- The Ducati Hypermotard 950 is truly an experience. It has many flaws, one could find a million reasons for not wanting to get one. And yet… There is one big reason why this, despite its shortcomings, is has become one of my favourite motorcycles of all time! Enjoy!

Bought my RVE (because you get that QS and AB ;), and a cool livery) this year, and spent the whole summer blasting around Schwarzwald and the Swiss Alps. The tighter and curvier a road gets, the better this insane machine gets. Most fun you can have with your pants on.
Best bike out there.. had mine 2 years and its done everything - touring, off-road, trackdays 👌🏼
Off road? Poor bike :)))

How far did you go?

Really well done video. As a 2023 hypermotard and 2022 panigale v4 owner i find the hyper more of a challenge to ride hard and smooth which is why i love it
I can see why
You have an illegal low amount of subscribers considering how good you are at making these videos.
Haha thanks :) I’m glad you like them
I picked up my hypermotard 950 for my birthday this past August and it was one of the best - worst financial decisions I ever made 😂.
If you get one enjoy it and of course get the termignoni exhaust 😉
That's got to be a lovely birthday gift... I can only imagine how good it sounds with some extra Termi magic added on top :)
I got myself a standard Hypermotard earlier this year, and it's super rare here in Mumbai. Can completely relate to everything you've said about the bike! It's a piece of (noisy) art.
First time I’ve come across one of your videos and I’m very impressed with the filmography and overall quality of the review. Well done! You got a new subscriber from North America!
Thanks mate! Glad to have you here!
I did my big motorcycle license on a Ducati Monster. I was an awesome feeling with that engine. Ducatis are something else :D
That’s a cool bike to do your license on
@@KRANKiT Yeah. I only took this driving school because of the bike.
Excellent video. The script was good, with a quirky twist, and very informative. The drone shots added perspective. Follow mode while riding would be even better, though tricky in that area.
The Hypermotard is instantly recognizable from its pretty red tubular frame. That single-sided swingarm screams 'monster'.
Thank you! Unfortunately follow me mode doesn’t really work well in places like that, or with road speeds. Whenever I can I try to get someone else to ride the bike so I can fly the drone chasing them, but this is a solo operation :) gotta work within my limits
Just found this channel , and I'm glad I did! Awesome content.
Thank you very much!
I appreciate you xD When I heard the "HAHAHAHAAAAAH!" I knew you gave the bike a fair review. I love mine so much and it is a joy to see others get out there on one!
I have a 2020 Hypermotard with the quick shift option, and it's the most smiles per mile you can have on two wheels.
The only option the bike really needs :)
Awesome content bro!! Spot on
I have the base model hyper 950, a buddy has the RVE, the DQS is definitely worth the extra $ to add. I will add DQS to my base model hyper this winter.
That's honestly the main thing it needs... It must be sweeeet afterwards!
i got the 2021 sp , love it !!!!! such a blast to ride
That’s got to be lovely!
What a review…well done!
The hypermotard is a bit like those of us who were fitting roadgoing rubber to our half litre motocross bikes in the early 80's. Its a bit heavier and it grunts a bit more.
It is a very civilised bike, if a bit high geared for commuting. Where it does excell is in the tight and twisty mountain passes.
I think you should go ride it again after it is broken in (1st service) when the tach doesnt change colour.
The party really starts at 6.5k and happily up to 10k.
My 2020SP is an absolute pleasure to ride.
That said, I'm stumped as to why Ducati put torquelimiting in the ECU that prevents clutch up wheelies, and does not allow the rear ABS to be turned off.
That said, power wheelies up to fourth are a reality
Hmm ... I don’t remember my example being rev limited ... but anyway, spot on. They’re really good to ride!
@@KRANKiT not rev limited, the ECU limits power a bit until the dealer resets the service light for break-in service.
And yeah, an absolute hoot to ride
You earned my subscription. This was such a good video on this bike.
Great review👌
Cheers!
Beautiful presentation, brother. New follower here. KEEP MAKING CONTENT.
I would want one but my inseam stops me, all the tech in the world and it cant lower its self when below 3mph, i think my feet would reach the footrests though
If you can, try sitting on one. The thin seat does help with the seat height
Great review! i subscribed
Well chosen words. nice presentation.
What a video!
Thank you!
I love my 2016 sp !
The 2023 Harley Davidson Sportster is deeply flawed if it couldn’t run to be videoed
That’s ... a good point :)
the fact that you were supposed to make a video on a Harley and it shit itself even before you could ride it is hilarious
The only thing wrong with this bike if you ain't mechanically inclined and you are married to the dealership it's going to be expensive.
True... but that can also be argued about a lot of modern bikes, if not most
What are the things i've got to fix
Harley?
