Got milk?lol good video thanks 👍 your beautiful farm is America's food.
Thank you for sharing your videos with us...
I am liking all the tractors what I do like is the variety of mates and models... I've had quite a passion for tractors for 50 years. Very happy I stumbled across your channel and we're both from the state of Wisconsin better yet 👍😊
I've being enjoying your woundrful videos thank you for sharing best wishes from Ireland
Very nice work!
It's a great day when you can work hard and stay smiling , you tell a good story with your camera . Beautiful farm, equipment I've not seen before . Great video 👍🇬🇧
Folks like you and your family are one of the few things that give me some hope for a future. A fancy watch ain't gonna save us from what's coming but the skills and knowledge you have and are sharing will.
Very lovely positioned farm. Great landscape and buildings also. Lots of hills, never thought about that in the mostly flat country. Expecialy traditional american farms are on the looong flat grounds. Machines are great too!
Keep doing the good work!
Best wishes from Slovenia (The Luka Dončić country)
Dual tyres on one side, genius, fantastic channel
I enjoying your videos thanks for feeding America
I wish you would put some rollover bars on those narrow front tractors I really like you guys and I don't want nothing to happen to you all I keep you in prayer every time I see you on the hillside with a narrow front tractor
That time of year. Getting all the final harvest done before snow flies
Keeping older equipment going for longer is so good for the environment, clever farming
Great shot of you unloading in the foreground and pops working up on the hill. Good stuff!
Love your trusses (rafters) on your machinery storage. Great videos! 4:15
Wow, what a beautiful place to live, work and raise a family! New subscriber here and looking forward to see how you all handle winter. Thanks for the extra effort you take to show us your lives!
Thank you, 💪👏👍
Beautiful countryside, enjoying your videos 👍Regards from Down Under.
Nice slow pace with your packing tractor. Lots of guys seem to panic about getting behind. Speed lessens the effect of packing.
Always wondered why you ran a duel on just one side. Thanks for feeding America!
I love watching you folks. The beautiful farm, the down to earth approach, the work ethic, and especially the morals and values you so graciously share brings back so many memories. Makes an old man tear up. KEEP'M COMING!!!!!!! 🚜
Glad I found you! Add to my millions of farm channels lol. I prefer the smaller ops. Right up my alley. Beautiful place you got dude! Being a WI guy I'm pretty sure from watching you are also located in WI. I'm 95% sure. I'm in western Waukesha county near Dousman and Oconomowoc. Teensy weensy farm selling sweet corn and pumpkins for fun really. I just love the rural lifestyle and working with nature and crops! As soon as I seen corn cribs actually being used I knew I found a new keeper channel!!
Beautiful country
Awesome video today it's nice to see old school tractors at work keep up the great work thanks for taking us along
Beautiful place. I grew up on 2 different farms . One was nice and one wasn't, but I wouldn't have changed it.That was many ,many moons ago.
It is nice when days turn out this way!
Love chopping in September.... The work in the haymow is probably done pretty much by then. Just sit on the tractor and watch it unload.
Glad everything went well. Great video.thanks for sharing.
thanks for sharing loved it😀
I have no idea what your dad would do without you boys! Great job keep up the good work
Those hills on High Hillside Acres are something else. Not sure I would be comfortable running equipment around on those.
Love your videos! ... And the nature of the farming.
It's a treat that you share this stuff for those of us who don't farm but dream about one day .. :-)
I’m a new subscriber as well. I’m not a farmer but I really enjoyed your video.
Thank you for sharing what you do.
Best real world old school farm channel. Thanks for not having click bait!
You really had things organized for the chopping process. You were using the best tractor for each job, which was nice to see. Thanks for the video.
I can’t thank you enough for your videos!! I get stressed about what’s happening in our country and the world and your videos have a calming effect on me. Those rolling hills and the tractors and you working with your dad! Thank you so much for sharing what you do with us. God Bless
Looks good, you all had a productive day. Alot easier having the way your doing it. Thank you for sharing. John T.
You sure are brave raking with that narrow front tractor 🚜!! I know what your going to say. You grew up do it!! Can you tell our farm was a lot flatter!! Nice hay crop 🌾. Thanks 😊.
LOL, I use to rake with a A C tractor with only one front tire. When the front tire hit a woodchuck hole the front end would jump up off the ground. Yes ,it would wake you up.
Classic small Wisconsin dairy farm chopping - Gehl chopper behind JD tractor. I have farmed crazy steep fields my whole life but I only chop my best fields. I don't know how you chop some of your fields
thanks for sharing. im going to enjoy watching yall become youtube ballers.
I really enjoyed this video! You have beautiful farmland and it's a sight to behold. I never hear you talk about it, but tractor safety on your hills is essential. Beautiful alfalfa💙
Fantastic and very informative video. Great family teamwork and explaining the family farm process. Thanks for sharing and bringing us along.
Really enjoying your content. 😊 Your maintaining and using your old equipment is great to see.
That is quite the routine you have but you and dad run it smoothly.
Takes many tractors to run a farm. Hope the rest of chopping went well also.
Most people dont understand where milk comes from ,beside the store. The ones that think its cruel to milk cows needs to see and understand the cycle cows must follow in their life. Its not unheard of getting 3 crops of hay in Wisconsin. Love the smell of haylage and corn silage.
Thank you so much for the time line on when you where doing the cutting and which cutting it is. That helps a lot I'm not a farmer just really intrested in it and all the machines.
Awesome video......thats a heck of a chopper setup.
I recently retired from the army, and was able to move back on the family farm in Minnesota, milking is gone but I’m haying about 150 acres, I’m watching your videos and reminding myself of what to do,, so thank very much, and keep the videos coming
the international must be a mighty tractor.
Pretty cool to see ya chopping hay
I agree the 7810 is very nice 👍. I really like the 1066 also looks great with the wide front tires.
Never saw silage or haylage stored like that very interesting. Looking forward to seeing how you finish it. Thank you
Love the thumbnail
great product. the cows will be happy.
I like how you guys do your silage… you will pile corn silage on top of the haylage right? Did you chop any first or second crop? I don’t remember another chopping video from this year. Gehl really made a great machine, sure wish they still made them
Love the Oliver!
Great video and the hay silage looks great the cows will love this in the winter
Always enjoy your videos! Going right back over the cut hay field with manure is great management! That grass won't "miss a beat."
Great job...and so well filmed! Man those side hills look scary!
That's crazy how you guys Farm down there in Wisconsin. Great video can't wait to see more of you guys' farm hope everything runs smoothly again for the next shopping. There's no Rolling Hills like that here in Utah you guys stay safe take care and God bless
I really like the lay of your land so to speak! Great looking farm! I liked the last minute or so with the calves smelling fresh chopped hay. I miss chopping hay, we cash crop now, selling hay and small grain to pay the tax man. How many milkers do you have? Just wondering, no answer needed if you don't care to, I'm a new sub to your channel, within the last two weeks. Be safe, wishing a bountiful corn harvest to you. Regards from northern Michigan. Keep the vids rolling.👍
Another great video, thank you for making them for us to enjoy. I know it takes time to "get the shot" and edit. Great that you share your life work with others, especially ones that have never been on a farm to see the hard, labor intensive work you guys.
Yup…..you don’t just unhook wagon’s wherever you feel like it on those hills. Probably designated spots and planning ahead to not get the chopper or tractor pulling wagons into the yard, in a bad situation.
Cool video!!!!!!
Brings back memories of doing silage when i was 10
I can see why the dual helps. Front wheel assist is a life saver. Looks like real quality hay. I heard your name mentioned on Trinity Dairy taking about your hills.
I've often wondered why you guys don't put the loader on the 7405 and push/pack with that.
Have you thought ahead as to what you would do if the tractor started to slip/roll on one of those hills? I would suggest practicing up on a human tuck and roll maneuver.
Great video! Looking forward to seeing how you will finish up the silage pile.
Still enjoy your show your great family thehard work you do. So when's the big day for marriage? I do wish you both well. Her gain my loss, will say no more. A good fan in Minneapolis.
You can have them hills I will stay over here in the center part of the state lol!
You chop and pack over dry bay bc no more dry hay storage? Seems like you hardly have storage for the pile but that’s easier than hodge podging dry hay storage.
Have you ever watched making hay in Swizerland , very interesting.
Those hillsides DO Scare me a bit.
Great content man 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love your fleet of machinery new and old you should check out how we cut silage in Ireland great video Your dad must b camera shy ????😎
Nice video.. never seen hay chopped for silage ..
Is there not enough swing in the chopper hitch for a dual on the right side? We had a 2590 Case tractor with duals on a New Holland two row chopper. I don't remember what model the chopper was and we didn't have a hay head. We'd open up the fields with and old Gehl Brother's two row self propelled chopper powered by a big straight 6 Continental.
I don't understand why the haylage is being dumped in the driveway? I would think that you would have mold problems. I realize bagging it is expensive as well but wow! I have never seen it done that way.
Nice video and have you guys ever considered purchasing a vermeer hydraulic v rake you can set it how big or how small you guys want your windrows tobe
Awesome job. How hard is to get parts for that Chopper because I know that they are not made anymore
Beautiful day and the hay looks amazing. What tractor was your dad using to mow hay?
Great feed but the hills scare me a little lol
That 1066 is more of a work horse than that deere will ever be , we always waited until the hay had a good wilt then chopped it but ours went in the silo
Looks good do you cover with plastic?
Hello, I just found your channel with this video. I am a city guy who lives vicariously through your type of life. I am sure when I get through some other videos it may be explained but can you educate me? After to cut the hay you pick it up with the bins. Why are you putting it on the concrete? Is that where the animals eat it? Do you ever bale it and sell it or is it for your farm use? I am fascinated by this and want to learn more. Thank you for the great video. I apologize if this is a dumb question just curious.
Whatever happened to your 1550? That’s our favorite raking tractor on our farm.
Love the oliver in the shed . 1850?
Where in Wisconsin?
Why don't you guys use a bagger?
👌
Aaron, where did you get the Meyer t-shirt?
Noticed you guys farm a lot of hill country. Where are you located? I'm from La Crosse originally. Worked on a couple dairy farms in that area.
I really enjoy your videos but I must say that is a strange place for a silage pile farm on and GOD BLESS
How do you keep from scooping rocks up when you feed it? Waste some?
Looks like they lay in on a concrete slab...knowing them I bet they swept it before laying down the chopped hay.
Most lay on slab but I thought it looked like rocks
We could never rake here in Central MN for fear of getting a rock or rocks in winrow and into chopper possibly.
U def old fashion farmers
👍
Grandpa had a MTA tractor
Id take that 1650 !
Hello how long do let hay lay before you chop it
