These sound vaguely familiar... takes me back 25 - 30 years! I had an uncle who used to read us such things as King John was not a good man, Christopher Robin went down with Alice, and also the Just so stories by Kipling. Interesting to hear them now, from an adult's perspective...
@TheElvisa Thanks for the nice comments :-) No, I don't have any kids of my own, but I have two step-daughters, aged 28 and 19. My partner also has a neighbour with a daughter who is about 2 yrs 2 months and she is such fun to play with! But I don't read stories to anyone. I have recordings of my father reading to me when I was a child, and I hear the similarity to me. I just LOVE those poems, which is why I seem more animated. I'm still working on my comfort level when recording videos.
I remember when I was a boy, one of the classes did this as a play. You know, as something they worked on in class, then show to the rest of the school.
@AuntieDiluvian Yeah, I thought they were both really funny! You can see me smiling when Sir Brian says "Take THAT! And THAT! And THAT!" I think The Knight Whose Armour Didn't Squeak is funnier though. Thanks for the comment :-)
@finlarg Yeah... I still find the humorous ones funny. "Take THAT, and THAT, and THAT!" is a bit like Punch and Judy, it still appeals to the kid in me :-)
@TheElvisa 2 I looked at your channel, two lovely videos of your daughter. And a male stripper! You should try some straight-to-camera stuff. It's FUN! And like me, you won't be great to start with, but the sooner you start, the sooner you'll start to improve!

I LOVED Bad Sir Brian as a kid - it made me laugh uproariously. The other AA Milne I loved was James James Morrison Morrison Weatherby George Dupris.
