Lovin' this build! I carry a Wesclox Bull's Eye pocket watch, circa 1957-1959. $1 when new. Guaranteed accurate within 3 minutes a day, which was pretty good for a watch with all mechanical (no jewels) works. I'm 55. Back in the '70's, when we were kids, my cousin and I used the watch as the timer on our Lincoln Log "bombs". It got treated as a toy. It is my daily time piece. 60+ years old and still performs flawlessly! The older the better! Back when even budget items made in the U.S. of A. were top notch!

I love the fenders, and the grill set back like you have it it adds a uniqueness to the buggy, but as you said Ken it only has to please you, but it is nice to have your peers appreciate it as well.
I find for myself I appreciate the effort, creativity and build processes involved that creators put into their projects and the joy that they have when it is TO a finished point of using it that to me as a subscriber adds to my enjoyment as well.

@@whatyoumakeofit6635 I think that they assume we are a soft touch and can be suckered into selling our country
Do a Google search using this and have a gander (look)
      '"Reputation of the Anzac Fighter's"
We are renound to have the best SAS in the world with the toughest training etc.
China has been trying to buy up our stations, (million acre type farms) ports, roads and even have brought up farms along a huge water way in the Murray basin over East, and dammed it to control the flow of liquid gold, water,!! you can see where that could go can't you?
They are doing the same to places like Vietnam and many more around the world.
They also are upset that our Premier in Western Australia here has stopped a aggravating billionaire, Clive Palmer selling our resource sovrenty of a huge iron ore mine to them which then would mean why should they buy our iron ore when they can rub our noses in the circumstances.
(Side note all the other minerals like gold, silver palladium etc are by products of the purifying process so they make nearly as much profit from those as the iron ore)
Search for Clive Palmer suing the western Australian govt for 30 billion dollars he is trying to bankrupt our state
Also China and those militarised islands are playing hsvock with shipping as well.
Yup I think you could say we are having a few problems with them and all this is also attributed to Donald Trump's attitude to them and we thus being at this point getting shaky on still being allies with America, they are taking it out on us Mr Trump has screwed us as well to add fuel to the fire.
      We live in interesting times.

@@whatyoumakeofit6635 China does own a fair percentage of Australia, along with the power grids in New South Wales and Victoria. Not to mention get a 99year lease on the major port in the Northern Territory Which the US Navy refuse to use. @@donaldleavy4379 Well aint you just a dandy! I've learned a long time ago that people possess two things...A-holes and opinions... neither matter to anyone but the owner. I happen to restore vintage Model T fords. Each car and truck I rebuild comes out bone stock and would be the pride of any museum. We happen to drive them and share our work with the people of our community. What Ken does is special in its own right, unfortunately his artistic expression is often lost to the pious, mouth breathing, knuckle dragging fools who lack both the talent and skills to produce any thing of value but the afore mentioned "opinions" .

Yes to the front fenders. They fill out the front end nicely. That truck's so long that the front end just looks kinda goofy without them.
It's funny how a person can look at someone elses project and come up with all sorts of ideas for it. I'm looking at this rig and seeing double hump fenders over the duals and a quad exhaust. Still trying to work out how to tie the existing stack into that system.
I guess that's how you know you've landed on an exceptionally cool project. When it gets other peoples imaginations running.

Hey Waylon. I've been out of touch for a while. But I'm back. Did the Dodgilac get new shoes? Oh, Waylon, I feel your pain when I see you struggle with that cab. Doing a 2 man job by yourself is frustrating and dangerous. But when you get it done, you feel REAL good. You sure NAILED the stance for sure. I am liking it. Why do car engines need the breather cap and a stationary engine doesn't? Very interesting. I don't look at the time. When I get hungry, it must be super time. When I get tired, it must be bedtime. Well, I do look at the clock once in a while just for kicks. But I guess you have a couple of hours of editing to do, so thanks for sharing another great video.🍁👍👍

HEY KEN! NEVER OFFER ANY ADVICE ON ANYONE'S BUILD'S. HOWEVER, I HAVE A 35 CHEBBIE RAT PICKUP, 1/2 TON BOBBER I BUILT. I DROVE IT FOR THE FIRST FEW YEARS AND THE BIGGEST COMPLAINT I HAD IS THERE WASN'T ANY ROOM FOR MY FEET, WITH THE SMALLEST BUCKETS SEATS I COULD FIND. I'M 5'7" TALL. IF A FRIEND WAS OVER 5'11" TALL IT WAS "GOOD LUCK", MIGHT SQUEEZE IN, BUT THERE YOU STAY, JUST MISERABLE. POINT BEING, POPPED THE CAB OFF, STRETCHED THE FIREWALL OUT 4" WITHOUT MOVING MOTOR/ANYTHING ELSE. HEAVEN! THOUSANDS OF MILES LATER, HEAVEN. LOOKING AT YOUR SETUP WOULD BE VERY EASY TO DO THIS BEFORE YOU GO ANY FURTHER,.WOULDN'T EVEN NEED THAT BIG RECESS IN THE MIDDLE & COULD BE A NICE FLAT FIREWALL, THICK, FOR A SMALL BOOSTER/DUAL MASTER CYLINDER TOO. PLEASE PUT A PAIR OF SEATS IN THE CAB & SEE WHAT'S LEFT FOR YOUR FOOTSIES! THIS WOULD SAVE A MAJOR HEADACHE I LIVED WITH UNTILI CURED MINE. OH, A SMALL OLD TIME WRECKER UNIT FABBED WITH AN ELECTRIC WINCH HIDDEN WOULD MAKE IT KOOL & USEFUL AROUND THE RANCH & YOU WOULD BE ABLE TO HOOK & BOB A-LOT MORE STUFF HOME!!!! MAYBE DRAG KERWOOD AROUND! GOOD DAY! LATER............................................

That can thing on the back on the left side holds a filter that draws fresh air for the PCv valves that's why the covers aren't vented. The 60 thru 62 by used a draft tube in that location with vented caps. You can get valves on ebay now parts. I would leave them and unscrew lid to the filter you can get from napa The PCv valve have disc and spring, none of mine have ever came apart. Good info on 6066gmc site and shop manual update for the 63 model year tells all about the pcv system.

4 rusty straight stacks welded to the back of the cab? With that stretch and the grille rake, me likes!

You need to get a couple of sets of the 'Scotsman' plaid valve covers. Had a V6 with them in a 63 GMC suburban. Would really make it stand out.
Right after I posted this, I watched the rest of the video...too soon, too soon.
