Just made this. A bit of work dredging the chicken with the cornflour as it kept getting stuck to my tongs. Turned out using 4-5 tbsp cornflour. Double frying also took abit of time. As a newbie, I had no clue what I was doing but you know what Roland, it turned out really really good. Mother in law approved, family and kids loved it. Thx you.

I just made this for dinner and it was definitely a winner! Satisfied my craving for butter chicken so well, I'm so proud of myself for not failing making this 😭 thank you so much for the tips and this recipe is definitely a keeper! p/s: I added some curry powder to the gravy to tone down the creaminess of the milk.
Tried this and done the oven bake chicken way - for my oven at 200C for 20 mins and then to really crisp it up, I did 5-10 more minutes at 240C :) Golden and crisp!! And your recipe is super yum!! LOVE IT

I made this and it was AMAZING! I used chilli flakes instead (too kiamsiap to buy fresh chilli haha), which was just as good and spicy! Sauce was a solid 12/10, I will definitely make this again (just without the deep-frying, that was a pain heh). Thank you so much, sensei! 💖

Hi Susana, so sorry for our late reply. First of all, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm not a chef though - just an enthusiastic home cook just like you :)) It's okay if you leave out curry leaves if you can't get hold of them. If you can get hold of them, add them -- you won't regret it. Likely you will have to buy a big pack of the curry leaves but you will end up using on a handful of them. Freeze the leaves for future use. They will lose much of their fresh green colour but they will still taste good. Hope this helps :)))
Very good video. Can you please make a video on salted egg yolk prawns? I’ve tried many times but i can’t get the prawns fully quoted with sauce so it’s not shiok to eat.

For the double frying method to make crispy chicken, can l make the first frying, say a few hours before serving time and then do the second frying just before serving? End up I need to add extra sugar to balance it out hence the gravy is a bit too rich.. Anyway, me and my family still enjoy and approved it.. I reckon with correct amount of salt and sugar it would taste fabulous.. Thanks again sir... 🙏👍
