Very nice! Looking forward to visiting in early September. Trying to figure out where to buy a transit pass. Maybe at a TI office or at Monoprix or someplace like that, not sure.
KevinPDX1 Yes, buy the transit pass at the TI office, also the train station, but not Monoprix. Some hotels also sell the transit pass. If you stay within Nice Area, from Vence to Villefrance, it is only 4 euro per day for the pass including tram, train and bus, or if you want to go a bit further, like Cannes or Antibes, you need a 26 euro/day pass which also gets you free into some museums. You can google cote d'azure transit pass to find out details.
Hi Dennis. Have you or did you film in mid January? I was wondering what the temperature and general feel of the place might be. I've only visited this lovely city in May and June
jn+Asphalt Ricky There is always "nice" weather here, hah hah. This was filmed in November which was quite pleasant, but October is better, milder, more daylight, more sunshine, and the crowds are gone already. I have not been there in January, but I think winter is best avoided if possible. If you must go in January I guess it would be OK, not freezing anyway.
The tram works well in Nice, transforming the main street, much better than previously with many trucks and cars. The city has a large grid of alternate streets for motor vehicles.
mikeos1 It is not because you have met a pickpocket on the tram that there are always stealers there. You can't reduce all the presentation of this city to that. I personally live in this city and i have rarely saw any thiefs especially in the center of the city..
I must be unlucky then. About 10 years ago I had a camera bag, with passport, stolen in the cafe at the railway station by a couple of thieves in a clever distraction burglary. I spent the afternoon at the police station completing a theft report.
It can happen anywhere -- how about this: I survive 3 weeks traveling, taking usual precautions, no problems, then while flying home, enjoying the UA lounge in Chicago, I turn away from my bag a few minutes and it gets looted...in the first class lounge, moments away from boarding final flight home!! I've had 5 other pickpocket encounters in 30 years but they only got me the first (and last) time. You can't let your guard down until crossing your home threshold.
good question, here are some playlists with answers: St-Paul-de-Vence, Grasse, Vence bit.ly/32sQoTV and Cannes, Antibes bit.ly/2xRyUlX and Nice and Monaco bit.ly/2N6xjTE

. good video, what is the cost of living there?
the tram seems to be a bit of an intrusion (like Dublin)
The tram works well in Nice, transforming the main street, much better than previously with many trucks and cars. The city has a large grid of alternate streets for motor vehicles.
whats the name of the music in the beginning pls?
Careful of pickpockets if you stand on the tram. I nearly broke a guy's finger when I caught him unzipping a back pocket.
+mikeos1 awwww, poor pickpocket almost broke a finger :C

Where does one buy a ticket for the tram?
there is a machine at every tram stop.
only 1 euros(1 h trip) a ticket if you buy 10
How much time do you need in Nice?
At least 3 days, 5 is better, to see not only Nice but the nearby towns.
@@denniscallan Thank you which nearby towns would you visit again?
