    Thank you Daniella! I did the mushroom brunette and it's so stunning. Please make more recipe/formula videos like this (particularly for brunettes/brondes, with an emphasis on tonal variations and nuanced shades), such an amazing concept and so helpful for those of us who like to DIY hair color but want a professional outcome. So grateful for you.

    I want to go back to brunette after it being bleached blonde, what would you recommend to use as a filler colour before with the EQ line? I want to end up quite a neutral/ashy brown at the end, absolutely love the ash and espresso formulas!

    • @DaniellaBenita
      @DaniellaBenita  3 роки тому +5

      Hey! I would use anything with a G in it. You want to add warmth back into your hair so when you put the dark color on top it has depth and that underlying pigment you lifted out going bleach blonde. I would use equal parts 7G 7GB. It will add warmth but not too much!

    Thank you so much for doing these videos and being so gracious and giving with your tips! There really is nothing else or no one else doing this out there. I recently got a balayage that turned out way too golden. I am desperate to get back to a rich brunette. How long after having the balayage do I need to wait to do one of these mixes from the video? I don't want to damage my hair. Also when you say 5grams is that half of each bottle? That's probably a very silly question. Thank you so so much again!!!

    • @MegaTinni
      @MegaTinni 3 роки тому +1

      There is no waiting time. These are acid colorings and not as damaging as ammonia based regular dyes.

    • @DaniellaBenita
      @DaniellaBenita  3 роки тому +2

      Exactly! There’s 60 grams in each bottle so I would use half of each bottle with 1 oz of processing solution if you have medium to thick hair.

      Since they are a gloss/toner it’s basically whenever the color washes out or becomes dull. As far as gray, I don’t think the hair would hold it well because the texture is completely different. That’s why permanent color is usually used for gray hair and the processing time is usually longer. It’s stubborn to add color to.

    Hi! So I did toner number two and when I tell you I’m literally obsessed with it it came out so beautiful! The only thing for me is I’m noticing I have a little bit more gold tones throughout my hair and a little bit of red on the top you can’t even see it it looks morsel of a chocolate brown but the underlying warm color is definitely a little bit of red. I was wondering which toner from Redken would you suggest that has a little bit of green in it?

    I want an ashy natural brown. They don’t sell 7v in the Netherlands. Will i still get a nice result if i use 15 gr 7T and 15 gr 7N?

    Umm, hi. Do you have wings? Because you are an ANGEL for doing this! I am so grateful for this succinct, yet perplexingly thorough, demonstration!

    I use ONLY 06ABN and its too cool. I buy it from Walmart but people say their stuff may be expired. I like your espresso brunette but want to take out a little of the warmth. what formula could I use....?

    Is possible to do a root stretch with the espresso formula ? I think my natural regrowth is between level 4 and 5.
    I would use the espresso or ash formula for a reverse balayage. But then I need something lighter for the lower part of my hair which has a old balayage and highlights that need to tone done.
    I need serious help... had been to 3different stylist and they never do what I asked for.

    I have about 10% gray and otherwise have very dark brown hair (Asian hair). Is it okay for me to use 03N Espresso all over? Or do I have to include 10-25% NB in the mixture as well? If so, would that be 03NB then? Thank you!

    Can I mix 7N & 6G to get a similar "mushroom" effect?

    I qurently have an ashy dark blonde balayage and I want to try the espresso brunette, I know over time it will lighten but I want it to be permanently a shade darker than it already is, will it work on my case?

    Would you say that the sample hair you were coloring was a level 5 or 6? I really liked the Mushroom Brown but wasn’t sure if I should go level 5 bcz my client has level 5 hair but yet you’ve got level 7 toner.
