I just got this wonderful game. Your instructions are great. I have a question about excess paintings. Can you use the excess painting (put it on the wall) once its considered excess or must it stay off the board as a penalty?

Can you double check that scene? I'm looking at it and only see the -2 exposed in the bottom left and top right, for a total of -4.
