    I applaud you for making this commitment. I took a solo trip to Thailand just a couple of months ago and thought it was an amazing experience. I've considered making a greater commitment to staying in Thailand for a long period of time and look to train in Muay Thai. I did a couple of Muay Thai classes and realized how different it is compared to BJJ. I hope to make the same commitment in the future as you!

      I feel like with proper preparation, basically anything is doable. I admire you for going over there and doing it. That's the big difference in and of itself, actually going to Thailand and doing it. Whatever "it" may be for someone. For you it is training Muay Thai and you put thoughts into action. That's all that matters. Win, lose, or draw... you actually did it! I'm cheering for you going forward. I would love to train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai some day at Tiger Muay Thai.

      Flight is around 1k+ depending where you are , tiger Muay Thai and some other gyms offer an Instay + gym as a price. Something like Tiger would be around 1k/month but other gyms with less tourists could go as low as 250$/month. Food is about barely 5$/day if not less, some gyms offer food included with instay.

    What was the expense like bro??? Do you recommend it for a complete novice?

    • @EvolveNowYoga
      @EvolveNowYoga  9 місяців тому +4

      I think with accommodation, food, private classes and access to all training sessions it was around 2000€. You can get it a lot cheaper though if you stay in private owned apartments or hotels! also food at the tiger camp is really expensive so I would also recommend to eat at other places, there plenty of great restaurants close by that are cheaper!
      When it comes to training your skill and fitness level really don’t matter that much! There were people that never trained before arriving and at the same time there are a lot of pro athletes training! The martial arts classes are separated for different levels and no matter age, fitness level or experience, I think there are enough classes so everybody can benefit from training at this gym!
      As i said in the video, smaller and less known gyms are way cheaper and probably also offer great training.
      I trained in Chiang Mai and krabi in small muay thai gyms and also had an amazing time!

    • @EvolveNowYoga
      @EvolveNowYoga  9 місяців тому +1

      In the area of Tiger Muay Thai itself are only restaurants and a few bars, but not a lot of nightlife going on there! If you want to party you need to get a Grab (like Uber) to Old Town or Patong Beach where all the night life is going on. I didn’t go to Patong beach because it is not my thing but it is really popular. Also I enjoyed the beach parties in Koh Phi Phi

    Hi man what was the price of accommodations when you were in thailand???

    • @EvolveNowYoga
      @EvolveNowYoga  9 місяців тому

      Hey! Really depends on what type of accommodation you’re looking for! Living in hotel from tiger muay thai is probably the most expensive option, look for private apartments or other hotels in the area and you will safe a lot of money!

  • @jamesroh18

    How many hours of training per day? And how much did everything cost ie hotel, gym

    • @EvolveNowYoga
      @EvolveNowYoga  9 місяців тому +1

      Basically as many as you can handle! There’s classes all day, I worked up my way to for sessions a day. Including Fitness, Muay Thai, BJJ, Yoga and private Muay Thai classes. So overall about 6 hours of training per day
      The camp cost around 2k€, including private training, food and accommodation .but I went the lazy route and didn’t do enough research, so look for cheaper accommodation than at Tiger Muay Thai and you will safe a lot of money. Also other gyms are cheaper
