I think it's important to mention that Jakob tested positive for Covid the day after his race after mentioning he didn't feel too well right before his race

Jacob actually said that he would have done many things differently if he had known he would have feel that shitty that night… later when he went back home he performed a Covid test and actually tested positive… it was a thrilling race anyway!!

Jakob is known for not having a lethal kick. He always pushes the pace to try and kill the kick out of other runners' legs. I'm interested what would you change if you were his coach? Would you keep the same strategy or train him up to have a lethal kick?

As a fan, I always prefer a generally fast 1500 over a tactical sit&kick 1500. Thanks to the guys like J. Ingebrigtsen, Tefera, Cheruyiot, Kipsang, McSweyn etc we have seen a lot of fast races in recent seasons and I believe there are more to come.
