Wow! Aside from the Subaru, Charade and the Isuzu, there was a point that I loved and wanted every one of those cars growing up in Jamaica. I have a memory of someone with every single one of those cars at the drag strip or on the road with an encounter.
GTR is light years ahead in acceleration. Would be interesting to see a head to head with Supra 2.5GTT. IF 3.0 is this competitive with 7M, 1J should destroy R32?
Nope, Supra's never made to be competitive with GTR's or NSX's. It wasn't it's purpose. Supra's main purpose was to be a high speed sport cruiser, a heavy one. Even when it was still being manufactured, Toyota never tried to compete with RX7, GTR or NSX. Besides, the technology in those cars was much more advanced. Supra's are very nice, but that's not their purpose.
It depends what model this Supra is, because in 1990 the 1JZ-GTE was already available on the MKIII. Should look in the beginning of the video if the Supra was a JZA70 which as name show it, got the 1JZ engine. Or if this a MA70 Supra which only got the 7M engine.
But the first gen 1jz wasnt as good as the third gen. The supra mk3 only got the first gen 1jz, which is only a parallel twin-turbocharged. To beat the GTR R32 in straight speed, it would need a third gen 1jz which got VVTI and the Toyota BEAMS architecture which got more torque and power.

さて、ポルシェが、９２４から始まるトランスアクスルのＦＲをやめてＲＲの９１１シリーズのみとしたのか。
自分の推測ですが、クルマの運動性とは、重量配分の均等化によるタイヤの接地圧の均質化よりも、マスの集中化による運動モーメントの縮小の方が効果が高いという事なんでしょうね。
つまり、トランスアクスルを使う事によって、重量物が分散しモーメントアームが生じて、期待程の運動性の向上がなされなかった。という事なんでしょう。
それであるなら、造り慣れたＲＲの９１１の方が特性を知り尽くしており、若干後ろ寄りとはいえ、マスの集中化がなされ、より運動性の高いクルマが造れる。という事なんでしょうね。
