It’s also completely surreal how quick you can lose your teammates in this game. One firefight and two men drop before your eyes. It’s extremely terrifying.
What the game needs is the ability to give npcs specific orders like; "Don't move", "Turn around", "Walk towards me", etc. That way you could move npcs to a safer position before restraining them. I really hate having to stand in front of or near an unclear threshold to arrest a suspect just because I can't tell them to move a few feet.
Yeah, i like that. Maybe to make it more interesting is to have the possibility of the civilian to try and run when given orders if they are especially stubborn and/or stupid. It would not be very common but a possibility. I think it would emphasize the use of nonlethals like the pepper spray or tazer to regain control over a civilian who is uncooperative.
for realism this should be implemented, but i like to have to arrest or restrain people in risky positions, it adds some tactic manouvres to co-op teamwork macros.
Not sure if you guys knew this, but if you tap the "HOME" Key, you put your weapon into Low Ready and can move a bit faster. You can also double tap "T" to view teammates' helmet cams. They also seem to not spawn all the civilians or threats or they run back to already cleared areas so you need to double back all the time just to complete missions
While the extremely fast response time and the head glitch are things that need to be tweaked, the back tracking is very relevant as in real life they'd probably attempt to flank you
21:23 "Only difference between us and the guys in the movies are we are very real." That's badass. I'm gonna watch more of your vids on this game. This was just a UA-cam suggestion and I'm really entertained with the comms and movements. Salute!
This is absolutely incredible guys. I already had a love for the game but no other players I see play the seriously real life way you guys do (regardless of real life experience) and I completely respect this gameplay right here. Hands down the best at it right here!!!! Much love and respect
Thank you Logan we play it like it's REAL. It's the only way we know how too. It's like a race car driver playing a racing game or pilot playing a flight sim. I appreciate your comment and eyes on brother 👍🏻
@@GLIDGaming thank you. My father is a Marine, and enjoyed this as well he said it took him back... I was also thinking how much people can actually learn from this and utilize to become elite at playing. Obviously there's no real life variables in this cuz in the real world anything can happen at anytime. But this game comes as close as almost any game I've seen. Seriously keep it up I'll support you guys 100 percent throughout this too. Idk if you guys play this much but I'm going to pick it up tomorrow when I get back to my PC. I'd love a run through with y'all. Would be nuts. Have a great day brother
Now this is the kind of gameplay I'm looking for. Well played, well communicated, and thorough work all in all. Looking forward to seeing more from you.
Excellent recovery after taking 2 casualties. That could have gone much worse in those few seconds. I still play SWAT 4 with the Elite Force mod from time to time and I have to say, if this game turns out to be anything as fun as that game, I'll play it eventually. Snickered at the ending... poor Grunt, poor Psycho
I like how you swing your weapon downward when crossing friendlies. If you don't want to look straight down every time, you can map a button to lower your weapon. There is no default mapping for it - and if you want, you can hold the fire mode key to put your weapons on safe. Also, when you peek a door, the door is free floating, meaning you can push the door with your body to open it. Useful if you have a riot shield in your squad.
I'll be honest that later phase of only 2-men team is so intense. Like straight out of horror movie. No wonder someone call this game as "Tactical Horror genre"
It's a horror because of what the AI can do lol. Playing this game solo definitely has those moments that can absolutely scare the shit out of you. One time I heading back down the stairs on this exact same mission (the map has changed quite a bit since then) and right as I was coming around slowly someone with a gun (I didn't even hear them) instantly was in my face and within a millisecond I heard a shot, my ai teammate had one tapped them for me. I thought i was dead for a split second. Another time I had eyes on someone, all I could see was their arm down the down and through the door to a corridor, and before I could even react I got instantly one tapped.
Bro first of all thanks for your service! And that goes to everyone else that's served or is serving too! 🙏 I'd love to see you and the boys take on the other scenarios! Much love! ❤
Brutal, all that professionalism just to blow it with distraction and radio chatter the moment you engage a hostile suspect. "Wuz dat aw hed shaut??" None the less, this was awesome.
Never had I come across a channel that made great videos and had me at the edge of my seat. Losing two boys in a gunfight in the blink of an eye shows how brutal this game can be. But kudos to you and the lads for pumping these videos out, lotta youtubers can learn a thing or two from you fellows.
Just stumbled in here, and wow! You got a new sub after 5 mins of this video, so refrehing and intense to see You play, instead of kids running and gunning and screaming curses at each other as many "gamers" do...
If your ever looking for another perspective on cqb I’m pretty well versed in that area being a Canadian army infantryman would be cool to run a few raids with you
It made me so happy that y’all wasn’t flagging each other, rare to see people use actual common sense and gun safety in games. God bless, y’all did great and thank y’all for protecting us.
Wow first time I’ve come across this channel. So entertaining so thrilling so nerve wrecking. Seeing real cqb tactics is so cool but watching you guys makes me so nervous because it seems so real because you’re all real marines. God bless you all and thank you for coming back home safe and I’m definitely subscribing after this video!❤️
Found your channel lately and it's really great to see you guys working together on this game. I hope that the developers of this game could add more things to make this game more realistic. Every videos of you is like watching a movie. Great works! Thank you!
Wow, this was incredible. From the realistic tactics that I felt I was actually able to pick up and will help me out when I play next, to the scene where you lost 2 members in the blink of an eye and the multiple 1 taps of suspects. This was so much fun to watch and I cant wait for more. First video I've seen from you and its worth a sub, bell, and like without hesitation. What a trilling experience, keep it up guys.
Default key for “Low/Ready” is the Home key. I HIGHLY recommend switching it to something like a side mouse or Caps Lock. It adds to the realism so that you aren’t flagging your teammates in the back. I know you prefer authenticity and realism to the games you play and the videos you make. I hate that all FPS games seem to not care about constantly pointing your weapon at teammates. Ground Branch is about the only game that really utilizes a high/low ready system. Also, you move a whole lot faster in game in the low/ready! Just wanted to give you the heads up. Great content man, maybe we can game together soon!
Your dedication to keep it authentic is admirable. Even though it's a video game you still don't point your muzzle at friendlies when looking around. I appreciate it the dedication
Great example of how a plan needs to adapt to the change of conditions. Fantastic adaptation in the face off the loss of two of the team, well done guys.
I was wonder why your crosshair placement was so weird and all over the place but then I realized that your moving like that to not aim it at your teammates and blows my mind how aware you are about that even in a game. Great content btw!!
Thank you guys for your service. I hold great respect for the Men and Women that served in the Armed forces. I was denied the right to serve my country due to the fact I have to take have medicine every day. But that will never stop how patriotic I am for my troops. ❤
You're telling me in a frenzy of watching vids from this channel, I have only now realised it's GLID, Not GILD... My.... apparent illiteracy aside. I can see myself watching these videos just to try and help my friends when we're playing. Faster clears, less risk, you name it.
First footage I see from the game that peaked my interests a few years ago and I am grateful it is you guys. The movements of the squad and the omniprescence of the jargon is just so enthralling. Every unknown quantities is a potential life threat and the smallest of mistake can turn an ever tense situation into hell on Earth, making this video a very interesting and educational watch. To summize : Great game. Greater content. Respect to the four of you and all those bad asses tactical response teams all over the world, who are confronted to that grisly part of humankind every damned day.
I love being tactical. Lol. I try to play tactical in anything I play. Some times it doesn't work out. I didn't know the technical terms after clearing areas to let your people know until now. Lbs. I need friends with this much patience.
Fantastic gameplay upload! 29:08 RIP to that guy, classic use of unauthorised deadly force, no visible weapon. 29:14 Hot doorways like that deserve a flashbang clear but unfortunately the two operators stood in the funnel of death.
At first my head was getting dizzy with how many times he was looking at the floor (4:50). I thought to myself why is he doing that? Does it not affect him? Then I realized what they were doing. That's an outstanding example of firearm discipline, even in a virtual environment this guys still take into account the rules of gun safety. Props to you! Immersion 10/10.
Incredible. Going through your mindset. See what really happens in operations. Things can go from quiet to loud in a flash. Great video. Definitely earned a sub.
Good work as always GLID, well done. I really like the spin this puts on your average tactical shooter - instead of "everyones a bad guy kill them all", you are given the chance to act as real police in the sense you get to arrest your targets. As minor as it seems, this puts an entire twist on the game giving you a lot more options of how to play out a situation. I also noticed that one of the phrases from the police says "put your hands up please" I'm surprised to see this in there as Police are traditionally taught not to use mannerisms in intense situations. Be assertive, take control.

While the extremely fast response time and the head glitch are things that need to be tweaked, the back tracking is very relevant as in real life they'd probably attempt to flank you
@@TheJemShuffle Not at all, they just run to empty rooms and sit there. AI is derpy
Guys, I've never see any strategy like your. You're simply amazing!! Please keep uploading this kind of content!! You're the best!
Our strategy is realism not fake crap. We play it, like it's real and like we are trained. I love you man, thx for the comment and eyes on.
21:23 "Only difference between us and the guys in the movies are we are very real." That's badass. I'm gonna watch more of your vids on this game. This was just a UA-cam suggestion and I'm really entertained with the comms and movements. Salute!
Thanks Ralph 👍🏻
😆👍🔥❤️
My heart sank when two of your team mate were down. How is this game played so real! I have no words to describe how amazing this playthrough is!
Watching fellow soldiers play this good is inspiring ! Thanks for the masterclass!
Thank you for watching 👍🏻🔥
Great vid. Sorry for your loss. Two brave men.
I wish we could have a final debrief, in this case to discuss what went wrong. 💪👍
Good point, for next vid !!
Great communication fellows. Aced everything that came your way. Everyone was on point in this demonstration.
Hands down the most tacticool gaming channel on YT.
Love you brother !
The chemistry between all of these guys was supernatural ! Excellent description of what you were seeing aswell as the layout.
👍🏻🔥Thx man
This was some excellent gameplay! I would love to see you guys turn this into a little series where you tackle the other missions
That's the plan!
Perfect, sitting here looking through your videos hoping there is 1 left that I have not seen, then this new one appears..... epic work as always :)
Glad you like them!
Many make videos, GLID makes content
Haha for real dude, same here 💪🏼
I was waiting so long for this, I’m excited!
Get some !!
Bro first of all thanks for your service! And that goes to everyone else that's served or is serving too! 🙏 I'd love to see you and the boys take on the other scenarios! Much love! ❤
We will brother 👍🏻
Seeing this in a game makes the fact that it happens in real life terrifying . Thank you for your service and protecting us.
Thank you brother 👍🏼
Brutal, all that professionalism just to blow it with distraction and radio chatter the moment you engage a hostile suspect. "Wuz dat aw hed shaut??" None the less, this was awesome.
Never had I come across a channel that made great videos and had me at the edge of my seat. Losing two boys in a gunfight in the blink of an eye shows how brutal this game can be. But kudos to you and the lads for pumping these videos out, lotta youtubers can learn a thing or two from you fellows.
Thank you brother 👍🏼
I love this chill but focused kinda videos. Keep it up!
Thx, but its anything but chill for us. It is probably one of the most non chill games in the world....... I love the stress!!
@@GLIDGaming yeah, I meant chill voices with stressed minds. Lovely.
Just stumbled in here, and wow! You got a new sub after 5 mins of this video, so refrehing and intense to see You play, instead of kids running and gunning and screaming curses at each other as many "gamers" do...
Dumb civvy kids right 😆 I feel the same !
this video series shows what happens when you are drilled to the core with ethics and teamwork
hats off to everyone
Love the fact even though it obstructs his vision for a split second he is not flagging his teammates....salute 🤙
Muzzle awareness is everything
“Can someone get that floodlight?”
“I got it.”
*Floodlight vaporizes*
Make sure to watch with good sound and turned way up! 🔊🔊🔊🔊
If your ever looking for another perspective on cqb I’m pretty well versed in that area being a Canadian army infantryman would be cool to run a few raids with you
Oh my, the immersion is real in this one... More of this please!
It looks like an immersion report on television. It is very impressive. I held my breath throughout the entire video.
This is the first game I've been over the top hyped for in like a decade
My friend. Your nearly at 100k and may I say it’s well earned, keep eyes on soldier, and we all love you brother.
Hey thanks man 👍🏼
Thought this guy was a Royal Marine 🗿
It made me so happy that y’all wasn’t flagging each other, rare to see people use actual common sense and gun safety in games. God bless, y’all did great and thank y’all for protecting us.
Thank you Joseph.
Thank you Jim .
This is so kickass!!
Always awesome to see how real life professional skills and experience translate to simulations!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
It’s actually fun to see people play this properly and not just killing everything they see
It's so enjoyable to see well-trained veterans play the game.
Found your channel lately and it's really great to see you guys working together on this game. I hope that the developers of this game could add more things to make this game more realistic. Every videos of you is like watching a movie. Great works! Thank you!
Welcome aboard!
Great videos man keep it up and thank you for the help and support you have given our country 🤝
No problem 👍💪🏾💓
Ug man no matter how many times I watch GLID's videos. THEY ARE ALL AWESOME!
Nice bro, Loved you !
It's fun watching people have fun with this game, but it's SO refreshing to watch people take it seriously like you guys.
Play it like it's real, it's the only way military guys know how.
Thank you brother 👍🏼
Yes I figured that out after the video lol. Next vid 100%.
@@GLIDGaming Nice! Can’t wait
Was going to comment this, it's perfect for your playstyle.
is the resting position the one you say no?
Is this game controller compatible?
Can't wait for the eventual perfect run on this game from you guys
👍🏼
Your dedication to keep it authentic is admirable. Even though it's a video game you still don't point your muzzle at friendlies when looking around. I appreciate it the dedication
Great example of how a plan needs to adapt to the change of conditions. Fantastic adaptation in the face off the loss of two of the team, well done guys.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I thank you for this legendary video i didn’t know i needed
😆. We got ya brother
I was wonder why your crosshair placement was so weird and all over the place but then I realized that your moving like that to not aim it at your teammates and blows my mind how aware you are about that even in a game. Great content btw!!
It's drilled into us mate, can't help it. Appreciate the comment 👍🏼🔥
Thank you guys for your service. I hold great respect for the Men and Women that served in the Armed forces. I was denied the right to serve my country due to the fact I have to take have medicine every day. But that will never stop how patriotic I am for my troops. ❤
If we are patriotic we we are all warriors it doesn't matter if we wear a uniform or not 👍🏼. Thank you for your comment ..
A textbook example of how this game should be played. Have learned a lot watching this video.
You're telling me in a frenzy of watching vids from this channel, I have only now realised it's GLID, Not GILD...
My.... apparent illiteracy aside. I can see myself watching these videos just to try and help my friends when we're playing. Faster clears, less risk, you name it.
Intense!!! 👌👌👌 nicely done Glid & Danno. Loving the content.
Thx man !
Excellent video. This game has some INSANE potential. Can't wait to see you guys tackle some of the other missions!
Can't wait man 👍🏼
First footage I see from the game that peaked my interests a few years ago and I am grateful it is you guys.
Thank you and much love from tactical crazy vets 💪🏻🔥🇺🇲🇬🇧
Dude I love how you guys take it serious and I gotta say that you should've called yourself Cap.Price
You are correct. But I was trained never assume rather be safe than sorry.
i know theyre real marines but it sounds funny to hear them take it so seriously 😂
Play it like it's REAL. VETS don't likes to watch untrained civvy gamers play FPS games.
Well spotted you are a clever civvy I love that 👍🏻🔥❤️
“You can smell the drugs.” Whole-Lee the immersion in this play through was top-notch. Good stuff, GLid.
Thank you Chris check the latest stuff brother you wil love it !
Incredible. Going through your mindset. See what really happens in operations. Things can go from quiet to loud in a flash. Great video. Definitely earned a sub.
Thank you Mr Ross my brother 👍🏼
Good work as always GLID, well done. I really like the spin this puts on your average tactical shooter - instead of "everyones a bad guy kill them all", you are given the chance to act as real police in the sense you get to arrest your targets. As minor as it seems, this puts an entire twist on the game giving you a lot more options of how to play out a situation. I also noticed that one of the phrases from the police says "put your hands up please" I'm surprised to see this in there as Police are traditionally taught not to use mannerisms in intense situations. Be assertive, take control.
Love your comment 👍🏻
Man it was scary when I saw other team down i was going to do a roll over
Yeah man 😬
GLID I only started watching ur vids like a month ago I'm in love wit them, I love ur tactics anD the way u r gameplay is..... GOOD EFFORT TEAM
Glad you like them!
I'm glad I found this channel. The level of realism and tactical play is just mind-blowing
Glad we found you 🔥👊🏼
13:05 "You can smell the drugs" GLID😭😂😂😂
