"bwomp" is the phenomenon that makes the body bump. It's a knee-jerk reaction to fun stimuli (esp. music) that causes people to people dance and/or act in a way that makes them feel good, without regard to outside perception. The song is indeed about the life of Charles Manson, but it goes a bit deeper than that...doubles meaning into the lyrics. Charles Manson was put away for his cult killings and actions upon society that he -used- for his own desire. It's one of those, "Death is the greatest love you can give" type of things. Base statement is, Manson was a user of life. Fair and square on his own terms, regardless of how fuked up a state of mind you'd have to be to agree with that, moraly. Hence, the word Bwomp. The second portion refers to what we're seperating the Users from. The Whores. Or politicians in power to be exact. What they do in legislation might as well be considered no worse and probably more horrid than what Manson did in his lifetime if the full information of bill legislation was available to the public. The question then remains, "Why do we allow this to pass upon us passively, and strike down those who actually believe in something and fight vigilantly for it?" Sure, Manson may have been insane, but he was indeed human. The majority of America, are just those lost in Bwomp and need to be rallied against the injustices around them.

Great spot to start. First big album. Mushroomhead has a solid catalog. Like others have requested, logical next song should be Solitaire/Unraveling Keep it up guys!
mushroomhead has always had multiple singers, the band is from cleveland ohio. jmann is the current "lead singer" if you want to put it that way he has always had awesome flow. you guys should really check out pharmacopia from mudvayne make sure to get a lyric video i know you will enjoy it.
Need to do "Solitaire Unraveling" next. These guys are sick live!! "We're the Kottonmouth Kings and we don't give a f*ck"....had to finish the lyric. RIP Saint Dog
"Sun Doesn't Rise", "We Are the Truth" and "Out of My Mind" are all songs you GOTTA try by Mushroomhead. "Seen It All" from their last album is also a good one, but do the others first!
Mushroomhead have had 4 vocalists (I think), but in this track I think it was just Jmann (rapping) and Jeffrey Nothing (Hatrix) singing. They later added Waylon to the band and even more recently Jackie.
Yes! Thanks for doing this one guys! I can't believe this vid only has like 5k views right now, Bwomp is one of their best tracks! If only more people would check out the classics like this. Honestly, after listening to hundreds of bands and artists, it seems most of them put out their best hits within their first three albums (with exceptions of course, like Nightwish for example).
Mushroomhead are highly underrated! got a whole Mix of talented sound, lyrics, vocals. apparently the name Was created during a mushroom drugs session when the band was getting high ( correct me if I’m wrong) I saw them live last year in the UK and was disappointed…. In case you are wondering, Jmann who does the rapping in this song has a background in both metal and hip hop. He has a few rap groups he's been in, one is called 10,000 cadillacs.
it is a great album. it inspired me to make a tribute cafe racer out of a 1980 CB650. I cant wait to ride it to a mushrooomhead show.... Im going to one in October.
They did a song for one of the saw movies called "soul is mine" Another one of there songs "kill tomorrow" has some mad rapping flow too it aswell. But defo do "our apologies" Ive seen other people suggest it aswell and it slams hard!

Mudvayne is insanely slept on, and mushroom head is still going strong. Chad Gray from Mudvayne is incredibly talented; listen to Hellyeah Sangra por sangra

Yes to all! Start with solitaire unraveling because (if memory serves me right) it was their first single. Crazy is a good song just to experience their work covering someone elses piece. Solitaire Unraveling is so fucking awesome
And we're still waiting.....
One of my all-time favorites. My wife is a country/hip-hop fan and even SHE loves Solitaire-Unraveling
a tip : watch movies on Flixzone. Been using them for watching loads of movies these days.
Mushroomhead does an excellent cover of Seals "Crazy".
They do when doves cry to my prince or the symbol or whatever
Mushroomhead "Sun Doesn't Rise".
For something more recent, I'd recommend "The Heresy" or "Seen It All".
1996 and it still hits hard today. Freaking love Mushroomhead. Cleveland, Ohio baby!
I grew up on 21st and dennison 216 baby
