Excellent George, I like the idea with the paper clips I have heaps of them, I will definitely tie that one up, never fished streamers before but getting geared up for them, to give them a try on my local river.
Nice pattern 💯🎣🎣🎣🎣 I must tie some. A tip when doing articulated streamers not to get your fingers caught on the hook, I buy a bag of 200 little rubber ear ring stopper for like 3€ on Amazon and I put a stopper on the hook and this way you don’t get your fingers stuck on the hook when tying 😊
Cool video. Love the use of paperclips instead of expensive articulated shanks. Bet the broken wires from BOA wading boots would be good if using 2 hooks. Thanks for video.👍🎣
Good looking black articulated streamer George...would an olive version work well too in brighter conditions ?...nice to tie something up a bit bigger at the vise for a change compared to little nymphs and dries :)
An interesting video, thank you. I couldn't help noticing that you did not use your new Jvice for this tie. Is there a reason for that? Are you somehow disappointed with the Jvice?
Outstanding George , making things very clear and concise 👌🇮🇪
Many thanks...
I knew a few of them in my time.... angry birds 😅
No doubt.......
Ditto😂😂😂😂
Excellent video George. Looking forward to seeing it fished.
On the way, stay tuned.

Have fun
Great stuff George. I've been making Waddington shanks with Mk1 paperclips for years. Cant beat thinking outside the box.
Right on

Depends on the mood of the fish on a given day.
Great looking fly! Where would one be able to get that body material you put in the dubbing loop?
No idea
@@springerspanielful 😂 helpful 👍
Nice and thanks. Unfortunately wouldn't be ablr to use articulated flies on my waters, neither stillwaters and definitely not rivers
Sorry to hear that
great looking streamer . great video .
Much appreciated
Enjoyed video. Only one hook?
Correct!

Not at all, I have the excellent J Vise set up on my tying desk, the other is just handy for portability and for filming.
Honestly mate a waste of time and effort .a length of braid is a far easier and better method .
Too many twists and tangles with braid, however each to his own..
