- Over 600 lawyers, among them senior advocate Harish Salve and Bar Council of India chairman Manan Kumar Mishra, have addressed Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud, expressing apprehensions regarding the conduct of a "specific interest group" which they allege is tarnishing the Judiciary's reputation.

He is so correct that any argument against it will holds no ground at all. Why some sr most councillors always want SC to steps in and give judgement according to their convenience, Reason is most of SC judges selection , they favour some way or other. It's often seen SC remains very accommodating in high profile personalities and behaves very differently in case of common citizens
Luckily we are not that gullible that we cannot distinguish between a lie &something totally false. .
.Thanks to the transparency brought about by the supreme court we can actually see what's happening &decide for ourselves whose arguments are credible.

One of the best ways is that the Supreme Court must give opportunities to young lawyers to argue. The senior lawyers have made crores out of the same system that they criticise.
Addressed at his instance. How can he not back it? Wonder why lawyers are engaging and executing letters that are ex facie designed to divide the lawyers. Immature. Rather lawyers should have sat together and talk with the judges. This kind of publicity is a sure way to attack the judiciary. Am ashamed to be a lawyer. Judges should not appoint judges. Only Executive with the consent of the Legislature should do that. Only India has this corrupt system of judges appointing judges.

To the best of my knowledge PMLA was enacted during Vajpayee's rule. Why Congress which was in power for 10 years from 2004 did not amend the PMLA if it was drackonian.
Every 'bad' law becomes worse with successive government, because everyone wants to use it to their own advantage. Virtue signaling only when people are out of power.
Till then it was fine. But after ammendments in 2018 by BJP it became worst. That means BJP can easily use ED CBI and say ur guilty until proven innocent. Even if 0 evidence is there.

Supreme court advises lower courts to grant bail, while its own bench denies bail. Their advice and actions are contradictory.
