios, the H6 could be the more suitable option for podcasting with multiple guests. Hope this helps. :)
Thanks for watching, Good luck with your podcast!

Think that will come down more to your mic. Zoom is more portable,.

Hi there! This might be a question for UA tech support. I'm not too familiar with the inner workings of the unit, but your issue COULD BE caused by having too low a buffer size for your computer to handle.
You could try increasing your buffer size, or using a low latency mode if your DAW has one. If your think the issue may be with the unit itself it would be best to troubleshoot thru UA support:

Hope this helps, Breezy! Thanks for reaching out

Hello man, in the middle of one of your videos, you had a book. You said that it changed your view of the mix. I can't remember the video or the name of the book. Can you write his name for me
