Without a form of cylindrical image projection by the sim, the wide screen would stretch the edges of the image like a very wide angle lens, the edge of view structures like the door frame or wing strut would be well over twice or three times its width compared to if it was in the centre of the image. Thank god. Can i get this version now?
You want a spectacular view do yourself a favor and get HP Reverb G2 and you'll never going back to monitors.
Yes! All these monitors seem like overkill and a nice VR headset is far superior since you get actual depth.
@@funlightfactory6031 of course you do they probably never saw that sim in VR I mean good VR with nice resolution like G2 has ( I had rift S before and picture quality is garbage compared to G2 ) but man those views and cockpit and everything I always scratch my head asking myself why they need 3 monitors if there is a VR.
@@Voltomess LOL! I had the same! A Occ S, and my friend told me to get a G2. I actually ordered it today. That's too funny.
@@funlightfactory6031 That is awesome man I'm telling you once you put them on and you see graphics you not gonna find your jaw until freaking Christmas , I hope you won't die from starvation 🤣🤣🤣🤣
it is not working with seround setup out of the box; you need the do lot stuff to get it corectly sad
That really worked well.
Great video, do all monitors need to have the same resolution?
Not at all but better if they do.
What size screens?
55" curved 4k
What size is this?
Is the 3 monitors resource already available for all, or still for beta testers? No more surround and that horrible distortion?
Just the beta now. another month and see what they improve on.
@@iamcanadian2121 Finally!!!! After 2 years cant wait to have it available. But, can we hide the title bars of the 3 windows? What resolution are you using?
can you link me
I have a 32:9 monitor. Will this be helpful to me too?
Without a form of cylindrical image projection by the sim, the wide screen would stretch the edges of the image like a very wide angle lens, the edge of view structures like the door frame or wing strut would be well over twice or three times its width compared to if it was in the centre of the image. Three separate windows like here would give less/better distortion. It would be like three 11:9 screens.
Is it correct that each monitor is a seperate window, or is it one window stretched across all 3 like in XP11 and P3D?
3 separate windows, Prepar3D is 3 separate too. Just Prepar is done for you with one click.
@@iamcanadian2121 I didn't explain very well; my apologies. I run P3D on 3 x 24" monitors in one window stretched across all three screens with wide aspect true on. This gives me a wide field of view without distortions when I pan. Does MSFS do this? I may be misunderstanding all the complaints about MSFS not supporting multiple monitors.
its about god dam time now why this took so long is beyond me
Is this on the experimental version only?? I can't find this option in my game
yes . wait another month for the 10 Update , probably be even better.
Would 3 monitor for this game for xbox work or just only on pc
I believe the BETA is for pc only .. I dont know anything about XBOX.
cool !
What size of screens are you using?
55" curved 4k
Worked very fast
how can i get to be part of beta?
uodate 10 will be released in a few days
Computer specs: I core 9 /32 gig ram /RTX 3080, Cant spell Either …. UPDATE !! yikes.. 3 X 55Inch Curved LED 4K TVs
what size monitors are you using? and were you running them all 4k? or what resolution?
@@jeffpriz I have a cockpit and when you run 3 monitors like that always run at 1980x1080 each.
@@bobinternationalvocalreact8025 I mean I understand standard HD for performance reasons, guess I would expect that a 3080 might be able to push higher than 30fps on 3xHD.. with the new DX12 and DLSS wondering if running 3x4k is feasible yet
@@jeffpriz I never try msfs 2020 for 3 screen but I will try this weekend. Im base on Xplane-11 , P3d, FSX for those games with I12900k + 3090 video card c 32 gig ram 1920x1080 between 30 and 42 in big city like KLAX, KSAN,KLGA other then that can reack 60 to 70 fps. Yes can see my setup on my UA-cam Channel ua-cam.com/video/0xvWhzt2IuE/v-deo.html
What size are the monitors ? I have 3080, i7-12700 and 32gb ram running quest 2 atm but vr is so limited in the game
Only several years late.
Have you tried it in an airliner yet? Curious if the experience is any worse than a Cessna. I’ve been using a triple monitor setup since day 1 so very much looking forward to this. Some people said a 3090 was overkill for gaming but not when you’re running 3 monitors and a resolution of 7680x1440.
we need 4090 for triple 1440p, we need always more and more power.
Worked great in the A320 for me! I'm only running a 1660Ti but my monitors are only 1680x1050 because they are older.
Vote.. forums.flightsimulator.com/t/remove-cockpit-view-key-button-vote/533154
What FOV are you using?
180. But it does depends on the amount of zoom you use. Maybe once Update 10 is released they have made this better..
Not really impressed here. What about multiple views? Swingcam, showcase, and cockpit each can have their own monitor?
55 inch

this is so sad I don't even know what to say. Why don't you throw away all that junk and actually step into that virtual cockpit in person in VR? not only cheaper, also way more immersive.
