I’ve always admired people that can play syncopated bass lines while singing a different melody. Shit ain’t easy. Khruangbin rules. They deserve the hype.

To then play/sing a different melody on top of that would mean playing/singing another rhythmic pattern/set of notes that plays independently from the other one already established.

Their live performances are even better than studio records. Awesome band! Time and time again I return to their splendid Pitchfork performance, and then go and search for more live concerts.

Glad i finally checked this band out, easy listening and these guys have some real talent to be such good singers while keeping their instrumentation so tight. This track in particular is way too catchy, been stuck in my head for weeks

I know that guitar could appear as psychpop. But, if you isolate it on your mind, it sounds A LOT like pink floyd. The dark side of the moon and the wall are there.
I wish Mark would make his AM transistor guitar sound fuller and less ice pick bright. Bigger sounding amps, big speakers and use a proper reverb in fx loop. Let the amp breathe, same effects and style just warmer bigger He is great apart from the brittle thin. The treble bypass cap on his volume control not matching the thin settings of the amp Double dose of bright. Just my opinion, I realize it makes no difference to many listeners who like that sound, respectfully.
