The insults back and forth were ungracious and not needed but this is entertainment and the insults entertain. Dave looked like he wanted to take the high road and not insult the woman in the first segment because he doesn't appear someone who liked insults. I always enjoyed Love Connection. Chuck Wollery was always my favorite as he maintained a subtle control over the show but allowed people to entertain and be jerks.

Is it just me or does anyone else notice how these people in their late 20’s or early 30’s look so much older than people of that age do now? I’m 48 & watched this show back in the day, lol. People in their 40’s now look as young/old (however you want to word it), as these young guests of the show in the 80’s.
It's funny how Chuck was 42 in 1983 and 51 when his run ended in 1994 and the guests looked almost his age.
