- Here is all the new car phone mounts for 2018 by Spigen (amzn.to/2KM5URI). Having trouble figuring out what kind of car phone mount is best for you? First it depends on the layout of your vechicle then your preference. There are tons of different kinds of car phone mount holders. Some have magnets, some have holders, some stick onto your windshield or somewhere on dash board. You have ones that stick into your cd player too. I hope you found this review video informative.

A good array of mounts there man...I think the first one is more practical for my needs plus it doesn’t obstruct the CD slot or air vents which are crucial at this time of year to help keep a cool head whilst driving 😜👍🇬🇧

I got an iottie for my car with the sticker for the dash and a very sticky suction cup. The dash sticker stuck wonderfully, but the suction cup just didn't. My phone constantly tipped over. It was recommended for my larger phone.
Downside to suction cups are you can only put it on flat surfaces. my honda has textured surfaces and the window is really close to the dash :(
I like the one with the extendable arm personally. I'm going to be buying one for my dad
The problem with extendable arm is the joints break, it's happened to me twice. I've switched to the CD player one and been much happier. I was too scared to try the AC vent ones.
i just want to know if the ones with the magnets really hold up, or do they just fall of easily, let's say compared to the one where it literally grabs your phone on both sides, are the magnets as strong? Stronger? Weaker? like that is what i wanted to know....
I am short with a horizontal vent in one and vertical vent in my other car. The horizontal one has a top edge that juts out and I am having a difficult time finding a holder that doesn't break the brackets that holds into the vent. My other question is if you get a wireless receiver to make your phone wireless capable, will a magnetic hurt it if I go with one of the magnetic holders?

It would have been helpful to have the brands of holders
had the one that could extend and turn but my phone was too heavy or the heat was too much, it kept peeling off from my windshield until it finally broke.

Word of warning with the first phone mount. It will NOT hold a pixel 3 xl. It will just slowly keep dropping down and eventually fall out.

Reviews are only good if they are not sponsored. I want to hear bad things about each type of those mounts not sells pitch. I have tried all of those types except cd slot mount and they all have issues. EGG.
1.Magnetic plates (steel plates) do not stick well on rubberized phones like sonim and forget about wireless charging when you have that plate on the phone.
2.Vent mounts do not work well with all types of vents, they do fall off and when running heater your phone gets red hot( killing battery ).
3,Window and dash suction cups fall off when cold...
+Kris K 1. Sticks to all my phones no prob. Never heard of a Sonim phone. Yes with these mags u cannot wirelessly charge ur phone.
2. They work fine w both of my cars no issues. My wife uses this in the other car and she loves and prefers vent mounts.
3. It’s cold now and still hasn’t fallen off. Maybe cause I live in Cali and it doesn’t get too cold.
Also the con w cd mounts is you will not be able to insert or use any cds. Also like mentioned in the video I cannot use those mounts cause my CD player sits too low.
One more note... in order for the suction cup to stick well on ur dashboard u need to have a smooth dashboard like my car. In other cars where the dashboard is coarse or not smooth it will fall off in a coupe days or so.

@@ILuvTrading Sonim is a heavy duty "smartphone" that's used mostly by contractors and truck drivers as they are not easy to damage. I use vent mount myself but you have to close that vent as it overheats phone in winter and freezes it in summer :) ( I do not live in mild climate country )

Are the magnets safe for the phones?
Some say yes but I’ve been using magnets on my phones for years and no issues except for one phone... google nexus 6p. My gps would act funny w a magnet on back but every other phone no probs for me.
