I really have come to love this group. Their personalities feel so accessible, and I think it would be fun to hang out with them. This is one of my favorites from them. I particularly like Solar's part where she says come here.
They're also my musical happy place. 😂 Gogobebe was the final title track from their four album 4 Season 4 Color project. It was the Winter/White song and it came out in late winter in March 2019. It takes a few listens and views to figure out how the song and MV fit into the conceptual scheme of the 4S4C project. Here are a few of my thoughts about it. The White stage of the four part relationship cycle is the Innocence of youth prior to sexual awakening or in this case Unattached since at this point in the 4S4C project they've already cycled through the stages of Attraction, Passion and Heartbreak. In the Fall/Blue song Wind Flower they went through the Heartbreak of a breakup and then entered a winter of emotional hibernation. At the beginning of the Gogobebe MV we see each member stuck in a different rut: Solar is agoraphobic and housebound, Hwasa is so depressed she can't even get dressed or make it out of the bathroom, Moonbyul is trapped in a stifling office environment doing a dead end job with antique technology, and Wheein's self-esteem is so low even the kids don't respect her and pull a prank on her. But just like Winter is part of the natural cycle of life their emotional withdrawal has been a necessary phase they had to go through. The invitation to a house party acts as a wakeup call and a reminder that even if you don't feel at your best you still have to get on with life. They each fantasize about the party while isolated and then dress up and get together at the end to put aside their troubles and dance. The kids' pranks represent the innocent, free spirited mischievousness of youth that's been lying dormant under the emotional blanket of snow and is finally ready to emerge like daffodils coming up in late winter as harbingers of spring, kinda like Moonbyul crashing through the ceiling of her office and coming up through the sidewalk lol. Spring is right around the corner and with it will come spring fever and the next stage in the relationship cycle, Attraction. Mamamoo themselves become the spirit of youth when they crash the book club or study session and turn it into a party, reminding the young people to seize the day and not take everything so seriously all the time. Moonbyul's numerical rap is an in-joke with the fandom. MMM likes to play with letter, number and word substitutions and this rap verse is one of the cleverest. "Nine slash six, six nineteen, nine slash six, gogobebe!" can be translated as "Work, Debut, Work, Party!" Nine to six is the standard Korean work day. June 19th is the day MMM debuted in 2014. Gogobebe is just a fun way of spelling Go, Go, Baby and the song is aka 9966 with 9 replacing g and 6 replacing b. Byul's rap line can also be written numerically as 9 / 6, 6 19, 9 / 6, 9966. Note that 9 / 6, 6 19 is a palindrome with the slash becoming a 1 when reversed. Put it all together and the full meaning of "Work, Debut, Work, Party!" is "We've been working nonstop ever since we debuted and it's time to Par-tay!!" You'll also find similar word, letter and number playfulness in Hwasa's "Me, me, 4 with the sun" rap during MMM's song Yes I Am (which translates to "I love myself") and in Moonbyul's solo song G999.
Fun fact: this video features a predebut cameo by ZanyBros artist AleXa, wearing the red jumpsuit in the background of Wheein's scenes on the merry-go-round and as the study group leader with the striped shirt and glasses. AleXa is the only in-house artist at ZB, the video production company created a music division to hire her!

I agree, they would be the kind of people where you would come home and your abs and cheeks would hurt from the constant laughing.
They're my happy pill.
That is such a perfect description! -Kay

One of the best things about Mamamoo is how they include a lot of meaning and easter eggs in their songs. Gives a moomoo a treat!
