I thank god for the 2 of you. This video is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Info on.. •GYM •Food prep •Accommodation Literally exactly what I’ve been searching for.
15years ago when I was there, the place was still a jungle with only 2 gyms. TMT and Dragon Muay Thai. It was great training, no mma fighters there . I was the fittest and enjoyed my 3 months stay.
If you are looking for content ideas.. pls film from the perspective of a new arrival, eg transport, Sim and wifi options, basically the apps you downloaded and mock conversations purchasing items, Sims, water, treating a headache eg visiting a pharmacy, where to buy a towel. All pretty basic but still interesting and confidence building for someone new but doing research to head over. Also weightloss camp breakdowns, packages etc. But, you do you 😅 I enjoyed your video just suggesting ideas. Hi from Darwin Australia
To be honest I don't really know, it would depend on what you're after. If it's pure weight/fat loss, I don't necessarily agree with a weight loss retreat since it's the habits at home that need to be corrected if weight loss if going to be sustained
Hello. Do you recommend any gym in particular for someone with a basic level of MMA who wants to improve all the areas? Thanks! I have been comparing TMT and Bangtao mainly and I feel like Bangtao is more MMA friendly?
Hey! To be honest it is totally up to you and what you need, there is really good jiu jitsu and wrestling at Bangtao along with some top pros... TMT will have more high level striking, and also a lot of high level pros. Thing is, it will depend on your schedule and what you want out of it. If you're there for longer maybe you could try a few of them out - I know both of those two are the pricier options. Phuket Grappling Academy where we trained also offer a good level of instruction all around
@@tjandbtraveling Hahahaha yeah… After 15 years of competing in rugby I decided to stop playing rugby due to different injuries. Then after that I started doing martial arts, much relaxed sport to avoid injuries 😂 Thank you for your advice. I’ll be there for almost 2 months so I’ll try few different options like you suggest!! :)
Lions MMA has very little people and 4 mma coaches so you’ll get extra attention there as a beginner and they’re all great fighters and the head coach marcio cesar trained with anderson silva, shogun rua and all those old school mma fighters.

MISSING THIS SOI,PARADISE NO DOUBT ABOUT IT
You gotta come back!
Do these types of gyms have a problem with people that are staying there partying or bringing other people to your rooms to hangout ect…? Thanks!
Not that I'm aware of. From what we've seen the partying is kept to other parts of the island for the most part.
What’s the gym that most proffesionals fighters go too
I would imagine Tiger Muay Thai still
What would be the best gym for weight loss retreat to stay at and train daily for months?

I probably need to learn not to be a jerk before I move there
monay street for falangs hhaa
Alis is the best restaurant on that street
That's what we hear, but since we don't eat meat and it's mostly a bbq we didnt try
Correct
How is fitness street in august ? Is it busy?
I think it won't be the high season, but will still be bustling with people. Is that when you go?

Also we're both rugby players too, funny how we end up in combat sports!
