I just bought the same bag from a seller in Japan. The pics look quite dingy so I can’t wait to use the products you have in the video. I hope it works too. Yay!
What a great and useful video! Your bag is gorgeous!! I just received my vintage suede Lady Dior with deep gold hardware. Any suggestions on what to do to clean it? It’s also got a slight perfume odor that I’d love to get rid of!
You definitely want to look for a cleaner that is safe fur suede. unfortunately I don't have any recommendations on a cleaner since I don't have suede bags. As for the smell you can try putting it in a plastic container with a bag of activated charcoal. I believe they sell it on Amazon. Leave it in there for a few days and it should get rid of the smell. Also it would help to stuff the inside of the bag with some newspaper and change it out every couple days. The newspaper will absorb the smell
Hi there . I’m about to get my bag like yours and I also would like to clean the lint off the material. Can you pls tell me how you cleaned your bag? Thanks in advace
@@joyreyes1213 My bag didn't have lint on it but I think you could gently use a lint shaver to remove any kind of lint. As for cleaning the bag I showed what I used to clean it in the vid and listed it in the description :)
Just amazing! I like that you didn't saturate the bag with water. I can't see a good outcome if that happens...fabric might pucker etc. Can a dry cleaner clean a denim bag? Also was the Woolite a carpet cleaner? Thanks so much
yes, a dry cleaner would make the bag look new again. I used woolite mostly as a fresher upper since there wasn't any staining, just slight discoloration from normal usage and it worked perfectly 😉 its the woolite for carpet and upholstery
the structure more or less stayed the same. but while the bag is damp, it would help to stuff it and maybe use some books placed on the side of it (not on top) to help keep the shape until it dries.
hello, it worked great. didn't change the overall color, removed some of the discoloration, didn't warp the shape and gave it a great smell. No negatives :)
@@euro_babe Thank you, I am going to try it tomorrow on my dior nylon bag. I am so excited to try this because my bag was sticky and a bit musky. I will let you know when I try it. :)
@@Chiarandklay yes, please let me know how it works out. I've never tried it on a bag that was sticky and I know some vintage Dior's have that issue. good luck!
Im currently cleaning my lady dior in microfibre. Ive done this process 2 times. Soapy cloth way 3 times prior. And its still dirty. How many times did you clean yours? Thanks .
@@janelalorenzo9208 I only cleaned mine once but the dirt was just surface deep so it didnt need a deep cleaning. if yours is heavily soiled and is material I would suggest bringing it to the dry cleaners that specializes in cleaning luxury bags. i brought a coach bag that had leather and material to the dry cleaners before and it looked new after
no i didn't notice any yellowing on it. the woolite did a great job of removing any surface dirt. I wasn't using the bag much though so I sold it a few months later
yes it should work on any canvas, but you can do a test patch on a small area on the bottom of the bag. this cleaning method didn't change the color on my bag at all, it just cleaned off the dirt :)
if it's waterproof im not sure how you would clean it since i don't believe this method i used would work. I would suggest taking it to a dry cleaners that deals with luxury items to see what they would suggest. Ive brought a bag of mine that was canvas and leather to my dry cleaner and it came back looking new for only $25
yes this method should work on nylon as well if it's dirty and not deteriorated. some of the nylon bags have a stickiness to them, thats when you know the material is deteriorated and imo, not salvageable
@@euro_babe thank you! My bag is arriving next week, will check if it’s sticky but as far as seller mention it’s not. Thank u for quick response. I appreciate it. ❤️
I just bought this bag and I was looking for a video about dyeing it. I will definitely try your cleaning method before I make a final decision.
Did you end up dying it? I just dyed my nylon one and it actually turned out alright!

Thanks for this video. I wanted to ask you what website did you order from Japan. I wanted a bag like that

How do you get items from Japan? How much was it?
TheEl1T3Gamer EBay there’s tons of sellers on there
Hi how's your dior bag after cleaning with woolite? Did it damage the bag? Or did it change the color or the shape? Thanks! Find ur video helpful

@@euro_babe thanks for answering my questions!
I just bought a vintage denim bag that is leather lined. Do you think this would be safe to use?
this one was all material, I would be very cautious not to get the leather wet
From where you baying this bags.
will this work for the pink Dior canvas bag?
yes it should work on any canvas, but you can do a test patch on a small area on the bottom of the bag. this cleaning method didn't change the color on my bag at all, it just cleaned off the dirt :)
What material is inside these kind of bags? Feels like flimsy cardboard
I'm not sure, but yes it does feel like there is a cardboard-ish structure within the lining
I have a vintage dior beige bag and the material is waterproof, how can I clean it? Safely😅

eurobabe wow thank you sooo much!!! Only problem is, I don’t trust the dry cleaners 🥺🤣 need to find a good one who deals with luxury items
hi, how do you remove the bad smell of the bag?
you can try to leave it to air in the garage in the summer for a few weeks.. it always clear any smell on anything..
how about nylon lady dior bag?
yes this method should work on nylon as well if it's dirty and not deteriorated. some of the nylon bags have a stickiness to them, thats when you know the material is deteriorated and imo, not salvageable
