i've been riding harder and harder my er6n and i'm starting to feel the (my) limits on its shitty suspensions i've sorted the brakes with braided lines and radial MC they feel amazing. Also the engine is perfect at mid rev but gives out at 8/9k which is too short. I've had these conclusions : i want sport bike suspensions & brakes and more than a twin but less than IL4.... I dont feel like jumping to 130hp so I think 100 will be good the only bike possible is the 2013 R model, I'm looking to get one when i have the funds :D As for your comment on it being boring, I think it a sign you can start learning to ride the road instead of learning to ride the bike

I'll put it shortly. KTM bought Husqvarna, Husaberg, and GasGas all for their technologies. KTMs became much better after buying Husqvarna. And I truly hate KTM for erasing Husaberg, and rendering GasGas and Husqvarna to nothing more than rebadged bikes. All those years of history and specialtys...

Incredible. In 2023 another rider CS Santhosh met with a major crash.And he was in coma for some time with severe injuries yet survived.And hero motorcorp released their first limited edition bike named as “XPulse rally edition”with his signature on it. It is an incredible machine with adjustable suspensions and massive ground clearance and a seat height of 885mm. I own one of that machine and enjoys my weekend rides with that machine.😊.

If I remember correctly Ewan McGregor wanted to do the trip on the GS from the start but he let Charlie make the final decision to go with the KTM. I've only had my 1150GSA for 4 years but I'll never forget the first time I rode it, it looked so tall, heavy and intimidating but I climbed on board let the clutch out and it just effortlessly glided away. With the correct tyres it is genuinely good on the loose stuff too.

there are tons of bikes for shorter riders. please leave some for the people who cant travel economy!

I would never do a race where I had to deal with QuadTards. They are bad enough on regular rides. Blocking the entire road, no awareness that someone faster is behind them, and then shocked when you actually pass them.

I bought a FE 501 Berg in 2013. Without a doubt it handled and had the most exciting motor I've ever experience. Since then I've always stuck to the husky and ktm brand, But the Berg was the stand out even today.

looks almost like after years and years of european and japanese brands producing middle and high end motorcycles in china with local companies, those same local companies set up "parallel models" loaded with extra and with lower price. voge are honda copycat, cf moto are ktm copycat, but for kmt that's not even a copy, it's the same motorcycle coming out of the production line with a different brand

I used to have an 1150 GS. It was an OK bike but very top heavy which made it tiring to ride on winding roads. I test rode a KTM 1290 SAS (Euro 2021) and the lower center of gravity is what made all the difference. I bought one a hour after that test ride.

Back in the late 70's (or early 80's?) Yamaha tried to race a twin cylinder 125 in international motocross but the FIM would not allow a bike with more than one cylinder to compete. Puch won a world championship with Harry Everts racing a twin carb Puch - but the FIM banned the concept soon after... The ban on multiple cylinder bikes is not a shot against Aprilla per say, it's a regulatory agency over regulating a sport - that's what they do.. Did the designers/engineers at Aprilla not get the memo?

I built and raced a Genesis engined FZX off road bike which I called my Dirt Fazer. It was an awesome dirt bike on everything except technical trails. I got an eigth place in the Mini Pine Enduro.

they just want money..... more options is better but they just want to monitize the big whale adventure poser bike that is now so commom and cost more than a SUV and that brings us to ducati and others..... all i want is a cheap, reliable bike that i can have fun with and dont worry that i will drop it or that the maintenaince is a nightmare..... so im basicly stuck with japanese and if lucky some premium chinese that are coming... the others are for boomers that think riding a super ugly bike is coool.....

I have reasons to disagree, my dad had two of them and didn't like both. If a trial bike already has cooling problems, the ossa with the radiator behind the gas tank doesn't cool down at all and other brands bike are generally better.
