Very informative, thank you. I'm no audiophile and not in the market right now, though I do use a soundbar (Creative Labs Katana v2) and have a headset (Astro A50) but for me the telling feature to not buy and not recommend was the on/off button and volume dial being on the back of the speaker. Both are just not ergonomic. You mentioned that the speakers have a delay in turning on; my soundbar has the same issue and I solved it by telling it to be permanently active. I wonder if a similar solution might apply. Speaking of the volume knob, is it syncronised to the volume setting in Windows? That is, will it rotate when you change the volume in Windows or is it the maximum volume and the volume in Windows is a percentage?
I have a Logitech Z623 speaker and subwoofer setup for my PC. Are you well-versed enough to know how they could compare with NZXT's offering of a speaker and subwoofer setup?
Great sounding mic on that headset! There's far more expensive headsets with far worse sounding mics. I love the clean, simple look of everything. As long as the all important sound quality is up to scratch then looks like NZXT are onto a winner here
Did he say it was hard to switch between headphones and speakers? I spent a fraction of what these things cost and all I have to do is plug in my headphones and boom, easy to get headphones or speakers. No need to spend that much money, just need to learn how to use a brain!
@matmynett7220it’s a pain, it’s difficult…these are the same thing I.e. they are synonyms for each other. I’m not in grade school so just because the exact words weren’t used does not mean it isn’t the same thing m8. Again I’m not a child so use that one on other children ok m8. But if you are talking to grownups you should already know this.
great as always mat. hope you get to keep all that gear !
I like their looks. the sub looks pretty decent
Excellent review, not sure im sold on half the products,.but the switch thing looks innovative.
Thats a really nice simplified setup.
good review Mat, looked like a lot of work that one.

@matmynett7220 Thank you.
The headset in my opinion are very comfortable for my ears.
I just wish Nzxt would go for the wireless route even though the price would spike up
Interesting idea - SwitchMix in particular sounds good. can i use that with any headset/speakers or does it have to be NZXT?

good round up there mat, put a lot of work into that. Some of it is pretty meh, but I like the switchmix concept.

looks like a good ecosystem, but I already have most of this stuff anyway. good if you want matching white components
awesome review!
Can you get another pair of bookshelves to make a surround system?
Trouble is with audio reviews its really hard to tell how they sound in real life.
So NZXT have made a Sonos type system or something?
Would be interested in your take on the Sound Blaster Katana V2 and V2X
Aren't those soundbars?
switchmix looks the standout product. I think you though the same mat
love edifier
Si crean un giro y ademas le ponen un adaptador inalambrico seria de mayor precio
Interesting, but I'll stick to headphones for PC
Quite nice bookshelf speakers for the money but maybe the woofers could have been a higher quality.
I'm just not gonna buy 560$ worth to annoy my neighbors 😂 way to expensive I'd rather buy a GPU or cpu.
Different market isn't it, this is aimed at someone looking for a complete audio solution
