I miss Malaysian food from my years living there. Tried making this recipe today and it turned out amazing. Didn’t know it was so easy. With the extra heat, turned out better than Little Wok Kitchen I used to go to years ago. You’re the real deal bro. Well deserving of your Uncle title. Thanks for helping bring back some divine food memories.
I have problems even frying an egg..but yours was so well done n explained that it turned out perfect..better than restaurant quality..thank you so much😊
I am a big fan of Sherson Lian. I love how he actually tastes his food and he explains really well. I can see his passion in cooking..❤ Another subscriber here..masak lagi bang nak tiru resepi awak...
Oh my goodness. Looks yummy and flavourful. This will be a hit with my family. Thank you, Sherson, for the endless supply of delicious and doable Asian recipes.
Buttermilk has the tangy lactic acid that tenderises the meat by breaking down the tendons and ligaments of the meat. It looks simply delicious and absolutely scrumptious!
Wish you can put the amout or scale or spoon of the ingredients cuz I donno how to agak2 especially the butter and evaporated milk😭 but I do know you are a great chef, I always watch your cooking since I was a teenager.
Looks really great. Don't really like deep frying mostly coz of all the oil splattering the kitchen. I air-fry instead, but of course can't achieve the same crispiness. Btw, I count 15 times Chef Sherson says 'nice' in this video 🤣
Noice, Chef! What's the best substitute for the evaporated milk? Coz it's not my staple pantry stuff. Could it be regular milk? Coconut milk? Cooking cream?
You can sub it with a mixture of cooking cream and milk. Coz if you just use milk it won’t be as creamy. But if you just use cream it’ll be too thick. So a mix of both would give you the best substitute. Enjoy!
Hey, you didn’t miss anything. We had something come up that took our December away so we didn’t manage to film a Christmas special for 2022. But I promise you something exciting is coming. Hopefully we get it all done and edited by next month. Lookout for it ok !! Merry Christmas to you and happy new year!
I grew up saying flour like this. As a young adult, I watched a lot of chef from other English speaking country say flour like flower, I got accustomed to it being pronounced like that. One day, I went to my friends house and she had made some brownies. I asked her the recipe, and when she said 'flah', I had to think for a moment what she was saying, and I grew up learning to say it like that. I can understand your confusion. Also, the weird this is, I recall back in school, when we learned English, the teacher taught us about homophones, and when it came to flower and flour, the teacher pronounced it differently. It doesn't make sense.

@@ShersonLianTV make sense! Thanks chef! 🤩🤩
boleh tak nak guan heavy cream?
Can you use normal milk instead?
You can make your own evaporated milk, just simmer milk until it reduces about half and strain out the solids.
Can we repleace the evaporated milk with creme??
I don't see why not. But I'm not a cook. Lol
Looks good but if can can specify what’s the amount for all of the ingredients
By heart
to be honestly malay version Vs eng version.. I love you speak in malay version.
yay first
Did I miss your Christmas 2022 edition?

It would be good if you could list out the ingredients in English below all your videos.
Used real butter not buttercup or margarine, some malaysian mistaken "buttercup" as butter.
Whats’s the recipe?
What is 'flah'? Turns on captions, flour.
🤣🤣😂 sorry about that lol

No need to put condensed milk?
Sugar is better than condensed milk imo, have tried both
condense milk will make the dish alittle too creamy and the sweetness of condense milk is very intense. I prefer using sugar and evaporated milk :)
yes very much agreed :)

some of restaurant add on cheese ..
THERE WAS NO BUTTERMILK IN THE RECIPE! WHY IS IT IN THE NAME OF THIS VIDEO!?
Because thats the name of the dish
buttermilk here is the name of the dish, which combines butter and milk. it has nothing to do with the actual buttermilk.
If possible can you just wear a gloves just for the marinade part so its a healthy cooking show..😊😊
Why, he's making it for himself not customers 🤦🤡
Dy YG mkn bukan nya KO YG mkn
