Hi Scott, yes it is very possible. I am a local and have sold many paintings to people in Tauranga and the Mount. Let me know if any of your clients need something to brighten up their walls. Thanks for watching. Shaun.
@TruthSeekingElf Thanks, this one was pretty quick and was completed over a full day. I will be doing another tutorial type of video when I find some time. Things are pretty busy with Christmas orders starting now.
Truly stunning. Are you doing a part two from the part one you did a few weeks ago? This is so beautiful. How long does it take you to do a painting like that?
This is amazing. Can you tell me what medium you use to blend your colors? I have tried using water and a drying retarder but I still can't blend colors as you do. Its been very frustrating for me to paint a sky for example because I can't blend properly or get a smooth finish. I am trying to self-teach :) Thanks in advance.
I wonder what colors did you use for the lighter part of the sand!! I´m trying to mix some colors but I don´t get the same result!! Can you tell me? Thanks :)
It was awesome till you not painted those mountains there mate. Still nice, but without those it would be a great relaxational picture, you nkow. But good job.
Hi, I think this one was from www.tanjis.co.nz/ They make good quality canvases. I'm not sure if you are in New Zealand. Now I usually make my own canvases.
Why SO FAST? You are very talented and Im sure people would love to learn from your art videos, but at this speed is to hard to learn anything. Thank you.
Thanks for watching. I made this video a few years ago to show to the customer who bought the painting. It isn't intended to be a tutorial. I have a few videos with tips and techniques and would be happy to answer any questions about painting in acrylics.
Ok. Just what I DON'T need: hyperfast showing off. This was WORTHLESS!! Bring it down to regular speed, with narrative and commentary! Again...useless for learning HOW TO
everything was working ok until you ruined the background with that big awful greenish-gray mountain and covered the sky, life is missing, even birds would improve this. is a shame.
I think I was using a large flat square brush, maybe a fan brush at the end if the blending needed a final touch. Thanks for watching.
Yes, I agree -it would also be a beautiful picture without the mountains. But the final result is beautiful, too. I love the modern approach.

Cool Bro

I used a light grey (titanium white with a very small amount of black) and raw sienna for the light sand.
Looks great but feel it needs something to give it some focal point as it looks a bit bland.

It is based on a photo. See the about section.
