hey everyone quick update on the charger: my trunk has been opening itself without me pressing any button on the key fob. I don't know what is wrong but from what I can tell the wires in the trunk must have went haywire or something because the button on the trunk itself that you can use to open the trunk is not working either. I am hoping dodge can cover the repairs under warranty. Lastly I read online that a good number of chargers out there have this issue and that dodge did a massive recall on their chargers. I am not saying that this car is bad don't get it but I am giving everyone interested in a charger something to keep in mind before buying
The door didn't lock the first time cause its a sensitive keypad under the door handle to unlock the door if you put your hand under it it will unlock if locked only if keyfob is near the car and you can't. Lock it with your hand unde it.
The door wasn't locking because you had your fingers on the sensor on the inside of the handle, which is how you unlock it, so the door was getting confused. Just push the button without putting your fingers on the inside of the handle.
Great review - one of the better ones I've watched! If it was my Charger, I'd keep the wheels as they are. For me that's the best looking set of wheels available on all the Charger models. I'd love to see a follow-up review on driving the vehicle after 3 months of ownership, addressing the ride quality, noise level, seat comfort, mpg, etc.

I found a Certified used one for $18,000 but it was just an SXT. I WANTED IT SO BAD. I wish i had made an agreement with my parents a year ago too match my $6000 to get that charger. I am such a fucking idiot for not thinking of that. Though my parents don't make over $55,000. I envy you.

I've priced the one I want at $37,180, but for $1200 more I could get the R/T Plus. I'll be paying for it myself, but my parents are gonna pay the insurance until it's paid off.
yea its a difficult decision because that V8 has a nice roar to it but will empty your wallet with gas station trips lol. Hell I have the V6 and I still visit the gas station constantly. The good part is if you are smart with your charger you will only have to pay like 40 to 50 bucks to fill the tank completely. Yesterday I was almost at empty and it cost me 60 bucks to fill it up all the way. Not to bad considering the type of car it is. Also get the cheaper one so that you can put money towards customization if you want to do those down the line. Mine is plain white but I really want black rims and possibly a different paint job with racing stripes

I'll definitely add a aftermarket exhaust system a Mopar Cold air intake, new spark plugs, new injectors, new exhaust manifold/headers. I might try and find a 2 inch lift if anyone's made one, I know it sounds stupid, but bear with me, I'm gonna add rally tires, and some skid plates for under body protection, that's why I'm getting the AWD one that and for winter, but where I live we have a few dirt, and gravel roads that a twisty and straight so it'll be fun.

With new you pay more money but you know it is in the best possible condition which means oil changes and service visits will not be happening for a good year or two. The car is pricey but it is such a nice car. However I do agree with you that used is more worthwhile if you have an apartment and other things to take care of.
depends on the dealership you buy at as well they get to set the price and you just try to negotiate it as best you can. Also the sxt plus has more features than r/t does for example my car would have both heated front and back seats where the r/t doesn't. Basically your choice is R/T with v8 and some cool features inside or sxt plus v6 with a completely pimped out interior and since I don't care for the insurance costs of a v8 I went the v6

Also I don't have the black grill it is the original chrome grill which yes you are right you can't get off the lot without buying the blacktop package

no its a 2013 I just bought it new and most dealers don't even keep 2011 models on their lots you'll be lucky to find a new 2012 model on the lot of any dealer
cedric gildersleeve yep still have it. Its all paid off. Reliability is great. Besides a couple issues here and there (which were covered under warranty) its a great vehicle. Would i go dodge again? Mmmm probably not because the charger v6 is not as powerful as camaro which is what i want next.

Use PlastiDip on your car and or rims to change the look. You can always just peel off the paint to return to the original paint and it doesn't harm anything! Check it out PlastiDip

yea that was a mistake in the video we actually paid 36 with tax, lo jack, and a protective film that they put on the car which you cant really see
