@@KayeandRemo I saw you in the minivan at Valdez AK, last year when my son and I were fishing 🎣 there. Wish I would have stopped by and said hello 👋! Are you in the military?
@@fishduckdog Yup. Was in the military before. We haven't fully decided yet if we're going back to Alaska. Will definitely send out a community message if we do!
I love your videos. Thank you for the helpful info about harvesting oysters. The last video I watched was the razor clam video. Now I would like to take my little family out and try some of this fishing ideas. Keep up the hard work. I look forward more videos of catch and cook. Also I live in Washington state.
Thank you! Rules here in Washington State is a bit different. We're required to put the shells back. We'd honestly prefer to keep them in their shells! NZ is a dream destination for us!
Where is this videoed? Looks like the Nisqually basin near Olympia. I give you kudos for getting out there and trying. :^) The baby flounder was great!
I’ve lived in Southern California for so long, I had forgotten how beautiful both Oregon and Washington can be in the Summer and Fall. It’s Gooo eeey ducks. Or Goo. Eee. Ducks.
Thank you for watching! We love Singapore! We've been to a few places there including Clarke Quay and Tanjong Pagar area. We'd like to visit again someday!
nice place you know many places me and my family love oysters but we don't know where to go I would like you to share the place it would be a nice gesture from you thank you have fun
Absolutely and thanks for watching! This place is Dosewallips State Park. Recommend you visiting the WDFW website for site information. Also, they will close areas every so often so check the website first before going out!
Geoducks are the ones with the long syphon and brown shell. At first we thought pronunciation was Geo-duck similar to Nat-"Geo" but came to find out that it is actually pronounced Gooeyduck! Confusing but either way, those things are great tasting!
Due to this area and the Washington harvester community, we cannot disclose directly the location of this spot. However, we highly recommend checking out WDFW's website for the best up-to-date spots oyster harvesting. You can set some filters in no time and you might even be able to find a spot near you!
