They have a very famous documentary done on them and it's absolutely heart breaking! So so much talent misplaced 😥 Sera has a UA-cam channel and has reacted to their stuff and talks all about it.
There was also a variety show called "Miss Back" where former idols got the opportunity to sing some new songs. Ryu Sera was on this show, and both her story and Gayoung's (from group Stellar) are truly heartbreaking 😭 Other contestants are: - Raina (After School, Orange Caramel) - Subin (Dalshabet) - Soyul (Crayon Pop) - Yujin (The Ark) - Nada (Wa$$up) Their final song (Finale) is a bop!
Speaking of which, I'm a bit torn on this, but I think Stellar would be good to do a throwback on. Yeah the company was shit, and they exploited the girls, but the music was actually really good, the girls despite it all were really talented. Too bad all the notoriety for the group was because of the extremely super sexy concepts. Not sure Rogue would survive the videos...
@@roguereacts I guess my last reply to you got deleted due to a link. So I'll put it in here again: I can't wait until you get into Stellar, but you better buckle up, most of their videos are extremely sexy, I would say even more so than BEG. However once you get past that, you will find that the music absolutely rocks. I'm just guessing here, but I'm assuming you have Dalshabet on the list as well, they are the senior group to Minx/Dreamcatcher, when DCC was still Happyface. In 9muses wiki page, they mention this: "South Korean media dubbed Nine Muses a "nadallen" (Korean: 나달렌) group, alongside peers Dal Shabet and Rainbow, for having "all of the conditions for success" but none of the luck of more popular groups" Dalshabet, also has a great discography, and Joker is a great song, but here is your warning, this video is a bit dangerous. They didn't lean into the sexy as hard as 9Muses, but as I think you are discovering with 2nd Gen and some early 3rd Gen, a lot of the groups went to sexy concepts that you just don't see any longer. Stellar was kind of forced into it by their company, to try to gain popularity, which worked, but also backfired. It was all they were known for, and gained as much bad attention as good. Oh, I just remembered, if they haven't been mentioned, Spica is another group you should look into that were in the same timeframe. I would put their vocals every bit as strong or stronger in some respects, than Mamamoo, they also didn't get the attention they deserved.
That high note in Dolls after the rap was made by Queen SeRa ❤ And THANKKKKKKSSSS I WATCHED ALL THE 4 VIDEOS 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 Its hard to fins creators that react to 9MUSES Thank U ❤
So glad you enjoyed the video!! 🥰 I'm loving this series so much, I get to explore groups that I wouldn't have really explored and missing out on all these great groups! 🥰
@@roguereacts I'm waiting the day you react to F(X) and T-ARA (AND AOA 😱, I thought you had already reacted to them 😱😱😱) 🥳🥳🥳🥳 I only hope you like it like me... They were and are for me with 9MUSES and GFriend my ultimate favorite groups 🥺 :3 Edit#2: OMG, I thought you had already reacted to SISTAR too 🤣🤣🤣 Well, I'm waiting for all 😅😅😅
Someone probably already mentioned it (or maybe even you have by now, I haven't seen all your 9muses vids yet) but Sera, a former 9Muses member, has a reaction channel and is a MASSIVE Dreamcatcher fan and interviewed them. It was so good. She's SO sweet! :)
Thank you for giving them a chance! 💜 The note at the end of Doll's rap is Sera. And i was obsessed with their rap line too. lol I didn't really care for rap when i first got into kpop, but EUAerin, Moonbyul and Dami made me appreciate it. I think they didn't blow up more because they were from a small company and the competition around their era was super tough (SNSD, Shinee, Big Bang, 2NE1, T-ARA, Super Junior, KARA, Wonder Girls, etc). Looking forward to your Gfriend & SNSD's deep dives. 😁
i sure hope we're not in 5th gen yet cus u started listening to kpop in the early-mid 2010s(so lateish 2nd gen and i only got really In It fully in 3rd gen, like i was on the casual side 2012-16 just to overshare a little) and i still feel like it wasnt that long ago xp emotional damage this selection. that dance break was a personal attack i love ticket so much. every once in a while your brain just going ticket one way ticket one way one way one way one way ticket(spins arms) is so much fun cant wait to see who the first four solos are gonna be! ^^♡
Fantastic! And who knew Mnet suddenly had the most liberal live stage listing policy! That’s a change. These live stages are incredible, without fail. The original MV for Sleepless Night tells a story I think you’d like. And of course the group looks amazing. No Sera though. I encourage you to watch the two OT4 videos on your own. Remember has a serious Chase Me vibe to it, and Love City is a certified bop. Thanks again for this bounty of 9Muses content Rogue.
I have a few of those on the list!! 🥰 We are going to take a little break after the next four and do start the Solo Series then will be going back to the Throwback! 🥰
If u like women girl group don't miss on these Jewelery - they are 1st gen idols with fun mature music 😗. After school - in their debut days they were called the korean pussycat dolls and they are 2nd gen idols. Secret _ they were known for their sexy but fun dances. Sistar - they have great vocalists and fun but hot dancing, also they spread the athletic body during a time where stick legs is the trend. 4Minute - Hyuna = sexy dance. Rainbow - same as secret, fun but sexy in mature way dancing. Thats it 😉🎶🎶🎶
You should check out the dance practice videos, Wild is way better than MV or live, for me after Sera left the group was never the same. Dalshabet, After School and their spin off Orange Caramel are other groups you should check out, really enjoyed watching these great tracks with you.
This wild live performance is still one of my favorite K-pop stages to date. They were such good performers and vocalists with incredbile stage presence and charisma. Still very sad what they had to go through but sadly also not the only group with a troubled career. I recommend checking out Stellar next as a throwback series. They were basically the group that introduced the sexy concept to K-pop and a lot of girl groups followed suit at the time. It was later revealed by the members themselves that they were forced and blackmailed to do these publicity stunts, but they are still remembered as having one of the best discographies to date.
These girls GAVE! Vocals! Rap! Visuals!
24:01 that's dance break only for special stage 😂
They have a very famous documentary done on them and it's absolutely heart breaking! So so much talent misplaced 😥 Sera has a UA-cam channel and has reacted to their stuff and talks all about it.
I seen some of Sera's YT stuff, she's absolutely lovely!! 🥰
That performance of Wild is probably among my top 5 most watched live stages ever. Maybe even top 2.
Queen of synchronized dance 😊😊
they do have some great sync'd choreo!
You can check their Figaro stage too..I really love this song

awwww 😔 I've watched some of Sera's stuff on youtube she seems like such a lovely person, so that's heartbreaking to hear

Ticket was the first 9Muses song I ever heard. It was instrumental in me getting into kpop.
Ticket has a great instrumental!!
Nine Muses is my childhood! I love these women!
They are great! 🥰
ticket also has a music video. also this was back when most kpop groups sang live. the good old days
Will definitely be watching it on my own time! Love the song!

I watched the interview and it was just soooo sweet and adorable!! I ended up watching all of her DC videos 🤣🥰
25:04 she's the one you always said that you like her voice.. their leader, sera
Thank you for giving them a chance! 💜

Omg dolls and ticket! What a thriwbackkk

🤣 I agree these live stages are amazing! I'm going to have to watch the Sleepless Night MV
Thank you for watching!
I hope you can react to more underrated 2nd gen/early 3rd gen groups in the future, like Dalshabet, Rainbow, Fiestar, Hellovenus, BESTie, etc. 😁
I have a few of those on the list!! 🥰 We are going to take a little break after the next four and do start the Solo Series then will be going back to the Throwback! 🥰

It's very good!! I love the song too so seeing the live was awesome!
I have Stellar on my list! Probably won't get to them for a few months though 😔
💟💟💟
💙💙💙💙
Why do you get scared or annoyed by women being sexy on stage?
From what I understand, it's not that she doesn't like it lol, it's that she didn't expect Dolls and Sleepless Night to be Sexy.
Bullshit with Gens term.. even the boys and girls are never advise that. Just enjoy their performances and set on our playlists
Thank you so much for reacting to them! Like those are my mothers
thank you for watching! 😊
