You are such a sweetheart, you explain things so well that I feel like I’m right there having a conversation! Thank you for sharing this. I am super forgetful and needed a refresher on how to store the tubers I am going to dig up this week. I only have 3 plants. One of which came from Kate @Hello Garden, named Marilyn’s Magic!! It was a lovely and healthy plant, but no flowers sadly. So next year I will be relocating her 😊 I have no idea what she looks like so it will be a fun surprise!
loved the video, very good info. thanks so much for sharing. you make it look so easy. i have some but, we don't have to dig ours. it does not get that cold here and we hardly ever have snow. i think i would like to dig one up just to see how many tubers it made and pack them up for next season. hope you have a great day!
Thanks friend, I hope these knowledge based videos on dahlias are helpful. If you have the space to plant out more dahlias I think it would be fun for you to dig and divide. You can also do it in the spring time. Dig, divide, and replant. So if you don’t want to worry about storing them, you can always do that. 🥰
Great video! Very informative and helpful. I’m new to dahlias and this year I stored them two ways: in a pot and another way, was in a brown paper bag with the soil on. Fingers crossed that they make it!! Do you sell your dahlias?
Isn’t it amazing how an odd shaped, kinda ugly tuber grows such gorgeous flowers!! 🤩 Pretty awesome! 💕
Very informative, hands on video. Thanks, Claudia.
You are so efficient at this so glad mine can live in the ground as this is a lot of effort….

Learning so much about Dahlias. I’m a beginner so I’m amazed how Dahlias can multiply.
Isn’t it wild? It always blows my mind. It’s the payoff for being cold and wet, you get more dahlias in return. 😆
Claudia, this video was so informative….will be watching again….I really appreciate the camera view looking down, thank you.
Thank you so much Robin!! I really try to get the best angles and views for you guys, I love to get feedback that it was helpful. 🥰💗
Have you ever tried storing the tubers in a flower fridge? Thank you for sharing your expertise!

Oh no, I just stored mine in vermiculite and in cardboard boxes, are boxes not good?? Thanks
