If you improve your technique to a more powerlifting style you're going to have that 3 plates!
powerlifting now banned those ridiculous arches...
@@tamp4x I'm not saying that Nick should do an insane arch, I'm just saying he could modify his technique by using more leg drive or using his lats more, etc.
Man I have soo much respect for you! You read my ig message about your 280 bench press on this channel responded and than you respond with this I feel like I'm a part of this now lol good job man I hit 315 myself last Monday. 175lbs 2 years lifting wright's
great job, love the discipline and dedication
Going from 255 to 315 in 30 days is super ambitious. I stated 1 Jan at 205 and in 90 days have made it to 245 which is speedy. Lifting heavy sets once a week and hypertrophy 6-7 reps another time a week.
Still climbing that 500 lb deadlift / sub 5 mile ladder, keep on it! I’d like to meet you in person after I finish it.
Don’t wanna give you anything bad because that is impressive. But that’s not very speedy, I was 15 I hit only 155 and a month later I hit 190 so it isn’t that hard but going up 60 lbs will take probably 60-90 days
But I do respect what you do
@@sammy_kershaw2893 Do you remember what bodyweight you were when you hit those numbers?
@@kevinlin8674 body weight was 160
How close are you to 500DL/5 min mile?
That’s impressive, my dad when he was 17 he benched 315lbs which is his all time best. You are an inspiration.
Jesus. Hitting your all time best at 17.. he never benched again after high school or what?
@@patricklang7162 he stopped benching and stuff but he's getting back into it now.
@@doctoroftardis5135 cool. Good for him. Hopefully can one day hit 315 for reps. Good luck to
Him
Getting to 315 in 30 days is going to be damn near impossible. I'd say a 40-45lbs increase at the most for 30 days. He can definitely reach 300lbs.
@@lonerunner89 well we were talking about this dudes dad when he was 17 and now, not Nick. There is no way in hell Nick gets to 315 in 30 days. I doubt he could get there in 90 days from 255
When are you planning on making a video about your progress?
Bench press is my favorite
Throw some leg drive in your bench , will help a lot
I've been stress testing this program for the last few weeks and can say with 100% certainty that THIS PROGRAM WORKS! Join me for the 30 Day Bench Press Challenge, you must be signed up before April 1. Sign up here: www.nicksymmondsfitapp.com/challenge
280 is legit beasting
I can't live without running
Good job Nicky 😍
Post more running videos
My dad benched 465 back then at 165 he just got back to it now 315
W
such a scam, let us do the challenge for free and not drag us into trying to make us pay, it’s not “completely free”
Its amazing to me you are an olympic athlete and have a full business related to fitness but from the likes of this video your bench form could be way better. If you incorporated leg drive into your form I know for a fact you could hit 275 every single time you try it.
Not an expert, but what if you add an arch to your bench press? And is it me or are you not using leg drive (once again not an expert)
You can arch a bit and use leg drive, just make sure ass doesn’t come off the bench.
hows the sub 5 mile and 500 deadlift going rn?
My bench pr is 200 pounds when I started watching nick a could only do 115
This is the one lift i can beat Nick at lol
I’m on a calorie deficit, do you recommend me to join it still? Feel like I won’t get stronger on my cut
Yeah man! Still workout and eat high protein to retain maximum muscle
Max Vitamin
Is it free ?
That app is free to download and the first seven days are free. Then it is $15/mo after that. So to participate in the challenge will cost you $15.
