Aiah didn't actually apologize for calling out weird fan behavior. In fact Aiah and the rest of the BINI girls have doubled down on calling out weird fan behaviors these past few months. They've always been very firm when it comes to their stand on things. They've also said in interviews that ever since Aiah and the other girls spoke up about these things, people have become more respectful of their personal space (tho still some people can't wrap their heads around it).

A great album! My favs are too bad for us, stay a little longer and two years. As soon as I heard toxic till the end I also had to think of Taylor Swift haha. You confused me for a second when you said it said it sounded like fireflies cuz I thought of dreamcatcher's fireflies😂 it's so nice to hear her tell her own story, all in all a really nice album to close the year with!

Not sure if you have the whole show with young ji or not but it's a great show with a little 3 mix performing Domino that was great. They have also released a festive M/V with Magical that is perfect for the holidays, Jeongyeon and Momo are dressed as kinda snowmen but to me look like unicorns and Sana well I really don't know what she is but it's Sana so of course she looks perfect. The Music Bank performance is not my favorite because of Sana's outfit and how the show dealt with the issue. Basically, Sana's dress looked completely fine when she wasn't dancing, but when she was dancing, it revealed more than what was intended. The safety shorts seemed to not fit properly. They went up more and more as the performance went on (I definitely blame the stylist for this). In her fancam video for her performance, people (mostly men) were leaving disgusting comments. A little over a day later, the fancam was removed, which makes me very upset as a Sana bias (she's my ult bias). I would have still liked the fancam to be available on the channel, but maybe they could have just turned the comments off. Idk, "fans" can be really immature and disgusting

The video is actually wrong on the reason their parent company (ABS-CBN) was shut down in 2020. It was much bigger than mere financial issues. The government of the Philippines shut down ABS-CBN as political revenge. From 2016 to 2022, is probably one of the darkest times in contemporary Philippines history. The Duterte administration ran on the so-called War on Drugs. The government ran vigilante style Death Squads that will gun down and murder anyone accused of using drugs. No ifs and buts, if you happen to be on someone's shit list and this said person happen to be more privileged than you, then you are dead by sun up the next day. No trials, tests, or any of the boring stuff. They just shoot you down. Most of the members of these so called death squads are actual police officers/military personnel in active duty. There have been about 30,000+ Filipino victims so far with the Duterte administration officially recognizing about 6000 so far. All of those were happening with almost universal support from most Filipinos. People like me who said stood up against these killings online were mobbed up on, and many prominent opposition leaders were jailed and sentenced to years in prison, with one (at the time) sitting senator basically accused of being a mafia boss and that she uses her womanly charm to seduce people into doing her bidding (they of course had no evidence of this but it was such a shit show that they even showed an obviously fake video of her in what is essentially porn as the primary evidence, and called her names. She was a sitting senator at the time and she spent 7 years in custody awaiting her trial). As of last year, she has been acquitted of every single one of these charges with many witnesses against her retracting all their accusations). Anyway I wrote up all that context because Bini's parent company did the barebones minimum of actually acting like journalists and questioning the Duterte administrations tenure in government. It also just happens that ABS-CBN's broadcasting franchise was up for renewal. They are a media conglomerate but the original industry they started out as is a TV broadcaster and it still forms a significant portion of their revenue). Anyway, it was a circus during the public hearings. Duterte admin literally controlled the government (he has a 85% rating approval until his last day in office) so they made a shit show out of the whole thing. First up was congress. All the public hearings was essentially prosecuting ABS CBN for every personal gripes they have. The ppublic hearings in congress actually didn't even have to happen because it's not actually up to them to renew the broadcasting right. It was actually up to the executive level government entity that regulates those frequency in the Philippines. Of course it was also a shit show and the government denied the renewal. As the cherry on top of this shit show cake, ABS-CBN managed to get this thing up to the Supreme Court. And guess what happened? The Supreme Court sided with the Duterte admin so yeah, the whole government of the Philippines shut down ABS-CBN with such vitriol and malicious intent that you can see how painful it is with Bini and the other employees of ABS-CBN at the time. The only reason ABS-CBN was able to survive this was because it exist in the age of UA-cam and the company had a pretty successful international broadscaster portion which is carried through various international cable TV. The government had every intent on killing them off completely, it's why they went after the broadcasting rights renewal. The whole timeline of the circus was something like January 2020 to September 2020. ABS-CBN was announcing they are going off the air in September 2020 and you can see how shell-shocked everyone was while they were announcing it. This is also during Bini's pre-debut phase so imagine all the horror they were going through. ABS-CBN is still off the air to this day, even though they are 'back' on the air in the Philippines. Thier previous frequency bands have been sold off to other companies and they are only capable of airing on thier old channel (Channel 2) because they made deals with the current rights owner to be able to air their programs. The moniker 'Nation's Girl Group' gets a whole new meaning, doesn't it? It's not some cutesy self-proclaimed thing.
