BBC star John Hunt 'too devastated for words' after deaths of wife and two daughters

  • BBC commentator John Hunt has issued a heart-wrenching statement after his wife and two daughters were tragically killed in a crossbow attack at their home.
    John and his surviving daughter Amy expressed their devastation following the horrific deaths of Carol Hunt, 61, and her daughters Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25. The three women were discovered with fatal injuries at their residence in Bushey, Hertfordshire, on Tuesday.
    Mr Hunt and Amy thanked people for the support they have received over recent days as they paid tribute to their loved ones, adding that the messages have provided comfort to them amid the unthinkable tragedy. In the heart wrenching statement, Mr Hunt and his daughter expressed how the trauma they are experiencing "cannot be put into words" and asked for space to begin the grieving process."Carol Hunt, 61, and her daughte rs Hannah, 28, and Louise, 25, were found fatally injured at their home in the peaceful cul-de-sac of Ashlyn Close in Bushey, Hertfordshire, just after 7pm on Tuesday. A crossbow was later recovered from the scene by Hertfordshire Police as part of their ongoing investigation.
    The shocking incident triggered a manhunt for 26 year old Kyle Clifford. He was later discovered in Lavender Hill Cemetery in Enfield, north London, with serious injuries on Wednesday afternoon. Authorities have since confirmed that a man was arrested on suspicion of three counts of murder on Thursday evening,In their statement shared on Saturday morning, Mr Hunt and his daughter Amy said: "The devastation that we are experiencing cannot be put into words. We would like to thank people for their kind messages and for the support we have received in recent days. These have provided great comfort to us for which we are very grateful. As you can imagine, this is an extremely difficult time for us, and we need time and space to come to terms with what has happened and start the grieving process.
