I have been singing with your videos for nearly a year now, and am the most relaxed vocally I think I have ever been. Thank you for keeping us singing through the pandemic, and for helping us take really good care of our voices.
You are so welcome!
Thank you Jeff for your passion and commitment.
Shalom aleichem :) ✡️
Let the good times rolka! ;) Thanks so much Jeff, you're awesome 🙏🏼☯️
Thank you for that! I see what you did there!
Jeff
I love your monthly videos. Thank you for everything you do!
Hey Jeff this video took your instructions and teaching to a new level. The new camera set up and the change in speed are extremely well done. From another person who plays music I like how I can watch your fingers like a metronome and visually picture the depth or height of the notes. I hope Christ willing you have an amazing weekend. 🎼 🎸 🌕
Yes thank you, sir.
Finally warm up with some hard level riff & run exercise that frustrate my incompetence 😭😭
Great warm up, super efficient. Thanks Jeff!
Without any further ado at 0:14 😉 Thanks Jeff! 🐯

Great 🎶🎶
Thank you for the good content Jeff! I use your videos befor I go into a recording with my fellow barrys. I sing in my church youth choir and your videos always help my voice to be stronge and clear! I do appreciate your help!
Doing this one from our tour van in DC! Thank you Jeff, you've transformed my singing
That's awesome! Thanks for watching and break a leg!
Jeff
That last exercise is deceptively challenging, but I'll keep at it. I'm really getting better thru the numerous videos of yours that I've used, and It's really helping my voice get stronger and, really, improve in a number of ways, and it shows when I sing my own songs. Really enjoying and learning so much from this new discipline I am applying thru you videos. Thank you!!
You're welcome! Thanks for the details and enjoy the videos! Keep singing!
Jeff
GREAT VIDEO MATE!
Thank you!
number 1
I love you
Big love right back at you!
Jeff
im gonna try this one tomorrow, the one you made 4 years ago always makes me lose my voice.
Thank you for your comment and thanks for trying out the video. None of these should result in hoarseness or vocal fatigue. If they are, assess your appoggio practice. There's far too much engagement at the vocal fold which would suggest that you're not really 'supporting' to use the common parlance. If you do feel that fatigue, stop, reevaluate, and try again another time.
I hope that helps!
Jeff
Hi Jeff - wondered this for awhile, when going over and below the "sicando visagio" (sorry i can't spell that) - is it sort of like going from full voice to falseto ? Cause doing your warm ups all the time there's a definate "click" that my voice now does naturally, but i'm still singing those higher notes in a falseto... i just cannot hit any of those higher notes in the last few exercises. All the best, 7 gigs this month!! WOOHOO!!
I'm going to do your question for 'Questions from Comments 22'. I will hopefully be able to shed some light on this with some demonstrations and a bit of explanation.
Thanks for a great question!
Jeff
@@JeffRolka look forward to it. And as always thank you for your videos. I've really felt like I am gaining more and more control for my 4 hour gigs. I'm still loosing my high register at the end of my 2nd gig (2 days in a row), but I know like muscle it has to strengthen. I've just never found ways to advance and your channel is my solution. Ps I went from rock and metal bands to theater backup singing now to 1man band. So it's been a journey. Cheers Jeff ✌️✌️
Good Morning Jeff ! I’ve been hearing some male singers who seem to sing quite high and I think they are tenors. They say no I’m a baritone. What’s the difference between a tenor and a baritone as far as the vocal range ? Thanks if you answer. xx
Thanks, for writing in Alice. You, a baritone? I would discount those individuals’ feedback based on that alone. Between the lowest tenor and highest baritone fachs only a semitone difference at the secondo passaggio. That is, of course, only one metric.
@@JeffRolka Okay 👍 I’m teaching again and it’s confusing to me. Thx x
I’m sorry Jeff I wrote that wrong . I mean to say that the new students I now have tell me they are not Tenors. They say their vocal range is that of a baritone. (Not me). Thanks for answering. Your the best! Xx
