You guys might consider selling a whole kit. Someone buys the kit, sends in the ECU, and you send all required peripherals back with the ECU. Would make things simpler for people like me while simultaneously offering a little extra money per tune given a partnership can be established for the parts.
I appreciate Nate says the torque in the correct way, lb feet. Torque should always be the mass at set distance from the pivot point....like Newtons at one metre....pounds at one foot 👍🏻
Fantastic. I'm assuming this will increase intake resonance and noise, but probably not unbearable. Since this stuff is buried beneath the tank, there's no increased risk of water or excess dirt getting funneled toward it, I assume.
If I buy the new DNA and send in my ECU to y'all again to update it. Is it considered a full tune $350 or a lower fee? Thanks and love the tune & Leo exhaust you sold me.
When tuning bikes with different power modes, do you apply a different tune to each power setting? Also the MT09SP has adjustable engine braking settings, does each setting get a different tune? Anything else different about tuning the SP?
Is there any reason for an average skill level rider to with an MT-09 SP instead of a base model MT-09? Based on what I've seen from you, it seems like the base model is pretty competent suspension wise.
Going to depend on your throttle application. If you're in 6th gear on the highway with the cruise set, hovering in the 4-5k rpm range for hours, probably little to no measurable difference in fuel being consumed since it may only take 12-15 horsepower to move the bike and your body against the wind at that speed. But as it is, when people have more power available, people tend to access that power more often instead of the computer (and hardware) limiting access to power and thereby not providing the fuel to make that power (and using less fuel). Make sense? Even though EPA restricts emissions quantities and noise levels, and manufacturer compliance results in some lean operating conditions and this often creates decent fuel mileage, it doesn't mean the riding experience is that great.
@@exothermal.sprocket Fuel economy could just as wel be better, as the midrange power / torque increased, can ride it a bit more lazy on the street. As you already mentioned, the right hand decides.
Different dynos, different altitude, different climate, different starting numbers. It's been explained elsewhere that racing two identical bike models, each tuned with the same aftermarket parts in separate facilities, yielding different final HP numbers, raced side-by-side on a highway in the same location can often have the "lower quoted HP" bike being faster than the "higher quoted HP" bike. Just too many factors to hang on final numbers. Get a quality tune, get everything dialed in, all the data-logging for street and track done, all the deceleration map numbers adjusted, and enjoy the bike. A 2-3 hp difference from one shop vs. another is not a 1:1 system. The issue is the time, care, R&D, guarantee, reputation of the shop that's tuning it.
We have a less generous, and more honest, dyno than most other tuners out there. Both of our Dynojet 250i dynos read within 1hp of each other on a 200whp bike.
@@2wheeldynoworks In the end it's about the gains at the same dyno. Comparing to others is useless 🤣 Love how you approach things, testing all combinations. Lot of work but separates you from others that just try to make a few dollars with the least input. Have you ever been testing exhausts from RoadsItalia ? And do you have options for overseas (EU) customers ?
Hi, there is a Video that guy made to compare you and the other tuner, and its not good for you, amd i dont think its ok and lot of people deciding between you and the other guy….maybe you can react or defend cause we also have to know who to choose
That dude has been posting that review on every page/forum imaginable. It's kind of ridiculous at this point. I've seen nothing but good things said from all Gen4 MT-09 Owners (including Gen4 MT-09 SP) who got their ECU flashed from 2WDW. I choose to believe the majority. Not one random dude who apparently had issues

I would buy it
I would too
I would buy it too
A performance upgrade kit & ecu tune would be awesome!
It would be pretty interesting to know what a full system, airbox mods and a tune to suit cost. I would probably go for the M10 instead 😝

But ft lbs sounds better. :)
Fantastic.

How’s the gas mileage with this filter? Much of an impact with all that extra air?
Hi have you tested this dna kit with standard exhaust, with your optimize settings to see what the gain is or "only" with different special exhaust?
Do you have the data for blackwidow full lengths?

do you guys have a tune for the kelpi exhausts?
I have already had my Gen 4 dyno tuned. If I buy this and drop it in, will i still get decent gains without retuning it?
Do you get more intake noise while riding?
If I have understood correctly, is there a loss of power at low revs? Or am I wrong?

They do adjust per every different power mode/setting.

if you plan on going to the track get the sp. other wise the regular is plenty good .
Stupid question: is there a big mpg difference after installing everything since the bike needs more fueling?

If you are thinking about having 2wdw flash your ecu etc. STOP THINKING ABOUT IT AND DO IT! made a massive difference to the performance of my bike
Sc project makes 2 less hp than Yoshi? ccyclenut got 119 with Yoshi full system. I would think the sc project would make more power.

Just drill the air box to let more air in👍
